Everywhere he looked there where wolves either being cattled together to be taken as slaves or dominor's who want to get a slave. He hated it with a passion. This wasn't his first rodeo coming to this place. Ever since he was old enough to be taken he was brought here over and over again. Growing from the weak and fragile looking wolf to a halking male with scars he received over the ages. From a small pathetic thing to a almost warrior like noble in the way he carried himself.
Indeed he was big. Standing at the biggest height for a Himalayan wolf could get. And he was proud of that fact. His entire demeanor looked like a battle worn champion despite his true story. Slave or no slave Valor was a proud wolf. And by his scars where an untold story; he wouldn't go down without a fight.
He vaguely wondered if he would be taken by someone today. He hated that thought but it wasnt unnatural to wonder such things. That's all a slave really thinks about nowadays and it only ticked him off even further knowing these wolves had lost their fight.
The light tan and black wolf glared as he was shoved up onto the platform and stood like a good boy he wasnt to wait for his decree. His hung down and staring out at the crowds. but it wasnt out of submission. far from it. you could tell by the way his muscles where tensed and ready to spring. he had no problem tearing out the throats of every single wolf on this place. Same thing every time. His face looked impassive if not bored. He looked more like an aloof type but his intelligent eyes burned a molten gold that snapped fiercely in defiance as they scanned the crowd of wolves.
"Here stands one of our best prizes. He's a fighter alright and is full of trouble. So much trouble he call him Rebel!" The wolf jeered. "But be careful with this one. He's more intelligent then he looks."
Valor closed his eyes and took a deep breath to stop any words he wished to lash out at the wolf auctioning him off before opening his golden eyes once more to reveal them impassive and indifferent as they scanned the crowd from half closed eyes.

Donavette looked upon the Sklavin, their bodies moving together as one single body. He could smell their disgusting stench, as it crawled up his nose and into his head. He snorted lightly to rid himself of the scent. One by one, the wolves were presented. Some of the Dominors liked to get right up there to be able to observe them; but not Donavette. He was far to pristine to go down in the urine, and feces infested canyon. He watched from on top, flicking his tail in boredom. He heard the announcer, his loud voice echoing along the canyon walls. Donavette turned his head, slightly intrigued at how the announcer presented this particular wolf. Donavette perked his ears, taking notice of the devil dog that had crawled on stage. The slave, it seemed, was not much younger tahan Donavette himself. He was lean and tall; but there was no mistaking the power he possessed. His muscles were quite pronounced, being strained to their max it seemed. He was attractive, too.
Donavette stood, looking at Freeli. "He looks healthy, capable. Don't you agree?" he asked his previous master. The older wolf scoffed, turning her maw away.
"They all look the same to me. It's your choice." she said tiredly. The heat took a lot of her energy away. Donavette turned his attention back to the lovely specimen. He barked sharply, alerting the announcer that he was wanted. The announcer waited for objections, before motioning for Donavette to come down so that they may discuss the deal. Donavette licked his maw in anticipation, climbing down the winding walkway to were the announcer stood. Freeli followed him, close behind. As they reached the bottom, Freeli left with the announcer to take care of the trade while Donavette walked to the platform.
"Come down from there, wolf. We have somewhere to go." Donavette said, smirking.

Valor continued glaring at all of the dominors in the crowd. Vibrant gold eyes scanning like liquid fire to each. His gaze happened to stray up towards where one particular wolf stood with another. He was no much older then himself and carried himself like a prince. At first he mistakes the wolf for a female. But clearly by the way he carried himself made him more male then female.
His noticed the wolf's attention on him and gave him a upturn snarl at him in defiance and challenge. As if daring him to say anything. Valor had been sought out but never bought by the dominors before. He made quite sure of it. He didn't expect the she-male to be any different.
'Bunch of high pompous attitudes as if they rule this world' he thought bitterly as he glared at Donavette. He blocked out all the other voices and just stated at him. Challenging him to do something. Something so beautiful in a brutal way yet so untamable at the same time. Valor clearly may look the part of belonging there. But his presence certainly didn't. He was a leader to these slaves. Their only hope. But that's what they say at least. A king born within the lowest of ranks.
Valor slowly lifted his head; eyes never leaving Donavette's and gave him a lazy smirk as if to say 'Try all you want, you fool. But You can never and will not tame me.'

