KASIMIRA As dusk fell upon the land, it seemed a hush grew over the field, the grasses melting into shadows, the bird's sweet chirping drifting off into soft melodies of the night. A coy wind played with the meadow flowers quietly, flipping their lean stalks back and forth, the white petals dancing to the siricco's fancy. It was then that a ashen shadow sauntered into the valley, ears perked as the waterfall rumbled on to the west. The she-wolf's name was Kasimira and she stood in an almost regal stance as she surveyed the land before her, black nose twitching with the new scents and aromas of her home.
Drifting in from other countries and packs of less status, the female had traveled many miles; an attempt to move on from her birth pack, an attempt to start her own life. She was tired of taking care of her younger siblings with the way they pestered her to play pup games and frolick in the fields of her pack's territory; they were blissful and simply unaware of the dangers beyond the boundaries of her packmates' protective snarls. She would heed their calls and plantive whines no longer.
With a howl that rang across the hillsides before her, Kasimira staked her claim, challenging anyone to keep her from ruling this land. The sound rose as she grew more confident, only plunging back down as curiosity overcame her. The female trotted forward, her long ebony legs pumping through the grasses of her new home. Glassy blue eyes inspected the terrain as she made her way forward, instinctively headed towards the waterfall that she had noticed earlier from a distance. It roared louder as she got closer, spray and the scent of fresh water rushing over her from nose to tail-tip. After a fewmoments, her velvet voice lifted, soft and menacing, almost secretive.
"Now the fun begins." [/size]
