The two-legs were gone, they disappeared long ago, not that he cared. They only brought misery to his kind & so he was grateful that they were finally gone. His ghostly form moved silently over the barren pathways walking with no one but his shadow. An eerily calm wind blew as the rising sunlight began to brighten the land preparing to give way to another cold day. Phantom walked over the hills of his domain with little trouble despite his large form. He stopped atop a pleateu and roared a howl, it echoed through the hills of his home. Birds scattered taking to the skies and abbandoning their nests, hoping to fine safety among the clouds.
Phantom grinned smuggly to himself as he looked over his lands "who other than me deserves these lands, speak now" He listened intently to hear an interloper's smug remark but heard only silence. The great alphen laughed under his breath. Now he had his new home, and only he would control it. He was the only judgement of his pack, and he knew he could take on any challenge that came his way. The wind shifted crashing into the mountain of rocks and logs he called his den and blowing a mighty updraft, he walked downhill against the draft, his paws clinging tightly to the rocks so as not to slip. The tough conditions tested his stength all the time and time and time again he's proven himself worthy of his home.
Though he was a bit lonely, it was a pitiful pack of one at the moment, and in a war he'd never win no matter hw strong he believed he was. there existed no such dog that was an army one unless he was against a pack of pups. At the main entance to the den which actually lead down under the pile then back up INTO the rocks, like a beaver den, he sat. He was battered by winds, and dust, he hated dust storms, and retreatd underground until it passed. Knowing no one was stupid enough to travel into another wolf's den, even if they were desparate.

KASIMIRA Harsh sand blew into the queen's face as she swept her black bodice across the neighboring pack's border. Kasimira had taken it upon herself to set out from her growing pack see the new Alpha that graced these forgotten, barren lands. What kind of wolf would claim such a strange and unmerciful terrain as this? One had to be either a strong lover of harsh winds and rolling dirt and sand--for there was not a tree in sight from her current position--or certifiably insane. It was only one of the two options.
As the wind grew fiercer and the sun's heat more mind-numbing, the dark coated she-wolf slowed her pace to barely a trot, her mind swirling. Where exactly was the Alpha? Even after a good ten minutes of perusing the grounds, she had found no trace of the supposed 'alpha' here; maybe it had all been a rumor? Pfft, her ears had not deceived her. She had caught the male's powerful howl on the wind herself, and her skills were not to be doubted. With a swish of her silk tail, Kasimira threw herself forward again, her blue eyes peeled in search for the pack's leader.
It was then that she let loose a strong, commanding howl. It rang through the heated territory, fading and lost in the spacious land that surrounded her. It unnerved the female, to be a terrain that was so unlike her own, with no trees or fresh meadow grasses to make her wild wolven call spring back at her, as soft whispers were known to do in a chilly, dripping cave. Come find me. It was a harsh, discordant order from the ebony she-wolf; she was the highest of the high and she expected to be waited on hand and foot. This vixen would not wait forever for her hiding, sniveling neighbor to appear in her presence. Heck, she was too lovely to set a single ashen paw here anyways. It was his privilege that she had made such a trip.
With a snort of rough indignation the she-wolf stood her ground, waiting for this new Alpha's arrival. The queen had come.

The howl echoed about his chamber, his ears perked to analyze the call. Someone had summoned him, and It was the alpha's job to greet all newcomers to his land. However, this sounded as if it were an alpha, it held command, and power in the sound of the call. A snort passed from his lips, what kind of moron would be out and about in a dust storm where the ground was barely visible in the blazing heat, the storm made distances vanish. It was obvious that even he, the alpha that owned the land was not out and about, he knew better, apparently this one did not. Her felt safer in his den anyhow; he had rigged it with tunnels not only to be used for escape but for attack should any enemy make it into his home. This was more than a den, it was a fortress. After a moment of lying in the luxury of his quiet fortress, the winds seemed to have calmed down quite a considerable way, and he decided to go find this guest of his.
The beige brrute traverssed his land, with dignity, tail held at the highest point, ears erect, and head held high making him seem a few inches taller, and larger than he was. The alpha pranced gracefully over the barren lands he called home, and soon came into veiwing distance of the alphen wolf he had heard earlier in his den. This one was a ebony fae, and she was certainly quite proud of herself. The way they held themselves in each other's company, it was obvious that they each thought they were the in the top most rings of society, but here she was below him. Here on his land, he was in the top most ring, and she couldn hang back in a ring. "And whom do I have the hnour of addressing?" he cooed. "You, dear fae, that the privladge of meeting Phantom, alpha of the Einheit Pack." he barked as a toothy grin spread across his maw.
OOC-- This is gonna be fun, because they are both so full of themselves, lols.

