Sinead It was good to be home. Sinead smiled with relief as she crossed her borders, the scent of her own markers flooding her nostrils. Soft sand gave way to hard, packed dirt beneath her paws, and high above, the clouds blocked out the sun. It was chilly already – winter had come upon her land quickly, and now it was here to stay. As she moved leisurely towards the dusty dens in the distance, she glanced over her shoulder once to confirm that Icarus was still following in her wake. She’d lead him silently to Einheit, careful to keep an eye on him should he try to flee but no longer keen to attempt to drag words from him. He would speak, with time. Or maybe he wouldn’t. That would only make her job easier. She led him directly past the stream, placing her body between him and the water as a clear indication. She would hold to her word, and not allow him to drink nor eat until he gave some indication that his little silent strike was over. Snorting to herself, she led him onwards, stopping only once the dens were in clear site. Here she turned to face him, her ears swiveling towards the brute as she gave her usual speech.”You saw the stream as we passed; that is the only source of water, and you will be welcome to it, when you deserve it.” She smiled slowly then, vicious as a viper, as she sat on her haunches and curled her tail around her paws. She wondered if it would strike a nerve, the way she made it seem as if he had to earn the sustenance that he required to live. If so, all the better. Maybe it would break him faster. ”When you encounter the others, try not to start any trouble, will you?”This was a rhetorical question, tossed half-heartedly in his direction. She didn’t much care if he got along with Chalandra or not, since she detested the silvery she-wolf, but if he was cruel to Merona, she wouldn’t stand for it. Absently she glanced back towards him, sea green eyes gleaming mischievously as she spoke. Her voice was pitched deceptively high, as if she were addressing a pup. She would try to annoy him, then, for it would likely be anger that make him spoke. It was always either that or sorrow, and the brute didn’t look like he was going to burst into sobs at any moment, so she targeted the former.”Now then, are you going to be a good boy and speak? Or will I still be blessed with the joy of your silence?”

The walk to the she wolf's land was a boring one, they walked in silence the entire way. The silence only led him to think, to really truly think. He knew he would never admit to the broken side of him, the part that actually cared for someone who destroyed his life. And the entire walk all he had was time to think and reflect. He had plans for his pack, big plans. Plans that involved increasing size, gaining more land. All of that was now destroyed, and the only good thing to come of it was that he was not out of his small mountain and out into the world. But at what cost? His freedom, his self worth. He always thought of himself as a king, or at least he was going to be. He was going to grow his pack large, and protect them. Maybe if he had gotten out more, he would have known he was headed toward slaving grounds, maybe he would of heard wind a black deceptive she wolf on the prowl to win hearts and capture souls. To him she was the only type of devil there was, and if he ever saw her again he would tear her throat out.
These thoughts brought more and more rage to the surface, which didn't help when they finally arrived at their destination. The sand became hard, and his large heavy feet made a thud with each step. To his side was a stream, which the female kept herself between him and it. He had indeed grown thirsty, but he would dehydrate to the point of collapsing before he let the girl win. When she finally faced him, he prepared herself for her nasty words. She seemed to be trying to get to him. And maybe it was working, especially with his temper and all the events of recent. He scoffed at the idea of deserving water. How can anyone not deserve water. He decided he would play her game even better. He let her finish her talk, and thought silently to himself about how the trouble had just begun.
Her mocking him definitely did not help his cause. His blood was boiling, and he planted his feet in the dirt, letting out a snarl.
"Mock me as you please, your time will come, mongrel. I will not be broken. "
He snapped the words out, keeping careful not to say too much. His voice was strong, bearing a rough tone, and shaking from anger. He spoke only because he felt it was time, not so he could drink her water or eat her food. He would choose to avoid such activities on his own, and seeing as he just insulted her, he doubted that would get him anywhere, anyways.

