Heroes and legends are one in the same,
It was winter in the lands of Ravensbruck and Irrsin's local troublemaker was at it again. Everyone back home seemed to be busy with their own affairs, which left plenty of time for Zy's tiny mind to succumb to the temptations of boredom. At first he placated himself with dropping snow off the overhang as unfortunate wolves, such as Tortuga, walked to and from the dens. It entertained him for a few goes until he hit the ice queen herself. Kasimira, in spite of her winter-themed name, did not appear amused by the gold-flecked male's antics, and proceeded to spend several minutes verbally berating, and in Zy's opinion a theatrically amusing way, his previous actions. She then told him to go do something, probably menial and tiresome, and on his way to his destination, Zy completely forgot the activity he was supposed to do. After his mental slip-up the male had two options. One, he could go back and ask Queeny just what it was she wanted him to do again, which would probably wind up with Kasimira giving him yet another verbal scolding with the addition of some physical abuse, orrrrr he could continue his pointless wandering and deal with her snootiness at a later time. Considering that Zy was now somewhere in the Schreien Forest, his decision was probably obvious.
As he weaved through the towering bark covered pillars his bright amber eyes glanced upwards toward the dense canopy. The midday winter sun splintered through in shafts of clear light and made the forest alight with sparks of brilliance. He always thought the forest looked quite lovely this time of year on account of the twinkling dust which settled upon its residences' branches. Every so often a beam would glance off one of the many ice shards clinging to the plant life above and send miniature rainbow fractals out to frolic briefly before dispersing once more. Like a cat with a laser pointer, the playful male chased the bursts of color throughout the forest, pausing sadly whenever they disappeared, and pouncing eagerly when a new one was spotted.
Eventually, after unknowingly following his prey deeper and deeper into the maze-like forest, Zy realized he had ventured into unknown territory. Feeling a twinge of panic set in, he sat down and pouted at a nearby leafy companion. "This is not cool Mr.Tree. I trusted you, and now look where you got me. We're so not friends anymore." As if in response to his accusations a blob of snow fell abruptly on the male's flecked dome. He hastily shook his head, sending the chunk tumbling to the ground. "Ok, ok. I'm sorry.", he mused jokingly as he placed a paw on the tree's trunk. "It's all good. I'm not really mad. But you mind helping me out a little bit with some directions?" As if in response, the wind moved the upper canopy just enough to let a defined beacon of light shine through. "Aww, you're the best." Happily, Zy headed off in the direction his floral friend suggested to him, knowing that his buddy would never steer him wrong.
Even though he trusted the "advice" the tree gave him, Zy couldn't help but worry a bit as the clouds began to cover the dwindling amounts of sunlight that seeped through the branches. Zy, being the brave adventurer that he was, definitely wasn't afraid of the spooky dark forest or anything. No, he'd never be reminded of the tales told around wanderer camps to scare the pups by the situation he was currently in. After all, he was a grown adult, not some yearling welp. Right? Riiiight. To take his mind off the lurking shado- I mean boredom- he started to roll a small snowball with his nose as he walked. Gradually it got bigger and bigger until it was about the size of a small melon. As he stopped to admire his useless and rather unimpressive creation, gravity had other ideas for his spherical masterpiece. He watched in dismay as the snowball rolled down a rather steep hill and continued on without him. Not wanting to lose his creation to the spooks of the forest, Zy immediately jumped down after it. Sliding down the hill turned out to be pretty fun, at least until he spun around backwards and smacked into a tree. The sudden vibrations created by the male's impact caused a mini avalanche of snow to fall down on top of him, burying everything except his front paws and confused head in a mound of white. He squirmed and wiggled under his cold prison, but discovered he was sadly trapped. "Helloooooo?" He yelled out into the empty forest. "Once again. Your fault" he said as he strained to glare angrily at the tree. The only thing Zy could do now was hope someone would come across and save him from his own stupidity.
ZY Don't you know, it's just how you play the game TAG: ⋆RavɛnNOTE: I guess we'll post for a bit and then ody can join later? I think I have an idea, but we'll see how it goes. C: I missed posting with Zy. <3 Also tell me if this table is readable.