KASIMIRA As the afternoon wore on the sandstorm lifted it's ferocity from the pack lands, fragments of dust and sand swirling gracefully through the air. This then was the real Einheit. Garbed in a beautiful hue of sweet tawny and rippling khakis, the dunes and rough, rocky paths laid before her like a chess board. From above her rose the paled image of a wolf. The Alpha. Kasimira daintily picked herself up from waiting and moved forward to introduce herself. Whether or not she was ruler of these lands mattered not to her. She was a queen in her own right.
"And whom do I have the honor of addressing?"
Kasimira narrowed her eyes as he spoke, for she was quick to judge; he would be no exception in her game. He seemed polite enough on the outside but the black fae was not to be deceived so easily. This male held himself with the air of one so pompous in mind and so swelled with his own being that she wanted to gag. It was disgusting; he was nothing more than a common wolf. His pelt was ruddy shot to pieces with sand and dirt coating the beige fur in what she could only perceive as absolute uncleanliness.
"You, dear fae, that the privilege of meeting Phantom, alpha of the Einheit Pack."
His vocals hit the air with a harsh kick to them, gruff and all too certain and confident of themselves. As for his overall eloquence with words, she was simply amazed that such a ragged wolf that spoke as he did had gotten anywhere remotely close to her own majestic borders. Kasimira rolled her striking blue eyes, a small fire beginning to swell inside. Regardless of his poor word choice, she knew what the pale, sickly looking Alpha had meant. On the contrary, m'lord... It was with a smirk and a lifting of her ashen tail that she strode forward, her dark lashes batting. Outside she was a flirtatious vixen, helpless and naive. Inside was the real monster that howled displeasure to the sweltering skies.
"Meeting you in this wasteland is no privilege of mine, let me assure you. Don't flatter yourself."
Rude, she knew. It was brash and completely out of line for her to be so carefree with the way she spoke to him. But he needed to find his rightful place. All too well Kasimira knew his true place was below her, no matter what territories they stood upon.
"As for who you are in the presence of, I am no other than Queen Kasimira of Irrsin. I accept Lady or Alpha before my name as well."
Ha! The pleasure of hearing her own velvet vocals dripped through her, lighting the fire that burned, letting the oil coat her heart. The second bit was a tad intruding but she was on a roll, her tongue whipping the flames into cackling obedience as they danced before her eyes.
"Now. It would be in your best interests to listen to what I have to say."
It was with a rather haughty facade that she gazed at him with, azure penetrating the glassed brown that this, this--what was his name again? Pharoh? Pharon? Phantar? Phantom. That was his name. Kasimira dipped her head in a secret mock respect before settling herself onto the warm sand, glad for once that his lands provided a use for her. The feeling of her paws sinking slowly into the drifting sands certainly wasn't her cup of tea. But ordering lesser wolves--and by lesser she meant the wolf population in its entirety--around? Check. At that, she was the best.
"Sit. I have much to discuss about the future of both of our packs."
Blue eyes boring into the male, Kasimira waited for his pitiful response. Bow down, you mutt...
ooc- ohh yes, this will be funnnn. :) hope phantom's not too ticked at her arrogance, haha.

Oh dear me, i've stummbled upon a spoiled puppy dog was the first thought that came to the brute's mind when the alphess opened her mouth. His eyes rolled finding a more pleasent place to rest looking upon his mound of boulder where he would hold pack meetings. He seem to drift off into a daydream.
He stood atop the rocks staring out over a large pack, almost a army. legions of warriors roared the praise of their mighty alpha, and faes swooned of the stud-like body of the reigning brute. A howl ripped from his lips and shattered the air, the entire pack joined in, even the pups. Beside the brute stood a faint ghostly figure, as the howl ended the two cuddled (this was the mate he had yet to find). Soft yips came towards them, the alpha rotated on his heels, and wagged his tail excitedly his tail wagged even as the femme before him continued her rant. He gave a slight nod as she mentioned her name, he hadn't payed attention to any of the later titles.
The brute snapped from his pleasent day dream, back to the boring rality and this less than amusing female. She ordered him to sit, the brute scoffed. He kept his regal appearence as he turned towards the meeting rocks. "Come." he said in a gruff command. He wasn't about to take orders from another wolf on his land, even if it was another alpha. It was a female, she had no hold on him, especially here, she must've been out of her god forsaken mind.
He paced at a quick trot over the dusty sands, the burning feeling tingled his legs, and he almost wanted to sprawl out and roll through it, but he fought the urge, and kept his composure. "Perk up those ears of yours and do well to listen this first time, I despise repition." he barked taking his place on the highest point of the rocks, looking down on the femme dominor with golden eyes. "Because you are new to my land, I'll give you fair warning. I do not take orders from anyone Kasimira. And if you should ever call on me again, you will wait atop these rocks, I will make it my best effort to accompany you at MY earliest convinience. It is here I negotiate, it is here we shall speak. Understand?" he said wrapping his tail around his hind quarters as he sat.
"I do not know the customs of your pack, but there is chaos over these lands, so my pack MUST be ordered." he said in a soft chuckle. Had her parents not raised her well enough to know that not everything is uniform to her own existence.
OOC-- I'm seeing a plot beginning here. LOL, I see them perhaps becoming enemies, and fighting at some point. That fight would either end with her learning that she is just like everyone else, and not special in the way she thins (if she loses), or a major ego boost (if she wins) haha.