E N E K O It was far past noon when the familiar figure appeared on the barren horizon, the growing dot of tan furs easily missed if one had not been searching so readily for it. Eneko had been waiting for her arrival with a watchful eye though, searching the rocky outcrops and sands that stretched far out around him. The brute jolts his skull up with one swift move that is followed by the rest of his body at the prospect of her return. Sinead's form was still some distance from his perch above the dens but for a moment his tail still manages to sway loosely from side to side in a brief display to greet her. If only he had been keen on another unknown presence and a shape in her wake, its routine might have continued. As it was, Eneko was not at all expecting the Einheit alpha to have unknown company trailing after her. Immediately the male's form grows still, tense, completely rigid with the squint of blue orbs to try and discern who the other was. Typically he might have harbored a near constant joy that would befall any brute in a land otherwise devoid of other competition and warring testosterone, but he was taken aback by the sudden realization that he might have to face a turn of events that often yanked him back to this place; that something was about to change and not entirely for the better. Eneko had long concluded that one of Einheit's few appeals was the fact that it was a safe haven from a world run so rampant by other brutes. Sinead's lovely company was a boost, of course, but he wasn't sure he would have had the temptation to return after the first time he had ended up here. Lucky for him in that expanse of time no other soul of the male variety had set paw on the sands and his fondness for the place and its alpha's affections had grown exponentially. And perhaps that was even lucky for her, because it meant she had a fool driven by his hormones and tendency for attachment to jump to her aid at a moment's notice. Eneko was far enough that he couldn't make out every steamed word spat between the two but the tension thick in the air did not escape his note. He strides swiftly to the edge of his perch with the immediate flash of ivories. As much as a fool as he could sometimes be, he was not unaware of what must have transpired; Sinead had claimed this other brute and willingly brought him back to serv her pack. He had not a clue as to her reasoning and knew it wasn't his place to question who or what she did for her lands. Because that's what this place was: hers. And while he might have taken the opportunity to turn and avoid conflict in any other condition, his fondness for her and this place had him propelling himself down the rocks and over the dirt towards the duo. Though many times he might have run from another brute, Eneko had enough of a spine for Sinead to approach with a confident stride and hackles raised skyward. It was a task but he doesn't falter at the fact that this stranger was larger than him, something that might have chipped away at his resolve under other circumstances. "You speak bravely for someone in your position, mongrel," he reiterates the other's own words and there's a growl to tilt his voice far beyond the mischievous, facetious tendencies. Really, it was a startling contrast to the otherwise laid-back wolf one would usually find. He doesn't spare his actions much thought at this moment. Still, he stops before he can interfere with Sinead's position, circling halfway behind her, glowering past her while his mind races too fast to consider what was actually transpiring here or what he was doing. He wasn't even a member of this pack, but he was ready to defend the she-wolf's back without so much as a second thought.

Sinead "Mock me as you please, your time will come, mongrel. I will not be broken.”So unexpected was his response that Sinead was momentarily startled. She hadn’t expected him to give in so soon, and it was a relief that he finally had…but the insult was another matter. She knew she couldn’t allow it, not when he was supposed to be obedient, and she had already warned him about disrespect. In the blink of an eye, her lips pulled back to reveal bright ivory teeth, nose wrinkling, eyes flashing with rage as she leapt forward until she was only an inch away from him. Her body radiated anger, hackles raise and muscles tense as her words ripped from her throat.”I will gladly show you what happens when you disrespect me, sklavin,” she said, the last word spat from her mouth as if he were scum beneath her paws. She crouched, prepared to spring, to tear into him, and then suddenly Eneko was there as if he’d been conjured, all aggression and hostility as he confronted Icarus. She was stunned to silence as she watched for a moment, wondering where the hell he’d come from, exactly. He’d been waiting for her, obviously, and he’d caught enough of the encounter to be irritated. But this…this was more than irritated, it was practically livid. She had never seen him like that, and it left her confused before it finally clicked in the alpha’s mind. He was…jealous? The word felt odd even in her thoughts, especially in relation to Eneko. Then again, she’d never been around the brute and other males. Apparently it’s not a very wise idea, she thought wryly as Eneko placed himself behind her, glaring daggers at Icarus. For a moment she was torn between anger at his behavior, as if he had the right, and then appreciation. Although Eneko was not part of Einheit officially, he was willing to stand behind her and support her. With such a large, angry sklavin standing before her, Sinead could only appreciate his help. ”How unexpected,” she said simply, sparing Eneko a long look before turning to face Icarus, a sickeningly sweet smile pulling at her lips. ”Now you’ve had the pleasure of meeting Eneko.”She did not offer an explanation, nor a rank. Let him wonder, she thought. He deserves to.”I would tread carefully, Icarus. I do not know what situation led you to enslavement, and I do not care. That’s something you can deal with on your own time.” Grinning now, she glanced over her shoulder at Eneko, gesturing to Icarus with a paw as she did. ”My new sklavin. Isn’t he just so charming?” It was sarcastically put, obviously. Icarus was a tad on the ruffled side, and his attitude didn’t win him any points, but it would certainly be interesting to see how he reacted to Eneko’s scathing insult and threatening posture. It still surprised her to see him lurking behind her, eyes glaring daggers at the sklavin who stood before them.