DRESNA
TEXT | SPEECH | THOUGHT
It was embarrasing to admit, even to herelf, that she felt foolish. Like a pup who’d childishly believed in some wild fairytale, Dresna moved with a brisk sense of irritation, glad that her actions hadn’t been noted by anyone else. Once again she had crept from the borders of Irrsin to return to the falls, hopeful that she would find a certain gray-and-white mottled brute waiting before the clear pools. And, once again, he was not there. There wasn’t even a trace of his scent Dresna had dully noted, and now the she-wolf felt more naïve than ever. She felt no strong desire to return to Irrsin, not when the skin beneath her plush white fur was crimson with her shame as she remembered the single evening she’d spent with him. She’d given him everything so quickly, perhaps hoping for the perfect love story that her parents told, and she’d been sorely disappointed.
Gnashing her ivory teeth in frustration, she turned away from her path, veering deeper and deeper into the foilage until she was skirting around the smaller territories and waltzing into the depths of Schreien forest. The snow had fallen heavily the night before, leaving the world blanketed in a sheet of pure white. There were various birds calling above her, fluttering from tree to tree, and a plump hare burst from the underbrush nearly right beneath her feet. She did not bother with the creature; she’d eaten before she’d left Irrsin early that morning, and after her disappointing journey, she wasn’t feeling particularly hungry anyways.
On and on she wandered, sometimes in circles but too irritated to care. She would find her way out later when she was ready. For now, she welcomed the sensation of being lost, kicking violently at piles of snow here and there. She hadn’t dared mention Eneko to any of her family or packmates, and she was glad of it. They would have sneered at her, called her foolish for falling for the rogue vagabond with the beautiful blue eyes and the muscular body…
Shaking her head to clear her thoughts, she turned away from the trail she’d been following, before stopping in her tracks. There were paw prints in the snow beneath her, too large to be her own, that lead off to the right. Curious and foolishly hopeful, Dresna followed the telltale marks until they abruptly trailed off at the base of a hill, giving way to two long skid marks. Dresna carefully picked her way down to flatland, snorting as she glanced around. As abruptly as they’d appeared, the tracks had disappeared, leaving Dresna nothing short of baffled…until she spotted a familiar tuft of fur jutting out of a pile of snow.
”Zy?” She questioned, certain once she spotted the bright orange eyes. He was trapped with only his head and paws visible, and any shock Dresna might have felt to see the sklavin so far from Irrsin was erased by pure amusement. She couldn’t contain the musical laughter that burst forth from her muzzle, her blue eyes sparkling with mirth. No matter where she found him, Zy was always in some strange predicament, and today had been no different.
”How in the world did you manage this?” She asked once her laughter had died down, moving forward to begin digging at the snow. She was cautious not to sink her claws into his flesh, and after a moment, the rest of the pile gave way to reveal Zy’s body. Still giggling under her breath, Dresna stepped back and lowered herself to her haunches, waiting for what she was sure would be a wild tale.

Heroes and legends are one in the same,
TEXT || TALK || THINK Sitting under a mound of snow gave a man time to think. And even though most would never consider Zy anything close to a man, it did force him to consider a few things since he had nothing better to do with his time. His mind wandered to the endless 'what if' scenarios pertaining to his current situation. What if no one found him? Would he turn into a glorious hunk-cicle to be found and thawed out centuries into the future to be heralded as a god? Or maybe he'd just fade into obscurity and become one with the tree he blamed for all of this. He decided he liked the first option better, as unrealistic as it may have been. When Zy considered the perks of being a future beacon of pure sexy, a horribly distressing thought crossed his mind. "Man. I'm gonna die during one of my longest dry streaks since... forever." Had he any movement in his limbs he would have struck a dramatic pose as a single tear of manly distress slid down his cheek.
Hearing his name called out by a familiar voice drew the fading male back from the brink of his overactive dramatization. "Snowball! Boy am I glad to see you!" He flailed his trapped paw nubs happily in the snow and barked excitedly. Truth be told, Dresna was the last wolf he had expected to see this far out from Irrsin, but he was nonetheless thrilled to have a savior. Truthfully, he should probably be more worried considering he was a simple sklavin and she was the Alpha's heir, but hey, he knew the little mini-tort could never stay mad long at his antics. It looked like today was no exception since as soon as she realized who it was trapped in the snow a mirthful laugh filled the once quiet void of the forest. Zy couldn't help but join in the fun at his own expense. "Shouldn't I be the one rescuing the princess, not the other way around?"