KASIMIRA "Come."
Kasimira dead locked her gaze with Phantom as he walked away from her, his expression bored. Hadn't he heard her threats and taken her ferocity seriously? Rage gripped the female as she followed him, a snarl bit back from her throat. One day he would be begging for her mercy.
"Perk up those ears of yours and do well to listen this first time, I despise repition."
It was now that he addressed her from the top of a rugged looking rock. Kasimira would have none of it. He was deliberatly disobeying her. Her! Of all people to ignore, she was not the one. He would pay dearly for that. Kasimira made a move to interrupt his sentance but he beat her to the punch, his golden eyes flashing a hostile dominance at her. Ooh, the dog looks mad. I'm quaking with fear. It was her inward retort, the words held back only because her plan could not be flawed with petty remarks.
Understand?"
Kasimira's bold azure eyes stared into his very core, her heart racing, thumping revenge. Oh, ho ho. He had made himself her number one tartget. Placed himself at the very top of her revenge list. Her blood boiled and sang to her a sweet, seductive song of ripping his throat out, letting his blood run down his precious rock--the idea hit her. With a smirk Kasimira obediantly leaped up to join Phantom on the rock, her demeanor changed directions completely, a small imitation of the winds.
"I do not know the customs of your pack, but there is chaos over these lands, so my pack MUST be ordered."
The vixen dipped her ebony head in respect, a glint in her blue eyes the only betrayal of her cunning that raged inside. As the sand whipped over the lands again Kasimira began to speak, her eyes narrowed at Phantom, her mind thinking wildly. She would not be outdone.
"Phantom, let me tell you my intentions of speaking with you."
She paused for dramatic effect, trying to contain her excitement.
"I would like us to make a pact. A pact that speaks of our utmost alliance and alligence to each other."
Kasimira turned her face away, surveying Phantom's territory with her blazing eyes. They had grown passionate, unnerved.
"We need to have strong allies in each other; my pack is strong and yours is growing. You, as I can only assume, wish to keep slavery racing through these lands, yes?"
The female got up, moving towards the male with hips swaying. Now it was time to seduce the monster. Kasimira nudged his flank with a soft brush of her muzzle, eyes gazing at him, edging on flirtatious. She thought herself beautiful--as did Zy--and hopefully this brute would be entranced into agreement.
"Are we in agreement, m'lord?"
It was a soft, faint whisper, slipping of her lips as she moved parallel to his bodice. Blue eyes ripped themselves from his own amber gaze and she gazed over his terrain with desire lingering in her gaze. That was first time she had ever spoken inferior to anyone. The words struck a chord in the female and a part of her felt indignation at slipping this low. But she wanted glory, power. She wanted it all. This was but a small detour to get her to her awaiting throne of greatness. You will regret the day you crossed my path, you sklavin...

So the fae finally found herself to calm down and get that insipid ego of her's out of the clouds. He'd listen for awhile, it probably was in his best intrest to gain a few allies, rather than raging war on every pack all on his lonesome. That would not only be foolhardy, but would surely end in the decimation of his entire pack.
"I would like us to make a pact. A pact that speaks of our utmost alliance and alligence to each other."
His ears perked at this, a pact?, now an alliance seemed fine, but alligence to this diva? That he'd have to seriously consider. He'd courted many females before, but he could hardly stand divas. To them it was more a punishment than fun, well it was fun for him. He chuckled under his breath at that thought. He hoped that she wouldn't notice. "Of course, an alliance sounds just fine." he said in a calm voice.
"We need to have strong allies in each other; my pack is strong and yours is growing. You, as I can only assume, wish to keep slavery racing through these lands, yes?"
"Of course. Keep those filthy Sklavin in their place." he growled. If there were somewhere in the world that allowed all wolves, strong or weak to be equal it deserved to be destroyed! "Only the strong, only those born of royalty, those with the divine right to rule over land should be enabled to do so, all others should be stomped into the dirt, and made to grovel at the feet of their betters" he barked taking on a superior tone. He jumped slightly, and took notice to her new flirtatious manners, and playful demeanor.
"Are we in agreement, m'lord?"
Indeed we are he said allowing a grin to spread across his maw. "However darling, I'll let you in on one secret..." he said passing an amused smirk "You can't play the biggest player in the game. now i suggest you back down, before you make a fool out of yourself miss." he barked as his smirk faded into a serious look "I'm not a desperate sklavin for you to control, and it is most unbecoming for a lady, even one like you, to try and bribe an alpha with their body." he looked down at her with glaring crimson eyes. "Now if any of the other alphas caught onto to this shameful behavior, your name would be MUD. But I'll keep it between, us. It'll be our seceret miss Kasimira." he said nudging her back, with a devious grin.
Phantom turned his head towards the fae again "Now I'd like to discuss the terms of our alliance darling. I'm thinking, free acess to each other's land, whenever you decide to visit upon my land, you will be welcomed to travel freely, and same terms when I appear on your land. Of course our packs will be granted free passage as well, so long as it does not lead to trouble. mean no quarrels between the packs." he began. He paused a moment to think, and to give the fae a moment to come up with any terms of her own.

