From the ice inside my soul"
this is me in the flesh,
NAME: Loba
NICKNAME(S): Amira (by her father ONLY)
PRONUNCIATION: Lo-ba
POSITION: Currently free-roamer, though I'm planning on having her as a slave at some point
taste the sky,
AGE: 2 years
GENDER: Female
BREED: Grey/Timber Wolf
HEIGHT: 30 inches
APPEARANCE: Loba is quite a pretty wolf. Like her fellow Grey/Timber wolves, she's built for stamina, with long legs and a thick body. She's pretty much the tallest female of her species you'll ever meet, as she towers over the smaller males and most females. She isn't very strong, physically, with a build meant for aything other than fighting and only a small amount of muscle anyway, she can barely hold her own in a fight, normaly winning by tiring her enemy out and attacking with a steady stream of swift attacks. Even so, the way she holds herself gives off an air of danger to those who attack, her paws always planted firmly, her head always high, her back always straight. She looks like the wolf you wouldn't want as an enemy, but wouldn't ask to be allies with either. Her fur is mostly a silvery-grey colour - flashing to white and dark grey occasionally throughout her fur - but dappled and streaked with darker colours, like dark grey and black. This dappled effect continues until it reaches the top of her legs, where it stops and fades through light colours, like silver, white and pale grey. By the time it reaches her paws, it's flashed to pure white, white her legs, underbelly and undertail are all covered in a mess of white, grey and silver. The dark dappling effect on the top of her fur spreads down across the top of her tail, covering her chest and face/head/ears also. Her eyes are a clear, cold grey, holding the fire inside her, though hidding it often behind the heartless look she does so well.
thoughts that make me go insane,
PERSONALITY: Loba is cold as ice yet fierce as fire. The burning fire in her eyes, the heartless manner in which she acts, her loner instainct of 'look after yourself first, others later', all point the what lies behind this wolf's simple outside. Her personality(ies) are complicated and intrecate, and depending on what mood she's in, depend which side of her you get. Shall we list them? That's probably the easiest way.
- The shy one: When you first meet Loba (when she knows you won't kill her) she'll be generous, kind and shy. She won;t say much and will keep herself to herself, though this mood doesn't last very long (at least not normally) and is probably the nicest. This is normally only used around strangers or cats she used to know, but now doesn't. If she hasn't seen you for a long time, this is her personality choice. One wrong word can change her mind though, so be careful what you say. Teeth hurt.
- The 'normal' one: Now, once Loba gets to know you a little, she'll drop the nice act and turn into a laid-back, playful, pup-like she-wolf. She's be secretly secretive and won't answer questions about her or her past, or anything really. When she's like this, she's normally quick-thinking, shapr-tongued, sharp (in general) and a little protective of herself, so she can come across as aggresive. This is the most used personality and the one she shows to most wolves (whence the 'normal' in the title) but even so she's a little dangerous when in this mood, as the smallest thing and set her off.
- The 'slightly annoyed' one: Once you've said something to get on Loba's nerves a little, she'll change from her happy(ish) personality, to her snappy, grumpy, short-tempered one. This one is also quite dangerous, so be careful, as most things she says during this 'phase' can be done, and will be done. Her body is quite willing to make the checks her mouth and mind are paying, so tread carefully around her in these situations.
- The angry one: Oh. I forgot to say something. Loba has like... minor anger issues, I'd say. Basicly, she can get angry very easily, and, when she does, she lashes out, with either claws and teeth, or words. Now, her angry 'phase' is when you've pushed her so far, that she 'snaps' as she puts it. She can lash out physically, attacking the nearest living thing. Not to kill, or to injure, but mostly as a warning. She'll restrain herself (even if she wants to rip you to shreads) and will attack you as a warning, to say 'I can do worse, if you aren't careful' in a way. If she doesn't attack with you with teeth and claws, she'll attack you with words - and words of lightning too. Remember her quick-thinkingness? Well, she's also very observant. She'll find out everything that's wrong with you, before really knowing you, and, if you make her snap, she'll use that information to throw as many verbal insults at you as possible. The strangest part? She won't shout, or growl, or anything along those lines. She'll speak, in her normal voice, as say as though she was having a normal conversation. Yes, Loba is weird. By now stretch of the imagination is she your average wolf. You'll just have to live with it, because she isn't changing.