Slowly but surely the noble heiress freed the court jester from his icy bonds, while also asking him just how he got in the state he was in. It wasn't a secret that Zy's curiosity and stupidity often got him into some odd situations, and this one was no exception. The Irrsin pups, albeit at their mother's disapproval, always seemed to enjoy his stories of adventures gone wrong, and who was he to deny any sort of attention. "Well... you see..." He began as he stood up shaking his pelt and sending powdery snow flying every which way. "There I was, minding my own business, enjoying a winter stroll through the forest, when suddenly there it was...", he paused for 'dramatic effect', "A forest Spook! Stealing my snow sculpture! I tried to chase after it but it disappeared and pushed me down the hill." Zy feigned an obviously fake hurt expression. "Then it trapped me in all that snow. But you showed up and saved the day. My little hero." The last part he enunciated in a sort of sing song voice while affectionately nuzzling his head into Dresna's neck-fluff.
"Speaking of which. What're you doin' all the way out here anyway. Trying to bag yourself a man like your mom did?" The charcoal male threw his princess a coy smirk and strutted around mockingly, trying to imitate the foxy swing Kasimira had in her gait. Truth be told, he was honestly surprised that Dresna hadn't brought back someone to Irrsin or even mentioned an inkling of it to anyone in passing. It's not like she wasn't pretty, hell Zy felt like a creepy uncle half of the time even thinking of it. Maybe she was just in need of some flirting advice from the casanova master himself. Even though recently his game hadn't been as on-point as it once had been, it didn't mean anything to the male's confidence. "I make one hell of a wingman you know. If you're interested." He arched one of his golden brows in a silly seductive manner to emphasize his point. "Oooh. Or we could try to find the mysterious phantom of this forest. I've heard he might be pretty handsoooom~" Zy's orange eyes glinted mischievously before welling up into a pitiful puppy like expression which he directed at Dresna. "Come onnn. We should go Questventuring." It had been a while since he'd had any sort of traveling companion, and a day of adventure into the woods with a princess seemed like a pretty fun afternoon in his opinion. Plus, if the rumors were true and there really was a hunk of a wolf just lurking out in the forest, it seemed like the perfect prize to quest for.
ZY Don't you know, it's just how you play the game TAG: ⋆RavɛnNOTE: Adventure time, come on grab your friends~

DRESNA
TEXT | SPEECH | THOUGHT
If Dresna had thought that she would be disappointed by Zy’s story, she was sorely mistaken. He wove an impressive tale of forest spooks as she dug him out, and when she’d finished she sat back and watched him with an amused eye. As he butted his head against her, she grinned and nipped playfully at his ear, her sour mood quickly departing in the wake of his silliness. Zy was always a source of comedic relief in her life, even if her mother found him less than amusing on most days. He never changed, no matter what events were occurring in Irrsin, and it was something that Dresna had always been grateful for.
"Speaking of which. What're you doin' all the way out here anyway. Trying to bag yourself a man like your mom did?"
Dresna glanced up sharply, just in time to see Zy strutting about, waggling his hips in a way that was distinctly familiar if not slightly over exaggerated. It unnerved her how very close he had come to the truth; in fact, he was completely correct, although it was more along the lines of searching for the brute she’d already ‘bagged’ – if she could even call it that. Eneko’s promise to return rang in her ears as she shook her head slowly, making no reply. Fortunately, Zy continued without pausing as he praised his own matchmaking skills, and she breathed a little easier then.
"Oooh. Or we could try to find the mysterious phantom of this forest. I've heard he might be pretty handsoooom. Come onnn. We should go Questventuring."
”Questventuring?” She asked, quirking a brow as she looked at him. He looked so hopeful and excited; paired with the fact that she wasn’t ready to return to Irrsin, she didn’t dare say no. Instead, she laughed and gave him her most daring look as she started off through the trees, weaving in and out of them without glancing behind her. It had, after all, been Zy’s idea, so she had little doubt that he would follow her. She had no idea where she was going, but then again, she doubted that he did either.
A flock of sparrows pecked at the ground before her; she leapt for them, startling them into flight before shaking the snow from her fur and glancing over her shoulder in Zy’s direction.