She leapt at him and he did not waver, he remained with his feet firmly planted. Then he smiled, a wry smile with a laugh,
"I dare you"
He would rather die than lay down and surrender, especially to a female of smaller size.
In the distance the large male saw a figure approaching, and approaching quickly. He realized it was a male, and one who came to aid this lady. He was smaller than Icarus, and though quick, didn't seem to have much else going for him. Of course, this was all how the brute thought, he was better, he would always find flaws in others. He noticed how the actions of this male seemed to make it out to be that he was below her, that he had no real say. He stood behind her, not in front of her. And he seemed, protective, maybe? Icarus smiled, he smiled even though his entire world has fallen apart.
He didn't seem to hold himself to the Alpha position, but that didn't exactly mean he wasn't. All Icarus could see was that he was not above in position to Sinead. They were trying to intimidate him, but he still wouldn't give up. He was beaten at Auktion ROck and still didn't back down, he wasn't going to start now.
"Well, well, I see your boyfriend has come to play." He laughed, not at all knowing if he had hit any spots, but hoping so. "You have a beauty, very kind and loving." He retorted, with a snarl. His eyes stayed on Sinead the entire time, knowing she was the one to make the orders, he needed to watch her. He kept up his guard, though. All the while he kept a fierce expression on his face.
"She really is just a sweetheart, though, isn't she? Maybe I can win her heart one day..." He spat in the males direction. Of course this to him was nothing but a joke. He had sworn off all love interests, all friendships. Especially not to wolves with such cruel intentions on his own life. He kept his teeth bared, showing that he was unafraid as he awaited their responses.

E N E K O The curve and daggers of his teeth were still flashed in warning when Sinead briefly acknowledged him, but Eneko's attention was focused on the other male. The brute had never been one for confrontations, even going as far as to submit to Sinead when she'd caught him sneaking straight into her den without an invitation. He'd grown bold in regards to this land over time sure, yet Eneko still knew his place here; it was whatever Sinead granted him. She'd been very lenient with his actions and intrusions but he didn't dare jump in front of her or stand by her side without affirmation. And so from behind her, pacing, he glowers with a heated glare and a stare that could set aflame fur if it were possible. But, then, he'd also never dabbled too much in the company of other males and this aggression had lain dormant for some time. He despised them, perhaps in a way that made him somewhat of a hypocrite in the end. So often they sought to prove their might and strength, stroke their egos at the slightest inconvenience, think lesser of the opposite sex. Eneko couldn't claim to the latter, but if he'd spared it any thought at that moment he might have realized his own ego were ruling his emotions right then. Was he jealous? Maybe in some possessive way. He always had grown too attached to some, after all. Perhaps in some place in his head he'd already staked a claim over the she-wolf and he'd be damned if he let any harm befall her. ”My new sklavin. Isn’t he just so charming?”This jerks his attention from the object of his irritation then. Where as before the hardened gaze had been nothing but livid, it softened almost immediately when falling on her. The corner of his maw lifts in a minuscule smirk before twisting back quickly and flashing the brute a look that was not the least bit friendly or welcoming. "Exceedingly." He grunts. Really, Eneko hadn't been so put off or so easily destrought for too long. There was another pinch of rage that swept through him when the brute spoke so daringly of Sinead. Maybe Eneko didn't dabble in the affairs of sklavins and he didn't care all too much one way or the other over the matter, but he had the sudden urge to leap at this foolish ingrate and teach him his place. All fat and muscle but a walnut for a brain. Thought the male, just as he was taken by something other than his startling anger. Suddenly, a lewd smile spread across his maw and he almost laughed. Almost. "And you're doing a fine job of it, mongrel," started Eneko, growing fond of the nickname the other himself had tried to pin on Sinead. " Strutting about like you don't realize where you stand, spewing insults. You don't seam to have a very strong survival instinct. So I suppose it is far more likely she'll tear yours from your chest before you ever capture hers."No, he wasn't so jealous or afraid over the prospect that Sinead would have any relations with this buffoon. It wasn't his business if she did - as much as that frustrated him - but the more he gazed upon the over-sized fool the less he was worried that whatever claim or rank he did have would be thwarted because of his arrival. Eneko got the sense he had some monumental chip on his shoulder, so big it was a wonder he'd managed to drag it all the way from Auktion Rock. Perhaps the dissipating fear of what this might mean should have eased him, but instead he was left with the same sour taste in his mouth; he didn't like brutes that thought they had to prove something because they'd lost something. And he certainly didn't like the ones that spoke so aggressively to Sinead.