KASIMIRA "Of course, an alliance sounds just fine."
This stupid wolf hadn't even seen the hidden trap he had just walked over. And it was Kasimira who remained enclosed inside the bushes' leafy protection, keeping her true intentions a secret until the opportune moment to spring the trap. Oh how lovely it was! Kasimira simply dipped her head in response, a calculating glance made Phantom's way. She would remain, until peak time, his ever obedient neighbor, kindly with her ferocious nature slightly in check. She couldn't let him walk all over her just for glory.
"Of course. Keep those filthy Sklavin in their place. Only the strong, only those born of royalty, those with the divine right to rule over land should be enabled to do so, all others should be stomped into the dirt, and made to grovel at the feet of their betters"
Rage of emotion overcame the male and Kasimira was delighted. He neither saw her expression of pride, of sly plotting nor her mock roll of her eyes. Heck, she planned on granting Calliope her freedom--even though that was for a special purpose. Kasimira had decreed no slaves were to take mates. But if the ebony she-wolf wanted pups and additions to her pack, and loyal additions at that, she would have to bend her own rules and dignity to get what she wanted without doing the whelping herself.
Inwardly the female felt a small tinge of happiness at the thought of small puppies growing inside her, the precious innocent children of her own superior bloodline. She had yet to find a suitable mate however, and the liter would not see daylight if all of the blood was not exceptionally royal in relations and kin. It was with a huff that Kasimira returned to her flirtatious doings, cerulean eyes no longer wistful, but passionate as she attempted to play with the male's bold emotions that slightly reflected her own.
"Indeed we are. However darling, I'll let you in on one secret... You can't play the biggest player in the game. Now I suggest you back down, before you make a fool out of yourself miss."
"Excuse me, but who said anything about playing?"
I'll make a fool out of you! Anger coursed through Kasimira as she stared dumbfounded for a moment, a screen of innocent behavior plastered up over herself as she tried to regain her calm composure. How could he deny her like that? She was the queen, the Alpha female who defied anything to get in her path. He should be bowing down at her royal paws at this very moment! The venom seethed through her mind and body, immobilizing her as she hastily tried to find something to say. But the brute beat her to it, his eyes flickering distaste for her actions as he spoke to her.
"I'm not a desperate sklavin for you to control, and it is most unbecoming for a lady, even one like you, to try and bribe an alpha with their body. Now if any of the other alphas caught onto to this shameful behavior, your name would be MUD. But I'll keep it between, us. It'll be our secret miss Kasimira."
Not a desperate, rugged sklavin? You could have fooled me. Kasimira only barely held back the response, her eyes blazing with discontent. He acted like no brute she had met in her life. Obviously, he had never actually gone steady with a female before. Zy, with all his charming good looks, was such a good flirt it seemed to Kasimira that she had mistakenly picked the wrong wolf to play with. Still, she felt half complemented as Phantom's creamy muzzle nudged her back, an almost ambiguous way to shade his real intentions. Kasimira's eyes glittered insincerely as she apologized; there was no truth to what she said and he would know it.
"I was merely thinking," rambled the she-wolf as her eyes shifted. She needed to choose her words carefully. "I was thinking about us leading together. Regardless, it was out of line. Excuse me."
Kasimira narrowed her blue orbs as she stared at Phantom, a soft smile playing on her lips. He'll miss me when I leave. As Phantom's voice lifted to the topic of pact terms, the black she-wolf's eyes closed, mind musing over the possibilities. She had nothing specific to add; being allowed passage to these lands whenever she wished pleased her to the core. What bothered her was allowing this brute on her beautiful lands. He seemed quite misleading with his actions and his words were even worse off. Still, the vixen grudgingly agreed, nodding her head for visual agreemnt.
"That sounds lovely Phantom. I couldn't have said it better myself."
It was a half effort of a lie but the negligent male before her wouldn't know the difference. With a curt dip of her head Kasimira spoke her final thoughts.
"Will I be seeing you again?"
Kasimira shot him a questioning glance. He would know she was being serious at this point; or as serious as she could manage. Let's see what he thinks of that.
