K A S I M I R A The stillness of the meadow swayed before Kasimira as she stood outside her den, watching the white blur as it hobbled and raced towards the border. Gone. He was gone. Just like that, the blink of a blue eye, the swish of her tail as it dropped behind her. Pain rippling across her frame, Kasimira restrained the whine that rose between her teeth and slowly walked back to her den. As much as she didn't want to lay in the depths of the dark alone, she didn't really see any alternatives at the moment. The rest of the pack would be rising soon, and they'd wonder where all the blood droplets came from... With the world still swirling beneath her paws, the black female flattened her ears and slunk into the cold, restrictive comfort of her den.