Sinead The tension in the air was thick as the males exchanged snarling, heavy blows, with Icarus never backing down even as a sklavin, and Eneko stalwartly defending Sinead. She observed them for a long moment with a narrow, calculating gaze. Icarus was as infuriating as ever, and for a moment Sinead considered either doing away with him or returning him to Auktion Rock. But as quickly as the suggestion had come to her, she flicked it away. She would not surrender to the likes of him, especially not in the face of foolish, reckless anger. That was what it was, truly. He was livid about something, perhaps the loss of his freedome, perhaps something more, but that was not her concern. She hadn't demanded he be dragged from his home; she'd only claimed him, as was her duty as a dominor. When the two had finally fallen silent, Sinead began to laugh. It started out as a low chuckle, silky and smooth, before growing steadily into full-fledged laughter. It was dark but undoubtably amused as she slunk forward, hips swaying as she circled Icarus, rubbing her sides against him. There was nothing romantic about it, nor flirtacious. It was a clear claim, a mockery, as she marked him as if she might her own territory. He was property to her, and she would have no doubts about that."You think I would ever stoop low enough to take you into my den, slave?" She asked silkily, craning her head up to gaze into his angry eyes. She tipped her head upwards so that her muzzle was closer to his ears, although she made no effort to conceal her words from Eneko. "You are mine, make no mistake, but I will never be yours. And the fact of the matter is that you can be as angry as you'd like. You can rebel and refuse and spit your insults, but you are still what you are, at the end of the day: a sklavin with only his anger to claim. Nothing more, nothing less."She left his side then, circling around behind Eneko to stand beside the free brute, just a tad bit ahead of him to assert her dominance but still close enough to show that she held him in high regard. Perhaps it was to irritate Icarus, or maybe because she truly did like having his support. Either way, she stood proudly, her sides brushing Eneko's in a far more intimate manor than she'd shown Icarus. "I certainly didn't expect you to come rushing to my defense," she said to him, affection and a hint of something more confused in her tone, as if there was a question hiding behind her words. "Although I can't complain. I was beginning to think that lovely Icarus here was going to attempt to rebel...as stupid as that idea is."She grinned, bright eyes twinkling with mischief. Although her behavior suggested that the whole situation was a jest, her mind worked swiftly, and she was careful to watch Icarus closely. She needed to see what made him tick to know how to break him, after all.

The brute let out a heavy breathe, the dirt under his paws was unfamiliar to him. The smell of the land, the dry air, all so unfamiliar. He took a minute to look out over the vast land and take in the entirety of it, it seemed so empty. He looked to the two wolves once more, laughing quietly as they talked so big. He smiled when the other male kept using the name mongrel for him, he didn't care what they called him. He only cared now that he was a captor, when he truly was meant to be a king. And he was determined to still one day become that king he was meant to be. He would once again rule lands, and maybe he would even come back for this one. He was always the kind of wolf to seek out vengeance when he felt it was deserved. The two looked good together, though, he couldn't deny that they made quite the team. He still only scoffed at the males submissive attitude. He smiled as she laughed, but he was gritting his teeth through it all.
"Your words will never bother me, for I am better than both of you. How many wolves lives do you control?" Icarus bit his tongue to say only things that sounded calm, he wouldn't let her see the panic swimming around his head as the realization of capture started truly setting it. "How many people follow at your command, but not at will?" He growled this one out, showing a slight bit of emotion. He took a step in the direction they were originial headed, wondering when she was going to show him where he would be living out his life apparently.
He growled as she neared him, as he felt her breath in his ear. His lips curled to let out a snarl after her words hit his brain. "I am nobodys" He spit in her direction, hackles beginning to raise. "I am bow to no one, pray to no gods. I am mine." He said it once more, to really let it sink in. Icarus was expecting this conversation to turn violent, but it wouldn't be because of any action he would take. He decided he would keep his panic in his own head until he was alone, until he could pace back and forth and figure something out.