Donavette wanted to return his snarl, his lip twitching. Up close, he noticed the wolf was a bit taller than him. Like the other slaves, he was dirty and stunk to the high heavens. The smirk on the slaves face slightly infuriated him, but he calmed himself down. "You don't intimidate me, so try as you might." Donavette said, confident in taking this male home. Donavette absently scrunched his nose, hating the stuffy smell of decomposing bodies and waste. He took another glance at the male, and said out loud, "You'll need to clean up when we return home."
The mid-afternoon heat was hot on his back, and he refrained from panting in front of the slave. He internally sighed. He did not want to fight now, in the middle of this canyon of decomposing bodies and waste. He would, though. Donavette was mighty persistent, and he had already set his sights on this particular slave. He waited for his new slave to comply with his orders, ready to get home. When the slave never moved, his ears turned back slightly in frustration, his teeth baring. He may not look menacing in appearance, but his personality was fierce. "Listen, I don't want to drag you out of here, but I will." Donavette said lowly, his rust colored eyes trained on Valor.
Donavette was growing increasingly angry, flies were swarming around him and he felt filthy. This was not a place for him, yet here he was. If he'd gone this far just to pick up a slave, the slave better be worth it. In this case, he felt that he had been stupid enough to try and break a rebel slave. He couldn't back down now, though. No, not now.

A brief look of surprise flashed within the depths of gold when Donavette gave the indication that he was taking him. What what?! Not happening! No no no no! All this time Valor had successfully scared the dominors away....and this one had the guts to stay? Even more so claim him! Valor's eyes narrowed dangerously. He was no one's slave!!!
He had to take several long breaths through his nose as he looked infuriatingly at the smaller male. But he was soon shoved off the platform and moved to stand by his new master. Master, just the very word made him sick. And staring at the smaller male as he bared his fangs, ah tough supposedly menacing didn't come out that way in Valor's shocked mind.
Finally his face slipped into his stoic features ones more as he stared blankly at Donavette. He would not bow to him if that is what he wanted. Not in a gazillion years. Rebellion flowing thick in his veins. But still he did not comment or speak. Merely stood a few feet from his new master. Oh how he was planning the male's demise in so many creative ways. Ok, maybe he's a bit of a sadist but hey, that's what happens to someone who's lives in the slavery for practically his entire life. Tends to change the way you think. Oh but is Donavette going to get a surprise. Valor's inner beast grinned wickedly at the images. A small smirk tugging at his slips.

Donavette felt minor satisfaction in seeing the slave shoved. That should teach him. He had calmed himself, at least they were progressing, even if it was not good progress. He noted at how the male was not speaking to him. It was aggravating to say the least, but whatever. Donavette could play that game too. He watched the wild slave carefully, seeing emotions flit across his face in a hurry. Shock , anger, and disdain were all very prominent on the slaves face. It was amusing. "If nothing else, tell me your na-" Donavette paused his words, hearing Feeli approach behind him. She wasn't fairing well, he noted. The blazing sun was hard on the both of them. They both had insulated fur, which meant to keep their body heat regulated. Alas, from living in the hot weather for so long neither one of them had the natural body thermostat anymore. They both suffered from their heavy eternal winter coats, and it just made Donavette more ready to get home.
"The deal is sealed. Let us go now." She said, turning and heading back up to the top of the canyon. Donavette turned to Valor. He looked at the devil dog, his nickname for the slave until he found out his real name, and wondered briefly what kind of horrid things this slave had been through. The unbroken were the worst off, in a place like this. If you were not obedient, you were beaten. This slave must have immense strength, spirit, and faith to have survive as a slave this long and still be fighting. He shook the thoughts away. It was silly to think of a salves past.
"You heard the lass, didn't you?" Donavette asked, motioning for Valor to move on up.

He glared at the male when he noticed his amusement but didn't say anything to it. He maybe a rebel but he knows a thing or to. He turned to look at his new master as he began to speak. Oh so he wished to know his name? Tough luck for him; Valor refused to talk. Better let him think he was mute instead. Regardless even if he did want to say his name the second wolf he saw with Donavette came up with those dreaded words making him grimace. It was one thing to know yourself that your getting sold off but actually hearing it being said is a whole new matter entirely. He blinked when he noticed their discomfort and openly smiled smugly at that. Unlike them, he had a lighter coat so he wasnt too hot. Still pretty warm but not to the point of about to pass out.
Rolling his eyes at Donavette's bossy ways he trodded past him after the older female. Eyes scanning the area around him as he went. His steps halted when he got closer to a group of certain slaves. Those where in his group. Jeez what would happen to them now with him gone? Who will look after them if he wasnt there to guide them? His plans have failed hasn't they? Completely ignoring Donavette and Freeli the Himalayan wolf changed courses so he could go to his group. Stopping beside a small little wolf who he used to look after. He gave the small little guy, although like a year younger seemed a whole lot more in an age gap with the circumstances. Valor gave him an encouraging smile and head butted him gently before giving the others a look of farewell. This, this is the only time he would allow his hard facade to drop just for a few moments; revealing his caring side. His fellow slaves where his family...what where any of them going to do.
huffing the scarred male trotted back over to Donavette and Freeli. "Lets Go." he finally spoke, his voice a deep baritone that was smooth and silky even in those two words. he didnt care if they got mad at him for ordering them around when he was the slave. he knew all of them where eager to leave the rocky canyon; he merely just kept on marching on with his head held high and a determined glare on his face. He refused to look at either of his companions for their reaction to his unguarded display and instead focused on the journey ahead.