”So, handsome phantom, eh?” She asked with amusement. She could never quite come up with stories as elaborate and silly as Zy’s, so she played along instead, arranging her features into excited curiosity. ”Think mother would take any more kindly to him than she would a living wolf?”

E N E K O Crunch, crunch, crunch, was all that had graced his auds for too long this day. The snows beneath his paws seemed oddly uneven, soft and powdery some places and near hard as stone in others, as if the Gods couldn't make up their minds. He never knew when he was going to plummet halfway to his chest or skid atop the white stuff and where he could, Eneko took the path of least resistance. Why was he all the way out here? His journey north and westward from the deserts of Einheit had been fruitless and in recent months the brute had thought his habit of wandering had dimmed somewhat, only to find his paws sweeping away from the one place he'd ever called home. They'd taken him up the lands first, stopping at the falls where the flash of snow-white fur had graced his memory. She hadn't been there, though, so he'd continued on. Feeling only slightly perturbed, aimless as he often was, perhaps he looked for a distraction in the common method he'd grown used to. It had been many months since his short time with Dresna and he had yet to fulfill his word. He'd told her he would be back swiftly - which at the time meant no more than a few weeks - only to be caught up in his endeavors with Sinead. And now? Now he could quite possibly be a father soon, coming and going to feed hungry pups and lesser his own desirous apatite. Sinead had captured his attention and the majority of his affection long before the white female had ever made a presence in his life, but he still felt obligated to prove himself at least half honest. As much as he loved the company Eneko didn't like the idea of being thought of as merely some heartless, wandering brute seducing innocent she-wolves and twisting lies. And... and he still had time before his firstborn came into the world. And still, for all his perceived morals, as time passed he was finding it more difficult to hold fast to his word, as desperately as he tried to. After his brief failure at the falls his current quest was not for Dresna. Eneko didn't know what he was doing so far from Einheit besides looking for another soul to spend the night with. Maybe this time he'd stick to his promises. Or, maybe, this time he'd find a female that didn't care. Perhaps he had compiled too many that had. If only he'd known this was the day he would stumble upon the one he should have searched for long ago. The voices came muffled through the forest, loud enough to pause the brute but distant enough that he couldn't make out the words. But they were most assuredly there. One was deeper, obviously male. The other... the other! The whispers got clearer as he neared. Except, they were no longer so quiet but full in his ears, one of them caressing him in a startlingly familiar way. Eneko breathed in sharply, holding, and when the cold air finally left his lungs in a cloud of vapor, he was on the move. Though he had only tasted it once before he would know the scent as if it were his own. It curled around the area, into his lungs and skull and filled him with relief and a flood of excitement. So strong was it that it held the power to sway his mind enough to the point he completely disregarded that there'd been someone with her - that there was a male with her. With budding eagerness that was only mostly sprung from desires, the male trotted through the trees with haste. For how long he moved he did not know for his mind swirled with the fact she was in his reach. Why was it difficult to grasp? Somewhere off his path cried a hoard of fleeing sparrows taking to the branches and skies overhead and it was with this that he stopped a moment. ”So, handsome phantom, eh? Think mother would take any more kindly to him than she would a living wolf?” It came to him through the struggling undergrowth and snow. Mother? He considered the word long enough to recall how young Dresna had been when he'd taken her, how young she still was, and the very fact she'd told him she belonged to a pack; a pack she could very well be with now. This was easily disregarded in the moment, however, and the corner of his maw tugged upwards at the mention of a handsome phantom as if she were subconsciously beckoning him here. It was in this moment that he lurched forward to reveal himself from the heavy woods. It was easy enough to zero in on her pretty white form and Eneko noted immediately that she'd grown into herself since last they met. And her eyes... goodness, his heart lurched into his throat at the suddenness of it all. Perhaps he should have considered the prospect that she might not have wanted to find him on her path, but he would not play the fumbling or regretful lover. He had not come all this way to do nothing... even if his search for her had waned. There was a dark figure ambling after her but so solid in his own surety was Eneko that he disregarded the presence. Instead he fixed the she-wolf with that familiar and mischievous glint of the eye, striding forward with enough confidence for a hundred wolves. He slid boldly around her, his own side brushing hers. "It hasn't been so long, Dresna. Already searching for some handsome phantom of the wood to replace me?" He held no claim over her, no right to be offended if she was searching for someone else. There was yet a hint of irritation over the idea but despite it, he smiled good-naturedly. Surely she had not forgotten him. "Or, perhaps, the phantom from your past? Could your mother disapprove so much?"♆

