Visare The clouds roared to life as Visare followed after Phantom, her ears perking at the monstrous sound. As they continued on, Visare grumbled something under her breath, her paws beginning to shake as lightening flashed in the distance. Her eyes shut quickly, her chest beginning to heave as she tried to calm her breathing. She continued to follow Phantom, her slick ebony pelt weaving through the shadows and around clumps of rocks. Her eyes stayed glued to the brute's moving form, her blazing eyes narrowed at his larger form. Had she known that she'd get such an arrogant brute, she never would have arrived at the damn rock. Her paws slapped grumpily against the ground, wanting more than anything to annoy him. It was kind of like a ritual for her, testing her master's to see what their "punishment" was. "So. Phantom, how many slaves do you own?" The words rolled off her tongue with such ease, but her head was still low, her eyes looking directly up at him through her thickly matted fur. She slowed her pace parshly, her claws digging into the muddying dirt that crunched beneath her feet. Visare let out a shaky breath, her eyes beginning to droop as her tail's once swaying tail went lax and she nearly collapsed right then and there. Her stomach let out a soft growl, her ribs showing beneath her thin frame. The clouds roared to life once more, and the lightning cackled, seeming to laugh at her mangled form. Visare let out a sudden, unexpected yelp and froze in her tracks, her eyes widening in fright before she whimpered with a shaky breath and shook the dust from her pelt. Her head snapping to her shoulder to chew off a clump of dried mud, Damn,I really need a good soak... Visare sighed at the thought then looked to the sky, cursing at it mentally, but thanking it all the same. And then, the rain came crashing down--the sickly sweet water soaking her frail form with droplets of water. Her paws slopped against the muddy ground, coating her paws with the sickly brown stuff. Her eyes closed as she left her head in the upright position, coating her face as her thoughts soared. The clouds continued to roar and the lightning to crackle, and each time it was heard/seen, she flinched and had to bite her tongue to hold back the whimpers that she so desperately wanted to emit. For such a barren land, it had a harsh rainfall--something that was not too surprising, but certainly not exciting for her.

The overly tall and lanky wolf trotted across the barren landscape. This was far from the most attractive landscape he’d traveled across. He really preferred soft grass over rough rock but it was something new to explore, and new was never a bad thing. As the thunder roared its claim over the land Bakio felt relief flooding him. Rain! He could smell it in the air and the thunder was even more of an assurance. A whine of excitement, a few bounces ahead of him and then he loped a short distance several soft keening sounds coming from his throat. The idea of howling up at the sky with his new found excitement was appealing but he'd already smelled that the land was inhabited by another wolf and did not desire to so vocally let them know he was here. The wolf's body was a dull copper that from a distance worked well to hide against the rocky landscape where colors blurred together, but up close with his long legs pushing him up close to 40 inches he was quite visible. The smell of rain dampened his ability to smell out other wolves coming near, but he imagined as long as he kept his eyes open he'd be alright. The rain poured down, as if someone had punched a whole in the cloud. After so much time in the sun, and traveling a distance without water it was paradise! For being a good seven years old the wolf was currently acting as if he wasn't even 2, prancing up head to air one moment so that the rain dashed itself into his face and the next moment he was belly up on the ground letting it soak the under side of him, tongue lolling out to the side. When he was finally content with no longer being thirsty and feeling as if he was coated with dirt and dust he lay on the ground, letting the water pelt him as he relaxed, eyes half closed but ears up wide to listen for sounds. His mind floated off imagining what stories he could create of such a place. Bakio sighed a peaceful smile on his face, that black tipped tail swaying slowly back and forth. Surely stories could be find in such a place as this, perhaps he would think up some as h rested. Moments passed and then his head jerked up to stare farther off. A sound? Someone coming? It was hard to tell for sure over the sound of the storm. Hopping to his feet his ears straining for another sound he realized how foolish he'd been. Excitement had over ruled the sensibility he normally used. To rest in the open in the middle of a storm where scent and sound and sight were cut so drastically? Where would he run to if needed? Not much hiding spots and he wasn't even positive about the direction the sound had com from, just a guess.