He sighed out of relief when she went back to Eneko. "When do I get to meet the others, then" He spoke with a tone that sounded mischievous, like he has other plans. He didn't, not yet anyway, but he would.

» M E R O N A
The sun had just reach its zenith as the light she-wolf loped along Einheit’s western border, her eyes sharp as they scanned the flatness that lay out before her. She made a point to stop here and there as she moved, both to sniff new scent trails and make sure the old markers were maintained. The wind blew hard against her fur in this land, and even with the warmth from Eperna above, Merona felt the sharpness of winter whips and chills as they weaved through her coat.
She eventually turned her blue gaze towards the south and her paws quickly followed suit; Sinead would be back soon, and if Merona knew the Einheit Alpha as well as she thought she did, she’d want her sklavin ready and waiting should the need for a helper arise. She ran fast and swift into the only sparse ‘meadow’ that Einheit could claim, slightly irritated with the nettles that had somehow survived the cold temperatures this well into the season. It wasn’t so much a meadow as a bramble and tumble weed thicket, and it seemed overwhelmingly like a portion of fading greenery that Iudex had thrown into Einheit as a mere afterthought. The weeds continually caught and tangled her fur, causing her to stop and lean over a few times to unhinge herself from their grasp before she could press forward again. And then, after a few briefly frustrating moments, she was back to the red rubble, dirt, and pebbles that the land was known for. It stretched out before her like the ocean, a strange mixture of rust hues and slate stains. Everything was relatively level here until one reached the southernmost parts, where ridges and large rock piles dominated the landscape. Merona, her mind excited to see Sinead again after her travels, quickened her pace southward.
--
The sun had sank only moments when the sklavin’s pale coat dotted the horizon. She cast her gaze down into the lower rises, searching for any sight of her Alpha. It didn’t take long for her to spot the trio that was conversing just past where the river raced along, and Merona paused for a moment to both catch her breath and take note of who the third wolf was. From her vantage point, she could only tell the color and stance, with the latter being the most interesting. The wolf was defiant, that much was already clear, and between the three of them there seemed to be an air of disagreement. Eneko’s grey and white form was backing the Alpha’s whole heartedly, and the pair of wolves faced off against the newcomer with a surprising harshness that Merona hadn’t seen before—from Eneko in particular. Although he roamed the lands with a certain freedom, he was undoubtedly not a wolf of Einheit mark and Merona’s brow quirked as he stood his ground as obviously otherwise. Sinead then began circling the new wolf and Merona quickly made move to join them. She trotted confidently, unbarred from hiding herself with the others so close. They would smell her coming before they saw her, but if they did by some chance catch sight, she wanted it to honor Sinead and EInheit. By virtue of being Sinead’s, she would not be caught groveling or slinking around. Within the pack hierarchy she was lowest. To others outside of Einheit borders, she was higher than anything they could aspire to be.
As she inhaled, it was immediately clear that the rogue was a male—and by the stench that rolled off him, he had been newly picked from the bruised and battered sklavins of the Auktion Rock. Coming from Sinead and Eneko’s right, Merona pricked her ears to better hear the last lingering of debate.
“I am nobody’s. I bow to no one, pray to no gods. I am mine. When do I get to meet the others, then?”
A bold statement for someone so new. My name is Merona.
The she-wolf narrowed her blue eyes at the male as she walked into the now silent fray, moving to touch Sinead’s shoulder with her nose before she bowed low to the ground. She knew her place. It no longer bothered her, to submit so openly to her Alpha. Sinead had provided her a life better than most dominors and for that she was eternally grateful. And although the outlook wasn’t all positivity, Merona had secret optimisms that maybe, someday, in some way, Sinead would grant her freedom. Hope, if nothing else, was hers.
Retrieving herself, Mer moved to stand on Sinead’s side opposite Eneko. She stood behind both of the others, but still held herself high to show the male her stature. If he really was to become part of the pack, then she would no longer be the lowest ranking sklavin. She would be Sinead’s favored, most loved sklavin. Her dreams of membership, true membership, loomed closer. He seemed utterly unaccepting of his role as well, which meant there would be fighting and discipline for him. As the Omega he would take the brunt of failed hunts and of other lost things. Merona’s chest surged with excitement and she had half a mind to go assert her dominance now, but paused, waiting and looking at her Alpha unblinkingly.