Heroes and legends are one in the same,
TEXT || TALK || THINK A question followed by an adorable laugh was all the answer Dresna gave before darting playfully into the brush ahead. Zy moved to chase after her, but stopped abruptly as memories of the she-wolf and her siblings surfaced. Usually it would have been Marzell who'd be his mischievous side-kick into misadventure, but he hadn't seen the brute since after the fire. At first, Zy simply shrugged his emotions to the back of his mind, attempting to deal with them via sheer ignorance. Up until recently he had held onto the delusion that the two missing welps were simply just that, missing. He'd hoped that one day he'd stumble upon them giggling behind some boulder or fallen log, just like he would when they were kids. But as the months wore on reality slowly seeped into Zy's being. It hadn't been very difficult to accept the loss of many others in Irrsin, especially Kyren, but Marzell and Adelina were a different story. He didn't want to admit that he'd become attached to the little puffballs he once envied for attention, but it was the truth. He was brought out of his stupor by the sound and sight of tiny sparrows scattering into the distance. "Hey, wait up 'Rez!"
As she yelled her question back at the scrambling male he couldn't help but laugh at the truth of what she'd said. Kasimira's expectations were notoriously high, especially for little Dresna. He could hardly see her majesty accepting anyone but an absolutely perfect specimen for the princess, so he wasn't sure what she'd think of a 'phantom'. The Queen couldn't possibly say he was unremarkable, that's for sure. And if she did deem him unacceptable, well, he figured Irrsin would be struck with an influx of floating dead rabbits, or something equally 'spooky'. Now that would be something he'd love to see.
Zy overheard another voice during his haphazard dash forward that was distinctly male. "It hasn't been so long... replace me?" Wait, replace? That implied they'd met before! So distracted by this realization, Zy didn't even see the brute in question before he barreled straight into him, knocking them both to the ground. As he lay there dazed and confused, which was nothing out of the ordinary for Zy in the first place, he finally regained enough composure to realize just what he ran into. A playfully flirtatious smirk crossed his golden dappled maw. "Oh... Howdy handsome. Snowball didn't tell me we had company." Nail'd it.
ZY Don't you know, it's just how you play the game TAG: ⋆Ravɛn Ὀδύσσεια♐NOTE: Short, but ok hopefully. Wasn't sure where you wanted Zy to end up, so he can be on top of Eneko, or ended up tackling Dresna instead, or off to the side being a goof, or tackle all three. Whatever. c: Ody votes on Eneko. DRESNA
TEXT | SPEECH | THOUGHT
So intent was Dresna on her trek that she did not notice the third addition to their party. On and on she went, tramping through the snow, until suddenly there he was, stepping from the trees like a ghost newly arisen from its grave. She froze, the laughter dying in her throat, her smile sliding from her muzzle in her surprise. Eneko. Unlike Dresna, he did not falter as he spotted her. He strode forward boldly, his side brushing against her, sends millions of tiny sparks fluttering along her skin. Beneath her thick white fur, she could feel her skin flush hot, warming her from the inside out despite the crisp cold that swirled around her. She’d spent weeks hoping for his return, dreaming about it, and just when she began to lose hope, there he was.
"It hasn't been so long, Dresna. Already searching for some handsome phantom of the wood to replace me? Or, perhaps, the phantom from your past? Could your mother disapprove so much?"
For a moment she could not move, could not speak. All she could do was stare at him in disbelief, anger and relief battling for a place in her heart. To turn away from him now would be foolish; already she was recalling their very intimate time spent at the base of the falls, and his voice was like a lovers caress, long anticipated and sorely missed. She took a single step away from him, and finally she found her voice.
”I wasn’t expecting to see you here,” she said softly, her voice a strangled mixture of desire and accusation. It was frustrating how easily he seemed to steal the thoughts from her skull; he was far too intoxicating for his own good, and Dresna felt as if he knew it.
