So obviously these pups aren't gonna be normal, and are indeed part of a HUGE plot. Being the offspring of Phantom, It's more likely for the sons to be raised as war machines, seeing as their mother was a slave, there's not gonna be much love from "Daddy-dearest". And the fate of his darling daughter has still been undecided. Mama Sayang (played by our own admin, Image) is going to be cut off from her pups at the earliest possble time. So the pups will know their mother as another slave, not as the one who gave them life. Sayang will be forbidden to tell them the truth on pentalty of losing her life.

Don't fret precious I'm here, step away from the window, and go back to sleep...

First Born Male
Name: Xanthos [Heir]
Appearence: A huge, bulky domineering male. His coat is a rich tan, almost mahogany in color, with matching brown eyes.
Personality: Very stubborn and strong-willed. (Daddy's favorite)

Second Born Male
Name: Seerten
Appearence: A tall, but delicate, reserved wolf. His pelt is an off-white, with faded, gray-black spots blanketing his back and chest and lightly over his legs.
Personality: More of a thinker and explorer, and not a fighter. But he has a hard mind like his parents.

Name: Ashona
Appearence: smallest of the litter. Has a darker pelt, a dark brown-black with some white spotting on her chest like her mother. Tan points mark her tail, paws, and stomach.
Personality: The quietest of the litter. She's shy, and not much of a talker or adventurous. Keeps to herself, but can be bubbly when opened up.

Seeing as these pups are part of a plot, I would appriciate when they are auditioned for you place a short rp sample in the character of the pup. It doesn't have to be as long as a regular post for the site, but i'd like to see how you interpret the pup, so that I can get a good Idea of how it's going to be played.

Seerten’s mouth opened up a yawn that seemed to stretch those jaw muscles. Shaking his head out he stood up, shaking out his coat, turned a small circle and then looked about with the bright blue eyes of a young pup. It was a new day, which meant another chance to explore, to find out secrets of the land around him. Looking at a small spot on the floor a short ways from him Seerten saw Xanthos was already awake and no longer in the den. Perhaps off with father? Learning how to be everything dad wanted him to be.

Again, no one had woken Seerten. Seerten was of no true importance, he just didn’t have what it took to please his father. Likely he would becom a regular member of the pack, below the alpha’s and beta’s but above the omega’s just for the sake of his father’s pride. Dad would never care for him so long as he didn’t try to be like Xanthos. Quick to anger, to enjoyment in fighting and even an enjoyment of others in pain, this is what father wanted in a son.

Seerten’s jaw tightened as he left the cave at a quick trot, quick for a pup anyway. These thoughts were not knew, but seemed to be a part of waking up most mornings. Still, one positive trait about being young is the ability to accept a situation and find ways of moving on. Dad would never love him but Seerten could use the day to explore, to move each day a little farther from the den and see what secrets the land held.

Yesterday he’d gone to the stream and discovered there was more creatures than the silvery shiny fish in it. A small creature with little pincers, a shell like head, and tiny legs had run sideways until it was hid under a small rock. Why would something run sideways he’d wondered. What a funny creature. Wondering how it tasted Seerten had nudged the top rock of the crab’s hiding place away and moved his muzzle next to the crab planning to bite the creature and instead the crab bit him! Well…it actually had its little pincer clamped onto his nose and Seerten found himself shaking his head a few times before it had fallen off. Growling at the crab that was again scuttling off to a new hiding spot Seerten decided he’d let it go this time.

As he moved down ccloser to the stream he spotted Xanthos already there lapping up some water. Seerten slowed down, glancing between his brother and further up the river. To see his brother now likely meant a reminder of who father preferred. Still, he could not always avoid his brother, he was family regardless of how he felt about him. Maybe someday it would be different, but more likely it never would. A

With a slow trot he started towards his brother and paused after only a few strides as Xanthos raised his head noticing Seerten. Where Seerten appeared hesitant about seeing his brother Xanthos appeared confident and amused at how well his brother was learning his place.

“Xanthos.” Seerten acknowledged his brother with a rather neutral tone, refusing to show how he felt on edge around the brother who was perfefct where he was apparently flawed.

“Seerten.” Unlike his weaker brother, Xanthos tone vocalized the dark amusement of his weak brother. So long as Seerten remembered his place they would get along just fine. If he forgot it would be no trouble to remind Seerten of his place, in fact it would be fun. “I was up early, following father around. I have to be with him often so that I learn how to be a good alpha.”

“I saw you left, I’m not stupid Xanthos. I knew you were most likely with him.” Frustrated tolerance. “I’m going to check out further downstream. I suppose you have no interest in going with me?” Of course he expected the answer to be no, and certainly wanted the answer to be no.

“Sure, I’ll come. Father’s going to bring back a deer tonight. He said until I could run faster I’d just be in the way. I’ll be a good hunter though as I get larger.” Spending time with his brother was occasionally good, it gave him reminders of who was in charge.

Why had he offered? Seerten nodded and headed down the stream imagining he’d lead since he probably knew the area better than Xanthos. Silly him.

Xanthos charged ahead, grabbing Seerten by the ruff and shook his head a few times with what would eventually be a vicious growl, but now it was more of a muffled sounding puppy voice with no real threat to it, unless of course you’re another pup.

Seerten yelped in surprise, growled back at his brother but then changed and tucked his tail. Fighting his brother would get him no where good, he’d lose and get beat up anyway. Seerten was tired of being pushed around and hoped someday he’d get to show Xanthos and father that he was of value. Xanthos was more aggressive but Seerten would learn to outwit other wolves. Brother would need him someday and Seerten would have fun making him ask for that help.

“I lead, I always lead!” With that Xanthos kept his head high and started the slow and arrogant trot downstream. He didn’t care that Seerten had already determined where he’d wanted to explore. They would go where Xanthos wanted and Seerten would have to deal with it.

RP Sample: Ashona's deep brown orbs that contained splashes of green peered from behind her mother's hind leg as she watched her brothers play aggressively. She knew from the start that Xanthos would be the clear winner. The eldest brother was more equipped for the rugged fight, while Seerten was born to think. Ashona was eager to join but didn't have the nerve for she knew her father would not want his girl to be a fighter. She watched as the fight came to a close with Xanthos' clawful pin and Seerten's yelp.

Ashona couldn't stand her eldest brother's cruel methods, but what was she to say? She envied her brothers ability to be offensive. She envied that they were sons. But again she knew there was nothing to be done. And with the end of that thought Xanthos snuck up behind her and nipped her tail which lead to a short bursted yelp. Ashona flung around and with gentle fury in her eyes she sternly said, "Xanthos! Quit it! You KNOW how I feel about my tail being touched."

"Ooohh look who has a voice! I was beginning to think you'd gone mute!", Xanthos replied sourly as Ashona backed into their mother with ears that flew back and a scared look. Xanthos was just about to go for the killing mock when Seerten ran up and nipped his sandy tail.

"Just give her a break," Seerten said calmly. Seerten knew his act would anger Xenthos enough to keep his attention away from Ashona, and as Xanthos pranced on him, Seerten's thoughts were confirmed. Soon a rough but frivolous fight ensued that led the two brothers away.

Ashona watched as they went into the distance, and a surge of guilt came through her. She felt terrible for putting Seerten in that position. She felt she should have been able to defend herself. But how could she? She didn't know how and Daddy would disapprove of her gaining experience in that area of life. What was she destined to become? She had no clue. But if one thing was certain Ashona couldn't get on her fathers bad-side. However she wasn't about to give-up on her mother. As these thoughts piled into her small skull, her eyes started to droop and she curled up to let sleep take her...
