Icarus stood in line, defeated by the recent betrayal but a rage burning through his blood, his teeth gritting tight. He growled and snapped at the wolves pushing him forward. They beat him in return, and his rage only grew. There were just a few wolves ahead of him, and he watched as one by one got claimed and were taken by their new owners. Wolves do not belong to other wolves, that is all he could think, that his life was worth just as much as theirs. If not more. They ripped him from his land, took him from his pack and he would stop at nothing to get his freedom back. Icarus looked over the wolves in front of him, most of them small and dainty, weak, and probably not much use to most in the state they are in. He realized now why he was targeted, and why others like him will be targeted. They needed stronger wolves, desirable. They didn't guess that they would also get feisty and aggressive in the package.
Now he was just one wolf away, and he breathed a heavy sigh. His mind was racing, and the only thing he cared about was the well being of his younger sister. What would come of his pack if his younger brother were to take over? He is not ready, he wasn't trained. Who is going to claim him? Do they know what they are in for? All these questions and so many more run through his head. Then he is shoved onto the stage, he turns and snarls at the wolf. On the stage he looks out over the crowd. To him they were all worthless, their lives mean nothing to him. He wore an angry, determined expression the entire time the worthless wolves looked him over.
"A strong brute male, if you need a warrior or a worker this wolf has the perfect build!"
Icarus scowled at the sound of the wolf's voice, shouting things like he is trying to sell an item. He waits, and watched for the first sign of interest.

Sinead Dirt stirred beneath her paws as Sinead descended upon Auktion Rock.Cranium held high, ears erect atop her skull, and seagreen eyes blazing, she strutted through the ranks of gathered dominors as if she owned them all. She paid little mind to the jeers that some of them threw in her direction; surely they knew her as the alpha of Einheit, and they were testing her, but they were not worth even the tiniest flick of her triangular ears. Her eyes were set on the jutting rock ahead of her, where a long line of sklavins were being lead to the top and sold left and right. She came to the front of the crowd, pushing her way through until she could see clearly, snapping at anyone who jostled her or moved too close. She was here for one reason and one reason only. That didn't include being pawed at by lecherous brutes looking for the next slave to break. She was a queen, damn it, and she was going to be treated like one.One by one, the sklavins were paraded before the jeering crowd. Sinead watched, silent. They were a particularly sorry lot today, with the exception of a few, and yet they weren't quite what she was looking for. She didn't long for a sklavin who would silently grovel at her feet. No, there was no strength in those. She wanted the fiercest pack members for Einheit...even if they were only lowly slaves. And then, when bordeom was beginning to set in, the booming words of a slaver caressed her auds."A strong brute male, if you need a warrior or a worker this wolf has the perfect build!"Oh, and what a brute he was! Massive, truly, and brimming with anger as he glared out across the crowd. Yes, he was perfect."I'll take him," she said, her clear feminine voice ringing with authority as she parted from the crowd. Several of them shot her harsh looks, which she ignored, her eyes gleaming as she stared at the brute. "Come."She moved several paces away from the hustle and bustle, hips swaying, fully expecting him to have followed her. She stopped and turned after a moment, undaunted completely by his size, despite the fact that she had to crane her head back to look up at him. She leveled him with her fiery gaze, silent, and then she spoke again."I'm Sinead, and I'll be your new dominor. Refer to me respectfully, always, and do not think that brooding glare of yours will intimidate me. Now, what is your name?"