”We were hunting phantoms,” said Dresna after a moment, before belatedly realizing that ‘we’ implied she was not alone. Zy, she thought belatedly just as a dark streak came barreling from behind her, smashing right into Eneko. The two tumbled to the ground in a heap as Dresna leapt backwards, a spray of snow landing at her paws.
"Oh... Howdy handsome. Snowball didn't tell me we had company."
Zy’s bumbling approach along with his flirtatious introduction was the icing on the cake. All of Dresna’s pent up confusion and frustration bubbled over, and unexpectedly a laugh escaped from her muzzle, clear and ringing. Her blue eyes shone with unexpected mirth as she seemed to gain her confidence back in one fell swoop, a charming smile tugging at her lips as she crept forward to stare down at the heap of limbs that was Zy and Eneko.
”We found the handsome phantom, eh?” She said to Zy, tail wagging back and forth slowly. ”This is Eneko.”
She looked to Eneko then, head tilted to one side as she gestured to Zy with her nose. ”And this is Zy.” She offered no elaboration; why tell him that Zy was like an uncle to her, especially when he’d disappeared and left her in the dark for so long. She had grown since then, she’d matured, partially due to the night she’d spent with him. It had been a sobering experience, and one she wasn’t soon to forgive him for considering how easy it had been for him to separate himself from her. Zy, she thought, was payback. She could only imagine just how uncomfortable the playful sklavin could make Eneko feel – it was a show that she was eager to watch, and perhaps it showed in the smirk that spread across her muzzle as she stared down at Eneko.
”It’s about time you showed your face again.”

E N E K O Through all of Dresna's obvious hesitations, the momentary shock to adorn her pretty features, Eneko was not expecting her to step away from him. One moment she seemed sinking into a sea similar to their initial interactions and the next, discovering her wits before she could reach bottom. He was greatly amused by her sudden ability to resist him, the minor steeling in her gaze, for it meant he affected her. The small recoil only solidified the fact and with each tiny step from him, he took an equal one toward her. Perhaps he should have been discouraged by the hesitation but suddenly thrust back into his element, Eneko was determined and soaking in the state of her tension and confliction. She need not give him anything yet the brute was adamant in their closeness and having the chance to explain himself. He'd genuinely missed her. He was sure some part of her felt the same. ”I wasn't expecting to see you here,” there is a flavor of accusation to undertone the words. It stung only slightly, a prick on his skin that was easily brushed off like a speck of dirt, even if the brute honestly couldn't have blamed her if he'd tried. He should have gone searching for her sooner like he'd said he would. Should have dedicated himself to live up to his promises like he always told himself. I don't want to be like the rest of them, swaying hearts and shattering them. It was almost a cruel joke that it was only upon his brief relent to failure that he stumbled upon her. She could have been anywhere in expanse of Ravensbruck, she could have been dead for all he knew, and yet here she was standing so gloriously before him. It was a shock, truly, but he would not falter. "I wasn't expecting to see you, either." Another step forward, the brushing of his muzzle into her neck and then, "We were hunting phantoms." It was at this he halted, abruptly remembering the dark dot he'd seen through the trees and the other voice from before. He pulled his head back with the sudden turn of his skull when that same flash manifested in his peripheral. The turn of his body came exactly at the moment of impact and Eneko didn't have a chance to plant his paws more firmly to the ground. Before he could even yelp an exclamation Dresna's companion had barreled him to the forest floor, reduced him to a tumbling form of limbs and complete surprise. When the motion finally stopped he was displeased to find himself pinned below the dark-coated wolf. An immediate, unsavory blend of fear and anger set in, his lips pulling back with the flash of teeth for all he could think at that moment was of an attack, that perhaps he'd provoked her packmate with his boldness. "Oh... Howdy handsome. Snowball didn't tell me we had company."