Endless plains beneath her paws. Through the bitter snow, from the hottest plains, and quite at moors and rainy days. She continued on her journey seeking those who cry out for freedom. Many has she sought out and freed. And her heart weighed down by the loss of those she couldn't. But that was the way of the wild, a dog-eat-dog world that neve fails to burden her heart more and make her weep salty tears for those who could not be helped, for those who had no chance.
That was the way, the life of Misha. How many days has it been since she last made contact with anyone? When was the last time she freed a slave wolf? How long has it been since she last spoke an encouraging word to those she could not save? Days, weeks even. Misha had not seen anyone since that last time. And it still hurts her like a thorn in her heart.
She had been on a life mission to help those who couldn't help themselves, to be the voice for those who where mute. She understood better then anyone the horrible life of a slave. She's known heart ache more then she should have, then anyone should have. So here she was right now. Making her way towards the unknown lands infront of her. Her once graceful and elegant pawsteps now dragged on the ground wearily from exhaustion. She's pushing herself far too hard lately and she's paying the price right now.
Tired, thirsty, and too troubled the red maned wolf continued traveling. Her ears perked up suddenly at the faint sound of water running, lost of water running. A faint smile twitched at her muzzle as she made her way, hopeful and a bit more chipper towards the forgiving and welcoming sound. Not only would water be found but her soul coul finally be at rest. It did not take her long to get to the destined spot. Her long legs covered more ground quickly and she soon felt the coolness of the ground beneath her paws. More comforting then the grass she had been traveling on nonestop. She wouldn't be surprised if her paws where bleeding!
Giving a soft melodic laugh she eagerly made her way forwards. The mist and water droplets of the waterfall sprinkling her red coat making her sigh in pleasure at the cool touch. She had no site to look upon the beauty of this place. But it did not mean she needed eyes to feel the aura around this place. It was comforting for her and she allowed herself to relax. Lying her lithe frame down beside the pool of water she closed her stunning gold eyes and allowed her new found sanctuary to lull her into a peace she so desperately needed.

The woods were quiet, methodical almost, before a golden blur recklessly fixed himself around trees, around bushes and others of the like. Tearing across the ground without restraint, threading into silence and yanking away. He left each as soon as he came, a whisper of wind, a shuffling of frost from the cool night before. It had been a few weeks since Regnen's last dismantling, and yet the uncontrolled, wild freedom still enthralled the previous beta. He was prone to moments like this, such racing and thudding through the forests for the sheer joy of doing it; in some sense, after his imprisonment as a sklavin, he needed it.
Today the air was warmer than it had been for the past few weeks. Winter's grasp seemed far away with such a balmy temperature and Phrino had woken up with an itch to go swimming. And so, without anyone to report to, he'd swiftly left his makeshift den and headed out. His paw steps now grew closer and closer to the falls with each placement, pulling him across the land greedily. It had been so long since he'd run like this, challenging the wind and battling for speed with extension and recoil, a spring across the rolling pine forests. He'd gotten close enough now that the fall roar was faintly audible and he sucked in air as he pounced forward, half tempted to throw a howl to the skies.
The falls drew within sight and Phrino continued to force himself on, legs churning fire from within. Considering the water before engaging would have been wiser, but the khaki wolf simply blinked twice as he covered the distance between the far bushes and the pool's edge, closed his eyes, and pushed off against the pebbled ground. Water rushed over him, consumed him, pulled him. Phrino, in all his excitement, struggled against the water to reach the surface and finally broke with a pant on his lips. The current threatened to suck him back under but he growled dismissal and paddled steadily to the edge, clamoring out with a contented sigh.
It was then, from the corner of his vision, that he realized he was not the only one visiting for a dip in the crystal waters. Without pause he turned to face the other wolf, suspicion fading as he took a few steps forward to greet the sole female. She was a type of wolf he'd seen very few of, and her auburn-spiced coat caught his eye immediately. Sizing her up and throwing on his flirtatious demeanor, Phrino made an shoddy attempt at introductions, even for his taste. His upper body leaned down and he cocked his head inquiringly at the female, tail wagging excitedly.
"Wanna play with me?"