Freeli snorted, her ears turned towards Donavette and Valor. Donavette could have chuckled at the she-wolf's unspoken sarcasm. Freeli, while his mentor and previous lover, was also his dearest friend. While he believed greatly in his own potential, he could not imagine a life without Freeli by his side. His deep care for her brought on the irritation from Valor's disrespect, and he curled up his lip in warning. He did this quietly, as to not alert the female. He had learned that if he wanted to punish one, he had to do it quietly. Freeli herself had a fleeting mind, always distracted by something else. She forgave easily; but Donavette was not.
They walked a long ways; Norden being far North of Auktion Rock. Donavette spared a glance at their new slave; eyeing him up. The devil dog was quite attractive, if Donavette did say so himself. He was delightfully tempted by the younger males brute like personality, and it wouldn't be the first time he'd have a master slave fling. She mentally shook his head. Now, now. Pletty of time for that, Donavette. It's not like he's going anywhere. Donavette would have snickered at his personal foot note, but he stayed quiet. Though Freeli had some slaves, they were all being traded for other necessities. Now that Donavette and her had more land, they needed more capable slaves.
As the day wore on, the trek seemed to get easier. The notion that they were returning home was very refreshing. Donavette was usually very stuck up and pompous, but as his life continued to get better he felt rather giddy. So happy, in fact, he didn't mind talking to a slave whom he'd normally turn up his nose to. "Are you ready to talk yet?" He asked. Whether he wanted to talk or not, they were almost home anyways. Donavette may as well try. @valor

He was far too deep into his thoughts that he didn't realize his new master sizing him up. He wouldn't have cared either if he had. Nor was he insightful of Donavette's intentions. Valor was more worries about his new home. His new life. He may act all brute like but deep down behind the facade he was quite worried right now. He never had a master before. He was always independent even for a slave. A leader. But now with a new life approaching every step he took forwards made his head hurt with all the possibilities. A quick glance to the pair by him told him one thing. The female was snappy and moody it seemed. And she was quite distasteful about him. And Donnavette was more of a; lets call it. Princely attitude. It made him cringe just imagining what he would have him do as a slave.
His thoughts where snapped from dreamland and focused on Donavette as he spoke. Again with the talking? What did Mr. Prince want him to say exactly? 'Oh hi I'm your new slave and I'll be catering to your every whim?' Not happening. With a sigh he gave Donavette a bored look that reflected how tired he felt. Not in the sense of exhaustion merely tired of the circumstances brought to him.
"Valor." He replied in his deep rich like baritone voice as he returned his gaze to the path ahead. "The name's Valor." Frankly he figured he he should give them male his name at best. He didn't feel like being called pet names. But he knew there would be a few thrown in anyways. This wasnt to say he wanted to get all buddy buddy with his new master. But Valor knew if he was to get anywhere; no matter how much he despised the idea, he needed to communicate with him. Find some common boundaries so that they could live in relative peace with each other. 'Give respect if you wish to earn respect back' he had to keep reminding himself of that. But his patience a was thin.

Donavette was mildly surprised to receive an answer. He looked at Valor, more amused at his begrudging tone of voice. "Ah, the devil dog speaks. To be honest, I wasn't expecting an answer from you." He said, adding the nickname just rile him up. Freeli laughed from up ahead of them, and Donavette was glad she found this funny. The trio walked in silence for a long while, Donavette very content with life. They were entering Norden territory, and the white alpha glowed with pride at their beautiful territory. The relentless sun still beat down on them, and while it wasn't particularly pleasing for him or Freeli, their territory sparkled. The cold winds started forming frost on the foliage. So the greenery was frozen and somewhat wilted, but it promised new life. It was stunning to look at.
"It's breathtaking, is it not?" Donavette breathed in the fresh spring air, watching as Freeli did the same. She did not show it, but she was quite taken with the place. This land was the fruit that the couple had bore, the result of their hard work and toil. Donavette looked back on his days as a slave, when Freeli had taken him in, when she mentored him in the art of becoming a Dominor. He was fond of those days, but he liked the present too. He was glad to be here, returning home with his new slave. He'd always felt victorious; but now he felt something akin to triumph. His glazed over eyes showed how far off he was thinking, and he eventually brought himself back to the now.
"I'm Donavette, if you didn't already know. She is Freeli." he introduced, as they wandered into the meadow which was the heart of their land. "Welcome to Norden." @valor OOC: sounds good! <3