...What? A breath he'd been caging escaped him in a whoosh, eyes blinking once, twice, three times and he appeared completely nonplussed. He'd never been stripped of his layer of infinite confidence or set off his game so effortlessly in his life. Eventually, somehow in the span of many seconds he recovered enough to regain control of his body, though perhaps not his whirling mind. In one swift movement he was lurching and on top of the other male. He snarled down at him once before stepping away to assess the situation. Zy, he tasted it once and hated it immediately. "Zy," finally he acknowledges it out loud after prolonged silence, turning his flicking gaze on the smaller male with nothing short of countless accusations and animosity. What was he to Dresna? Eneko knew he didn't have any right to hold claim over her, as much as he wished he did. Realistically it would be impossible for him and Dresna to create a future with the recent events back in Einheit. Don't bring any of them back. And he knew he wouldn't betray the trust of Sinead. Yet still, his heart beat a little quicker whenever he looked at her and more still when he thought of her eloping with this... thing. "What are you looking at, Zy?" He wanted to growl at him again, ask him what business he had with the she-wolf. In the end Eneko knew he had to be mindful and keep a level head, as difficult as the task might be. ”It’s about time you showed your face again.” This is what he got. He'd left and lost out and if she was angry with him well... Eneko thought her in the right, honestly. Still he lifts his head, quirking a brow as his paws carried him towards her once more. Each step built back his layers even if his head was abuzz. To hell with the strange brute with her. He was desperate to know of her standing with him, desperate to regain control over himself and the situation. "Don't hide it Dresna, you're as happy to see me as I am to see you," he purrs, shifting a blue gaze to the other male and back again to Dresna as he pauses alongside her. It wasn't a lie on his part, at least. He couldn't say he was as happy to see her with a companion, though. "Does he know of our time together? Of those delicious sounds you're capable of making?" Eneko knew he was possibly stepping too far too soon, though he was sure to keep any of his own accusations out of his tone. Sure to remain nothing more than curious to anyone who couldn't see the turmoil roiling in his chest. This was his game, his specialty, even with as winded as he felt. ♆ NOTES: ;o eneko no like zy | WORDS: 896 | TAG: ⋆Ravɛn ¿℟ᵿҝɸ

Heroes and legends are one in the same,
TEXT || TALK || THINK
Accidentally pinning down an attractive yet clearly peeved wolf was not something Zy expected he’d do today. He was honestly surprised they met anyone else this far out into the woods, let alone a young stud like this one, who seemed to be familiar with Dresna in some way. The two of them stared blankly back at one another, his bright orange eyes locked energetically with the other’s pale blue. Suddenly, as if the fallen male had finally broken out of a trance, Zy became the one wedged into the snow. The grey and white brute snarled aggressively as he forced his weight down on the Irrsin local’s shoulders. For a moment, Zy thought the male was actually going to bite him, but the action ended at a threatening growl instead.
Just as the tension reached its peak, Dresna’s laugh dispersed the negative atmosphere. ”We found the handsome phantom, eh?” He smirked suggestively up at the ‘phantom’ in agreement. “I’ll say.me-owww.” The other male was larger than Zy, which he could tell clearly from his current angle, and seemed to have the musculature to back up his bark with a crushing bite. Strength was definitely an attractive attribute. Thankfully, Dresna halted Zy’s train of thought with names. “This is Eneko. And this is Zy.” After the much needed introduction Eneko reluctantly released the other from his clutches. The stranger’s pale blue eyes still smoldered as the charcoal male rolled his way upright, ungracefully shaking snow from his pelt. The venom with which Eneko spoke the other’s name was nearly caustic enough to melt the words in the air. Somehow, without even trying, Zy had gotten under the brute’s skin this badly. It couldn’t have just been from the collision. Sure, he never said sorry, but apologies for things like that were implied in the first place. No, there had to be something else at work here… but what?
"What are you looking at, Zy?"
More hostility from grumpy-scruff over there, how fun. Zy thought it was pretty obvious what he was looking at, considering since the impact he’d only glanced in Dresna’s direction once to make sure she hadn’t been knocked somewhere. “Oooh, feisty. I can see why you were so mad about bein’ on the bottom.” He snickered mischievously as he winked in Eneko’s direction, making no attempt to play down the innuendo.