He scanned the crowd curiously, but it didn't take long for the voice to ring through his ears. A feminine voice, a stern one too, and his eyes flickered to shock then quickly replaced with anger again. In his head, the shock remained. The rage grew more, it was a female that got him here and now it would be a female to think she could own him? He growled at her demand and stood his ground, but two others pushed him down to greet her.
She asked his name, but he has done so well in not speaking to anyone in this godforsaken place and he wasn't about to start now.
"He hasn't spoken since he got here, it shouldn't take too much convincing though. We were informed his name is Icarus by our transportation"
Icarus snarled at the black wolf being called 'transportation'. More like life ruining thief. He planted his feet firmly in the ground and glared at this new female that wanted to take him on, he wasn't going down without a fight. First, though, he should allow her to lead him out of here, because here he is very outnumbered. He spit at the word 'Respectfully'. Was it respectful to claim another's life? Was it respectful to take every right they have away and force them to do their bidding? He wanted so badly to yell at her, to tell her had a family, he had a home. He didn't truly care about the family he left behind, but it was the principle of the matter. He wanted to tell her he was stolen by deception. But he gritted his teeth, thinking she wouldn't care to hear it anyway.
He snapped in her direction, making a statement. He knew he couldn't keep up this silence for long, but he needed it to be until he could get away from this place. He couldn't think clearly here. He couldn't figure out how to get home, or at least free, as long as his mind was crowded with these thoughts and these sights.

Sinead Sinead watched him as he stared at her silently, teeth snapping in response to her words. Icarus, they’d called him, and so Icarus he would be. He hadn’t spoken against it, so she assumed they’d gotten his name correct. Almost involuntarily, a laugh slid from her muzzle, clearly aimed in his direction. If he wished to behave like a child, she would treat him like a child, and Sinead knew very well how to break him. It would not be done with brute force; she was small and dainty, so that would not do, but rather with more convenient methods. She stepped forward until she was inches away from him, narrowing her bright eyes. ”You are not the only mute I’ve dealt with, brute. There a she-wolf who does not speak in my pack currently, although she doesn’t do so childish nor out of spite, like you.” Contempt was laced through her words as she tilted her head, observing him. Strong and sturdy, to be sure. He’d be worth it when some of his meddlesome anger had faded. She assumed he was new to the sklavin lifestyle, likely taken forcibly from his home or dumped here unwillingly. Either way, she would deal with him firmly.”You will be taken to Einheit. It is a desolate waste of nothing but dirt and sand. The sun will be your worst enemy in the summer, and the cold nights will be agonizing in the winter if you do not seek adequate shelter. Prey is difficult to find on most days, nearly impossible in this frigid weather, and that is how I will break you.” Her words turned hard and cold as she went on. “I will not let you eat. I will not let you sleep, unless you can find solace in the freezing emptiness and ruthless sandstorms. I will deny you all luxuries, all comfort, if you continue to behave so foolishly. And if you try to run while you are weak, I will hunt you. I will never stop hunting you, and if you return to wherever it is that you came from, I will drag you and anyone else that I can back with me.” Here she paused, flicking her gaze across him. ”You will make a good addition to Einheit, if you shape up. Behave respectfully and your belly will stay full, and your pelt will stay warm. I am not a cruel dominor, but I will not tolerate disrespect.” She blinked at him slowly, waiting, letting him take in the information she had given him before she spoke again. ”Now, if you can agree to that, we can leave for Einheit. Understood?”

His teeth gritted at the insult, he could not see how a male who had just had his rights stripped from him could be childish. It almost hurt to hear the insult come so harshly from a female. He hadn't even taken the time to let the original pain of betrayal set in, he hadn't truly thought about what was happening. The more he thought the more defeated he felt. The more he realized that his life may very well be over. Unless he could find the prime opportunity to fight for his freedom, and he hadn't given up all hope yet.
He laughed out loud at her threats, he would starve to death before he would be broken. This was the first real response he had given anyone since his capture. In his head, though, he doubted his ability to withstand the climates, but he would never let such fear show. He would never again show himself to anyone, especially not this sorry excuse for someone who says they "are not cruel". He wanted to be a king, not a lowly slavkin. This could never be a happy life for him.
He gave her no growl, no snap, no response of any kind to her last comment. He gave her one last look, this one was not of anger, but of curiosity. Did something in her life make her want to control others? Strip them of their freedom? Did she feel entitled to something? He merely walked passed her, glancing back expectantly, as if he was showing his readiness to leave this place. He still stood tall, his fur a mess but his eyes still full of determination. The beatings he had received here had not taken any of his strength. He knew once he did speak, he wouldn't be able to contain his nasty words or his sharp responses. His anger would soon get the best of him, and during those times he couldn't control himself.
