HAYASHI
"Cause I'd rather be caught dead, than be weak,
And in my last days I'll still be standing strong ,"
And in my last days I'll still be standing strong ,"
this is me in the flesh,
NAME: Hayashi ( Japanese for forest )
NICKNAME(S): 'ashi.
PRONUNCIATION: hay-AH-shee.
POSITION: Dominor.
taste the sky,
AGE: Five years of age.
GENDER: Female.
BREED: Gray Wolf.
HEIGHT: 30 inches at the shoulder.
APPEARANCE: Striking, tempting, beautiful, she is. With fur as soft as silk, and features warm and friendly, Hayashi is sure to attract anyone.
Her coat is a blend of soft cream and white. A white mask covers her muzzle, running up the bridge of her nose to stop inbetween her light blue eyes. A white line leads down her neck to spread out over her chest and under belly, blending into the honey-cream of her torso. Her two front paws are also white, along with the tip of her tail and some flecks on her legs. The rest is cream.
Hayashi has a strong, thick build, and holds it with confidence and grace. Sleek muscles round the edges of her body, rippling with each even step. She moves with control, elegance, and is breath-taking in everything she does. She is built for endurance; to run, to fight, and doesn't fail to meet those standards. She truly is something else.
thoughts that make me go insane,
PERSONALITY: Like a songbird, Hayashi appears graceful, marvelous, even beautiful. But you never judge a book by it's cover.
She may be that, but Hayashi is not, in any means, timid, or weak. She doesn't give in on the first bump in the road, or give in to pain or misfortune. She has a very strong mind, and a very strong opinion. She speaks her mind, and doesn't back down to just anyone. This can make her come off as hard-headed, but she'd much rather be stubborn than incapable. She is very cautious about any wolf, and it isn't easy to gain her trust. But once you do, she's an open book.
She may be difficult, but that doesnt mean she isn't tactful. Hayashi respects wolves that respect her, and can accept others as her equal or better. She knows how to be a good leader, and when to silence her own thoughts and let someone step ahead. She doesn't like to gain enemies, and will do almost anything to keep someone from disliking her. But if she doesn't like you, however, that's a different story.
Hayashi is very emotional, and can easily feel envious or aggravated or upset, and can seem delicate and frail if she is. But if you push her buttons, it won't take long for her to go off. She's very controlled and mature about those situations, but not all the time. She won't stand to be mocked, pushed around, belittled, or mistreated. Therefore, she can get quite angry and aggressive.
Hayashi can be sweet and selfless, under all the steel. Not to any wolf, but to the right one. Loving, gentle, and soft spoken. It's an almost unseen side of her, known only to few wolves like Xercese and Micara. It's hard to imagine a strong leader to be so enamored.
Sometimes, Hayashi is a hard wolf to see eye to eye with. She can be humble and gentle, but also unreachable and flustered. But she knows how to handle herself and other situations, leaving her likeable as a leader and a good wolf.
all over my shoulder,
FATHER: Kabir.
MOTHER: Mialyn.
SIBLINGS: N/A
HISTORY: Hayashi was born to two loving parents out in the east, but she never got to know them as well as most pups do. When she was young, her pack was ambushed by a stray band of dominors. They killed without thought, they destroyed anything in their way, and they kidnapped the young. Hayashi just so happened to be one of these stolen pups. They dragged her away, kicking and screaming for her parents, who lay dead on the ground.
She grew up with these ragtag wolves, and the few pack members that had been stolen with her. They never stayed in one place, and Hayashi never had a place to really call home. They lived a very cautious life, always on the prowl for unsuspecting packs to attack. She had to witness the slaughter of many innocent lives as a young wolf, not to mention her own torture as well. The leader had taken a fancy to Hayashi, and wanted to make her his. Despite all of her efforts to get away, he would mount her and beat her and no one asked questions.
The dominors had a feeling someone was following them. Paranoid, they came up with a plan to disperse so they wouldn't get caught. They dropped Hayashi and the others off at the Auction Rock, and they split up in different directions. Hayashi was free, but not so much. Now, she was in a new territory, and was terrified.
At the auction rock, a lone wolf with the name of Xercese came up to her. She didn't know what to say to him. He wasn't flinging rude comments at her like the others, but was actually treating her like a wolf. She didn't trust it. Could he be tricking her? Would he beat her down when she followed him into the woods? She had nothing to follow but instinct, and somehow, she did it. He offered to take her away from here, and that's all that mattered. Hayashi walked after the brute, confused when he said he didn't have a land yet, or slaves, or anything else. Was he starting anew? Or was he really not cruel?
Xercese claimed a land, easily stealing Hayashi's heart throughout the night. She couldn't help but fall for him. When she fell, she fell hard; and she was only glad he liked her enough back. Later that year, Hayashi and Xercese had puppies together. They had already begun to start a pack, and she was glad to watch over their land while he went and retrieved more members.
She was Alphaess, she was happy, she was free. And she was doing fine until she stumbled into Mirage. A twisted sensation always coursed through her veins as she thought her name, thought what she really could do to her life. Mirage came between her and Xercese, her and her pack, her and her mind. Hayashi couldn't think straight with her around. She never knew why she had a reaction as such, but it was there. Her anger was haunting her.
Life continued as planned, though. Everyone got a long fine, even Mirage. But then, Xercese vanished. Trying not to panic, Hayashi decided to give him a few days for him to return, but after a week, she still hadn't seen his face. She panicked. She felt as though he took something with him, a part of her. She couldn't concentrate on anything, and had to deal with Mirage mocking her in her subtle ways of her loss. Hayashi tried to ignore the wolves coming into her life; Malou, Remorse, wolves who passed by; anyone. She didn't want to be hurt again, she couldn't trust again.
And then he came back, just like that. She was confused beyond belief. Why did he leave? Why was he such a mess? Her happiness couldn't shine through her empty shell. She didn't know how to react. He still loved her, she knew. But she wasn't sure at first. He seemed like a different wolf, distant to her. Hayashi had just finished a fight with Malou, so her mind was muddled, and she was in physical pain, too. She continued blocking everything out.
And he was gone... again. She couldn't explain the numbness that followed. And after, everyone left. Even Mirage. Her puppies... gone. Remorse, Malou... gone. Xercese was gone. And she only had one option. She left her land, trudging to the Auction Rock. Back to being a slave. Back to the torture. Back to the pain. Back to her nightmares.
Hayashi stumbled through the auction rock, her mind blank, her feelings muddled. She felt betrayed, alone. And scared of being a slave again. And as she was being pushed around by a future buyer, she saw Micara, and old pack friend. Something from her past. The feelings that rushed through her at that moment they locked eyes, was unexplainable. She felt overjoyed, but pained, ecstatic, but cautious. And was Xercese with her? Could she handle seeing him?
They left the auction grounds together, leaving a mess behind them. They catch up on the way, sharing experiences after the pack broke up. The pain they both felt. As they ran, the bumped into none other than Xercese. Hayashi was stunned into silence, and she could only watch as Micara spoke for her, as Mirage showed up at the clearing also. And could only run as Xercese chose Mirage, over her.
Thats the last memory she has of her mate, her lifelong partner. Of any of her pack members. She doesn't like to think of her past, and doesn't dwell on what could have been. She could have spent the rest of her life with Xercese, with Micara. But her stupid heart had got in the way of that, her frail heart that couldn't handle the pain that came with seeing him again. Hayashi wandered to new lands, the lands of Ravensbruck. She vowed to herself to start anew, to start strong, but her pain still grows.