Whoever this guy was, the princess didn’t seem too thrilled with him, but not exactly angry either, as she pulled the whole sarcastic “good to see you again” bull. Eneko countered by trying to call Dresna on her bluff and saddling up beside her. "Does he know of our time together? Of those delicious sounds you're capable of making?" That statement caught Zy’s attention and his expression morphed from mild interest to full out bemused grin. So that’s why he’s so temperamental; the guy and Dresna did hook up in the past. “Talk about territorial guy syndrome, this dude has it, bad.” He didn’t know how long ago it was, nor if Dresna still held any feelings for him, but god, if playing up jealousy wasn’t one of Zy’s favorite pastimes. He couldn’t resist. “Oh my. Sordid secrets from behind the scenes of royalty. Kudos to you Princess, he’s definitely a looker.” His amber orbs glanced up and down Eneko’s frame as he circled the pair once, licking his ivory canines suggestively. “But, if I could make a suggestion, I’d go for someone who has space for you and your privacy in his tiny head. This one’s a little too willing to just throw all that out the window for his own ego.” Smirking, he continued. “I mean, could you imagine it? He’s willing to spread your bedroom hijinks to a total stranger, what’s stoppin’ him from tellin’ Tortle? Or heaven forbid, your mother.” Genuine laughter escaped his gold-flecked maw at the thought. "I'd fair better in front of her than this guy." Oh, how absolutely mortifying that’d be to poor Dresna. This was turning into a real romantic comedy moment, and Zy was enjoying every second.

TEXT | SPEECH | THOUGHT
The tension in the air was nearly tangible as Dresna cautiously watched the two, although naturally none of said tension radiated from Zy. On the contrary he seemed thrilled, barely bothered when Eneko leapt to his feet with a snarl. Briefly Dresna considered the possibility of a fight; she could not let Eneko harm Zy, not when she was technically responsible for the sklavin’s well-being while they were away from Irrsin, and yet she would be no match for Eneko. It wasn’t as if she had any desire to fight him, anyways – no, her desires concerning the male were entirely different. She released a soft breath she hadn’t realized she was holding when Eneko finally stepped away from Zy, his abrupt words ringing in her head. Still, however, Zy did not react aggressively. He shot back a perverse reply that had Dresna’s brows raising in amusement.
And then as quickly as Eneko had forgotten her existence he remembered again, turning to saunter towards her once more. Dresna took another step back, and then another, ears flicking back against her cranium as Eneko spoke. "Don't hide it Dresna, you're as happy to see me as I am to see you.” She frowned but did not deny it, for she would be lying if she did. She was thrilled to see him, truly, although she would not show it yet.
"Does he know of our time together? Of those delicious sounds you're capable of making?"
All thoughts came to a screeching halt as Dresna’s eyes widened. For a long moment her mind would not cooperate with her – she was too dumbfounded to believe that Eneko would say such a thing. Slowly the shock faded, replaced with embarrassment and…and longing. His words had brought back memories of their time together and Dresna suddenly wanted to relive that moment again and again. Damn it all, she thought with a snarl aimed in Eneko’s direction, tucking her tail tight beneath her as if to conceal what he’d already acquainted himself with. He’d roused a fire within her so easily, and as quickly as it had come, the snarl faded. It had felt odd on her delicate features anyways. She was no longer backing away from him now, her body too stubborn to respond to her brain. Can he see what he does to me? She wondered, muscles tensing at the thought, the desire torn between running away from him or to him flickering in her eyes.
“Oh my. Sordid secrets from behind the scenes of royalty. Kudos to you Princess, he’s definitely a looker.”
Zy. She’d almost forgotten Zy. Here she was practically panting after Eneko, her rage only fueling her frustrations, with a wolf who was practically her uncle watching the entire spectacle. And worse, as he continued on with his taunting words, Dresna realized he’d referred to her as Princess and named her parents in one fell swoop. Would Eneko catch it, she wondered? How would he react if he knew? And her parents…gods, if they ever found out, she wasn’t sure which one of them would be more of a nightmare.
Forcing herself to display a calm she could not possibly feel, Dresna turned her sharp gaze to Zy first, although she very seriously doubted that he would fear her “wrath”.
”They are not going to find out about this,” she informed him, hoping to hell that her words rang true. ”Besides, can you blame me? Look at him.” She glanced to Eneko and back to Zy, winking before she returned her gaze to the rogue brute, all traces of playfulness gone. Her eyes narrowed further as she stretched her neck, bringing her muzzle very close to his. ”And as for you…truly, I appreciate you informing someone who raised me of the sounds I make.” Sarcasm was laced through her words, but despite her anger, she could not help the devious smirk that followed. There was nothing she could do now but ride the waves that Eneko had stirred; she might as well have fun while doing it.
