OOC Hey! It's Ruki! :D Been workin' on a new skin, which is why I haven't posted much, and it's finally done! Mostly anyway. Change it to Umber Fields and you should see all the fun. There are bound to be a few kinks in the display, so please tell me if there's anything wrong, or if something just looks odd to you, like if the font's too small. :C I'm thinkin' it might be. Staff ppl should pm me with 100x100 icons. Also the mini-profile circle images are 125x125. I thought they were 100x100 at first, but no, I forgot about the circle border edits. |D Couldn't have gotten it done without the codes from the people in the credits, so silent shoutout to them. Staytuned for more weird updates. Might do some re-arranging of the boards. Anywho, hope you like it!
OLD: 4/04 Ruki says: NEW SEASON! Spring has started! We might start advertising places again now that midterms are over for all of us, and posting is back up. Not exactly OOC news, but Enheit Alpha Sinead has PUPPIES. If you wanna adopt the last one, the adopt thread is HERE! Ody and Raven have their own rules for this, so read them and adopt a pup if y'all want. SPRANG BRAAAAKE.
2/26/15 WHY HELLO! Guess who it is again. Ruki. I've been busy condensing rules and tips into a handy updated guidebook here on THIS PAGE! with the help of my fellow staff buddies. It's super important to read and make sure you get all the fun info down. The newest rule is about ALPHA ACTIVITY, so be sure to read the Lands and Territories section. The gist of it is that yall leaders gotta post once a week. If you don't POOF. No more land for you. This is a new rule, but if you haven't posted within the next few days and haven't been active in a while, you best get on that 'cause yo' land's 'bout to be snatched.
IC Spring is here at last and the land is beginning to flourish with new life once more. Young animals are plentiful and slowly others are rousing out of hibernation. April showers rain down, and springtime flowers are budding out from their winter beds. SPRING will last from April 1st - June 1st
With twilight draping across the landscape and the stars twinkling in the great heavens above, Marzell's blue eyes blinked watch from under a ragged tree. His sister sleeping soundlessly beside him, the black male surveyed the area closely, his ears pricked for anything that might constitute a quick move. It was rather risky of them to sleep on a pack's lands unannounced, but with the nearby scent markers weak and his bones even more so, the pair had decided it was worth the risk. Tonight, with Iudex's luck, the lands would remain wholly silent.
After moons of searching, Marzell had finally struck luck and been reunited with his sister. The pair of them, giddy with finding the other, had spent most of the autumn days exploring on their own, skirting from land to land, neither one quite ready to return to the expectations and guidelines that the Irrsin pack would most assuredly provide. Marzell himself was strictly opposed to returning on the basis of Dresna's coronation. She would without doubt be the appointed heir by now, and after ruling Norden for a short stint, he hardly cared to turn tail at his sister's beckon and call. Besides, he'd been gone from his birth home for almost a year, and the land's trails and trials had worn hard on the young adolescent. Sometimes he hardly recognized himself and he wondered vaguely if his family would even know who he was, should he set foot back in those sweet meadow grasses.
For the meantime, however, he found himself nestled down into a dip in the ground, snuggled tightly against Adelina's raven-wing fur. The creamy tips of her ears were the only visible part of her in this looming darkness, and Marzell sighed contentedly as he listened to the overhead hooting of an owl. Nighttime was one of the most beautiful things he'd learned to enjoy during his travels; He found he could always find his way by gazing above, always able to locate some semblance of relation in those distant glimmering specks. They made him feel both insignificantly small and wildly powerful at the same time. During these midway hours, t felt as if he could reach into the blackness and simply scoop out a pawful of stardust--and honestly, who could not be swayed into a lull by their sheer cosmic drift at these late hours? His breath was cold and visible against the gathering backdrop but, with his heart finally settling into a comfortable framework, he didn't feel the chills that brushed his coat. Lost in thought over his sisters and his long forgotten pack, Marzell was only oriented to studying the vast openness with unbridled curiosity.

Daleia had been ordered to take rest for the end of the day, Fenrir standing within the den tunnel system, keeping a close eye on the sklavin to make sure she was in bed and out. Once he was satisfied that she was asleep the large male set out, making his way along the rock wall's ledge and then slinking off into the forest around the frozen falls. He walked at a steady pace, keeping his head held high so that his golden eyes could scan his claimed territory, looking for any trespassers. His ears were perked up and angled away from each other to get a better field of sound from the forest, his nose also going to work, picking up scents a slow breeze brought, brushing aside the usual.
The Regnen General was finishing up his final border marking, having left a section earlier in the day to have a snack Daleia had brought then took a nap afterwards. Once this border was finished Fenrir would feel more secure about the land, his lips curling into a wicked toothy grin at the thought of wolves crossing the freshly marked border and his fangs sinking into their flesh. He couldn't wait to see the surprise on their faces, immediately regretting the second they thought they could pass right through without any trouble. The man would not show mercy, oh no, he would make sure to teach them a lesson.
Nearing the unmarked section of his land Fenrir noticed something, a scent that had not been there earlier, and didn't belong to his dear little Daleia. “Hm... interesting.” He rumbled with a raised brow, his head lowering to get a better whiff of this, no, these unknown scents on HIS land. Keeping his nose right on the trail, the large wolf weaved between the trees, golden eyes flicking upward so that he didn't end up walking right into a tree. Steps grew heavier as he got closer, the scent growing fresher, unable to prevent the quickening in his pace now while hot on the trail.
It wasn't till he was just a few feet away that Fenrir finally found the source, golden eyes wide in pleasure at finding the wolves huddled up beneath a tree. His head tilted almost ninety degrees, his expression changing from interest and to that one of what some may call disturbed. It didn't help that his jaws had parted, lips pulled over his canines in a creepy smile, tongue hanging out the side. “How adorable! Cuddle up little wolfies, wouldn't want to catch cold.” He cooed, tail wagging in excitement, taking a single step forward.