Just a little more, come on and satisfy me
The brute was proud of himself, in only one day he'd claimed his first slave, and not only had such a good time with the strange canine, Sayang, probably broken the poor dear. But he didn't care, she was but a mere sklavin, that was what she was there for. To bring joy to her master. Now he'd captured this fae Visare, that may just end up with the same fate. However, he was tired now, the journey, back and forth from the Akuton rocks, was a bit exhausting, and just dealing with the excitement of the days events. "it isn't too much further, doll. we're nearly home" he said as a smirk began to drap across the brute's face.
Just a little more, come on and terrify me
The rummbling and flashes in the sky, were a blessing, they hadn't gotten rain on this land in such a long time he began to believe that the gods had forgotten poor little Einheit. Not even five minutes later the rain began to pour down. his regal pelt soacked down to the bone, and muddy paws, made him look like the sklavin Kasimira thought he was. But the brute held his head and tail high even in this horrid weather. "Keep up Sklavin, we picking up the pace" he barked as e brought his walk to a calm trot. He was nearing the meeting rocks of his pack, past there would be the warm dens, and the creature Sayang. Home, they were home.
Take my life and then I'll feel okay
The brute nearly tripped over something laying in his path, he figured it was a log of come kind. A furry log? No, the brute looked down "you know, you picked a pretty stupid place to nap tresspasser!" the brute snarrled. Not only did this wolf nearly embarrass him infront of his new sklavin, but he was napping on his land unanounced, how much more did this wolf wish to disrespect him before it even opened it's mouth.

Visare couldn't help but laugh as the brute stumbled, her ears pinned back as she gazed down at the form he had tripped over. Had she not known better, she'd have said the creature was dead, but no -- it wasn't. The creature, also a brute she suspected, was simply asleep in the falling rain. As another crash of thunder sounded, Visare let out a yelp and jumped, stumbling into Phantom's side, then jumping to the side when she hit her new master.
Her head bowed as she rammed into him, her eyes darting back and forth as she tried with all her might to keep in the pitiful whine she so desperatly wanted to let out. Her paws quivered beneath her, the mud shaking with her, as her eyes gazed into her murky reflection. She hated storms, and rain, she sometimes wished the world could live without water -- but, she was a logical wolf and knew that no matter how hard she might wish it, the Rain would never fully disappear.

Bakio jerked his head up with a snorting sound, shaking his head a bit as he woke up. Looking up he saw two wolves, and one appearing quite angry right in front of him, no doubt the one who’d caused him to wake. He took his time standing up, being sure his short tail stayed low, head shifting slightly away from looking at this angry wolf.
Bakio’s coat was a dull coppery red, but possibly the most distinct detail about him was that black ridge on his neck, almost resembling a mane. His lanky legs lifted him up so that when he stood that small head of his was actually just ever so slightly higher than Phantom’s. He should have been more careful about where he chose to rest, but then there were very few places to hide in this bit of land.
“My apologies.” At least he sounded humble enough about it. Bakio had learned as a pup that pride might have its place at points, but far better to be humble when there was a chance of being able to avoid conflict. “Obviously it is too late to announce myself, but please I meant no harm. I was being careless, it was not meant to defy.” A short pause, then slight grimace, his tail staying low but offering a slow wag back and forth nervously. Bakio was tall and in fine shape, but he doubted whatever fighting skills he had would not be a match for this brute. “My name is Bakio.”
Bakio’s eyes flicked over to the other wolf with him, but that one certainly wasn’t appearing threatening at all. This male in front of him, his eyes almost seemed to demand his attention, like small black holes that drew the eye and sucked you in so that it was quite difficult to look away. Bakio’s ears seemed to not be able to decide where they should be, flicking forward as if waiting to hear the answer, then back to express his knowledge of his guilt. Not that it was anything new to travel in anothers land, it was just rare he be so careless that he be caught.