- The REAL one: Finally, Loba does have a real personality, though it isn't normal. Nope. 'Course it isn't, this is Loba we're talking about. Her average personality, is quick-minded, short-tempered, easily-angered, sharp-tongued, defensive of herself, argumentative, competitive, a little aggressive, not afraid to say what she thinks, doesn't care what others think about her, fierce, fiesty, easily wound up, come-back queen, fiercely protetcive and loyal once you've earned her trust (and that takes a looong time), secretive, alert, observant, occasionally spiteful or bitter, independent, tactful, free-thinking, a little controlling and determined. Yep, a lot to take in there. She's very strange.
Loba can be a bit of a rebel, possibly from her life of being carefully looked after. She likes to take the dangerous route every now and again (for everytime, one or the other), so it isn't adviced to follow her everywhere. She can have a tendency to drag wolves she trusts along on the 'fun' expections, usually ending in a little blood and two very bruised wolves. Her doing this is a sign of affection though! I promise! If she does this, you really are in her private circle. Loba doesn't suit the role of a slave. No way. She's free-thinking, shrort-tempered and easily annoyed. She doesn't think about what she says, and says what she does think anyway. She's too fierce to go down easily, too strong-willed to be controlled, even a little too contolling, to be a slave. She would talk back, insult, and quite possible fight her master, without thinking it bad. She would never own slaves for herself (though she is a little controlling). Loba has no motherly instinct for any wolf who doesn't share her blood, but she will be fiercely protective of her cubs and won't let anyone near them. Even the father. Thank God she's a free-roamer! For now, at least XD
all over my shoulder,
FATHER: Estrella
MOTHER:Cielo
SIBLINGS: Lobo (brother)
HISTORY: Born to two passive free-roamers, Loba was always a fighter, from the very beginning. She was born along with her brother, Lobo, and she was by far the runt of her parents, Estrella and Cielo's, small litter. She barely survived, bing nursed back from the brink of death by her mother and father. Even from a very young age, she was given the title 'Amira', meaning 'princess', by her father, who also gave her brother the duty of protecting her throughout her life. She was protected and pampered by her parents and sibling, even thoguh she ached to run free and live life to the fullest. Her mother, Cielo, was beautiful and graceful, her pale fur shining in any sort of light. Estrella, her father, was tall, muscled and dark-furred. Loba is a clear blend of both of her parents, while her brother took after their father much more. And, for a little while, life was normal for Loba. Other than arguments with her sibling, she lived a relatively calm, uneventful life for around a year. Then, everything changed. While Cielo went off for a walk, Estrella 'entertained' his two cubs. For hours, Loba, Lobo and their father played games and ran around, pouncing on leaves and branches. These games soon turned to extra lessons, eventually ending in all three wolves piled on top of each other fr some unknown reason. Estrella decided to look for Cielo, who had been gone longer than expected. He took his cubs with him, but walked ahead, fearing the worse. He also found the worse. His mate, killed by some sort of animal, lay dead on the floor. He took his cubs away too mourn Ciello's death, but Loba was having none of it. Though never especially close to her mother, the young she-wolf felt responsible in some way, thgouh even she didn't understand why. After a heated argument with her brother and father, Loba ran away. Like, seriously ran away. Her plan was too finally get what she'd always wanted - a life free of her family's constant protection - and the best way to do that was by living alone. Becoming a free-roamer, lone-wolf style 1 year old she-wolf, Loba lived alone for a long time, barely surviving by herself. After fleeing her second 'home' due to other wolves (whom she had no intention of making contact with) she ended up moving closer to the packs of wolves. For around a year, her life has been farely empty and she has survived fairly well. She hasn't seen her father or brother since she ran, but, unbeknown to her, they are still searching for her and her scent, desperate to find her. They are also getting warmer.