She enjoyed this moment so very much needed. Her tired body slumped comfortably against the cool stone as she dreamt a dreamless sleep. In the faintest of consciousness she heard the patter of feet. But in her sleep and exhausted fogged up mind she couldn't react as fast as she wishes it. Before she knew it a giant splash was heard making her instantly alert and jerk he body in a half sit up position. Her head jerking to the side at the sound. Her entire body was tense in surprise and brief fear. I mean sure she could take care of herself but Misha was blind. Only so much she could do in battle. When the presence spoke, she heard a deep voice that could only indicate one thing, male. She blinked blindly a moment at him. To where her head was turned but she showed no indication of acknowledgment. It took her a moment to realize he asked a question. "Oh. Umm hi there!" She gave a hesitant smile. Normally she would be quite happy to meet a new person. But with being so exhausted she couldn't think properly or act it so even more. She cocked her head to the side and blinked a few more times in thought. Unaware of the male's actions even if his voice indicated his intentions. "Play? And pray tell," she laughed softly. "What would we play?" She questioned with amusement as she 'stared' at him with half lidded eyes. Unaware of how tempting or flirty she may have unintentionally looked. »Image

"Oh. Umm hi there!"
From the get-go, her hesitancy was all too obvious, almost palpable, with that half smile and a lack of acknowledgement. Absolutely confused, Phrino quirked an eyebrow and watched her carefully, taking in the lack of focus she presented him with. Was she all there? Her responses where lacking in something, but he couldn't quite place a paw on it...
"Play? And pray tell, what would we play?"
At this, the female's eyes half-blinked and Phrino took a few intrusive steps forward to get a better look at her face. It was then that he noticed the glassy orbs, the smoke color, lack of normality. So she was blind. Well, that explained the odd behavior. With his mouth open to speak, Phrino paused, slightly unsure of how to follow up now that he'd caught onto her handicap. With a shake of his head, he shook the insecurities away and resolutely decided to act like he hadn't noticed.
"Well, we could start with introductions. And then we could move on to some exploring, if you're into that thing."
The term 'exploring' was left vaguely enough to indicate either honest forest adventuring or more primordial, sexual exploits, depending on which way she deemed acceptable. She seemed willing enough by body language standards, but he wasn't sure if she was totally aware of how she was coming across to him. So instead of pushing the idea as he normally would have, Phrino grinned wide and hesitantly offered a paw out to the female as a will of good gesture, before realizing that she wouldn't see the motion. Awkwardly, he tried to backtrack by shuffling his paws together and talking to cover his mistake.
"My name's Phrino."
His eyes slid over her feminine frame once more and he faintly felt a warmth rise from between his legs. At least she wouldn't be able to see that. She can probably smell my excitement though, he reminded himself idly. Pausing, Phrino considered the female before he moved. Slowly, ever so slowly, he leaned forward to brush his nose along her cheek, his mood affectionate yet cautious.
"What do they call a pretty thing like you?"

Despite having no eyes to see did not mean she did my have other senses. She wondered when he would finally get she was blind but still stayed silent to the matter. She chuckled at his suggestion and nodded. "Introductions are best indeed I should say. Exploring what though?" She questioned tilting her head cutely. Not like she would be able to see anyways but hey they never stopped her before. She heard his shuffling around and smiled slightly. He thoughts being reverted when he spoke his name. "Phrino." She spoke testing his name on her tongue. "I like it. It's a good name." She complimented with a bow of her head. His next actions where unforeseen as she felt his nose cautiously press against her cheek making her flush in fluster meant. "My name is Misha. It's a pleasure to meet you Phrino." She murmured back as she tilted her head slightly so her nose brushed against his lightly in return of his affections. "I'm not from around here so I really don't know where to go or where I am at the moment." She commented turning her head back front where the water ripples infront of her. Lowering her head down to lap up at the cool water. A few droplets caught in her whiskers but she didn't mind. "What about you Phrino? Where are you from?" She asked shifting so she would be able to 'look' at him and not seem rude by staring off somewhere she didn't mind being blind since she had been born blind. But she didn't want her first wolf contact to be awkward. She knew when she didn't make direct eye contact or how her eyes seemed to stare into nothing it made people nervous around her. Treating her delicately regardless of how long Misha had taken care of herself. »Image
