got a rhythm and it's all you need so everybody come and rock your thing Trespassing had never been among Eneko's specialties. In fact, his goals had always been quite the opposite. He knew the boundaries of each claimed land, their invisible walls etched within his mind and only infringed upon under necessity or special circumstances. The entirety of the free lands were his to roam, but the male of multi-hued grays had always been mindful to keep his distance, allowing the unseen borders a wide birth in hopes of avoiding detection and confrontation from the higher-ups. It wasn't so much that he held a considerable amount of respect for the self-proclaimed kings and queens of Ravensbruck. No, he was simply scared. That's right, Eneko was frightened of the dominors. Well... the male dominors. Interaction involving the other big bad brutes of the land had been thoroughly dodged, averting himself from whatever path might send him on a collision course. Alas, this is what he loved so very much about Einheit; there were no testosterone driven males out to prove their superiority. This was one of those special circumstances.
Before his well-worn paws stretched a familiar picture of sand, rock, and more sand. Sometimes he would chance upon a tree or shrub, but his surroundings remained mostly desolate. A buzzard squawked somewhere far above his dust-coated back, the only sound to greet him besides the quick huffs of his own panting. Left behind the path he tread swept a mist composed of tiny granules of sand carried away on a light breeze. It was hot, the waves of heat rippling across the expanse nothing like the vast ocean shores he'd raced upon not long ago. This heat was nothing Eneko hadn't experienced and trudged through before and given the circumstances, it was deliciously sweet. Dresna, that lovely she-wolf he'd had swooning at his paws just a week or two before, was nowhere to be seen. He'd told her he would return soon enough, and he had every intention of fulfilling that promise. But he had to keep moving. He'd been cooped up in the lushness that bordered her home for far too long.
As he journeyed, he wondered continuously what Sinead would make of his sudden appearance. It used to be that he'd wait just at the border in hopes of her acceptance. Then he'd grown bold and would allow himself a short ways into her territory. She hadn't kicked him out. Now, for the first time, he was escorting himself across her land as if he'd received an open invitation. She won't mind. She'll be happy to see me after all these months, he would repeat to himself until he was so sure of it, there remained no room for doubt.
After a quick splash and a drink from a barely trickling stream, the brute headed directly for where he knew he would be discovered. The common area was deserted by the time Eneko made his grand appearance, which consisted of him escaping the heat in whichever den smelled most of Sinead and plopping down unceremoniously. God, was it hot. He settled in just where the noontime sun met the relief of the den's shade. The aromas around him were fresh, which was enough of an assurance that this place was still very much Sinead's home. The place was deserted at that moment, he noted. However, a new scent that he did not recognize tickled his nose. It was most definitely female, much to his relief. He didn't think he was up for a spat with some high-minded brute. Sinead might not be too pleased to find him there herself, but he was sure he could manage her if he caught her at a bad time. In his wait, he allowed himself to drift into a midday nap.

show me what it's like Sinead had found that, with time, she began to wander. It didn't matter where she was, what land she ruled, or anything of that. Regardless of her place and of her mindset, there was an ich in her paws that could only be sated by skirting across the earth. Then again, things were a tad bit different now. Now, Einheit was hers entirely. She had a place to call home, a place she couldn't just up and leave - especially with no beta appointed. The facts were clear as day; she had two sklavin in her care, both females, and to leave them entirely alone would basically be inviting them to be taken. But still, Sinead wandered.
She never went further than her borders, but she would constantly go to the very edge and run patrols, just for the sake of moving. Her muscles burned and beneath her fur, her skin was hot thanks to the sweltering sun, but it felt good in a way. Sinead was no stranger to pain, and although she certainly was no masochist, she could tolerate it. It pushed her further, drove her on like nothing else could.
Once she had looped around Einheit twice, Sinead conceded that there was nowhere else for her to go, and reluctantly started back towards the dens, where she knew shade and comfort were waiting for her. Perhaps she could doze off; it wasn't like anything interesting was happening, anyways. Merona was off being...well, Merona, somewhere, and Chalandra was likely sulking around the dens somewhere. She had been...docile lately. Surprisingly so, actually. Just like that, Sinead's life had gotten boring all over again. Not that she should be complaining, after all. It wasn't like she craved drama in her life, but the stillness was unusual.
As the she-wolf crested a small mountain of sand she paused, gazing down at the small collection of dens that laid below, carved into the side of a massive red rock. Thoughts of shade pushed the alphess forward, sending her down the small mound with a spray of gritty sand. Panting now, she made for the largest den, stepping inside and inhaling deeply, comforted by her own scent—
Wait.
There was another scent now, startlingly fresh and very masculine. Sinead’s hackles rose as she dove deeper into the den, nails scrabbling against the hard rock beneath her feet. It was only once she burst into the largest part of the den did something hit her: she knew that scent, and she knew it very well. Sucking in a deep breath she paused, taking a moment to gather her bearings as her eyes adjusted to the light.
There, in the far corner, was a large, dark shape. Even before Sinead advanced she knew who he was, which had her muscles relaxing, the hair along her spine lying flat. It had been quite a while since she had seen Eneko, but never before had he strutted into her territory so boldly, as if he belonged here. Sauntering forward, Sinead stopped before his slumbering body, narrowing her blue-green eyes at the brute.
”Well, well, well,” she said, her voice overly loud in the enclosed space, echoing off of the walls. ”When did your sense of entitlement grow so large, Eneko?”
Of course, she wasn’t that mad at the brute…but she couldn’t let him off that easily.

got a rhythm and it's all you need so everybody come and rock your thing The tel-tail click of nails against hard earth should have given away the she-wolf's approach. Eneko, however, had been lulled into a deep slumber thanks in part to his journey and familiar surroundings. He felt at home in Eihnheit perhaps more than anywhere else; as much as Eneko could feel at home. Home. The very idea of it was fairly foreign to him and not something that made its presence known often, but was still buried deep within him as it was any other soul. Long ago he may have been confused by the notion of it, but time had allowed him to grasp these feelings. He felt some form of strange comfort here, blanketing him in its warmth and safe grip. It had been some time since he had lost count of his Einheit visits and yet the soothing sensation of familiar scents and sights even had him sleeping like a newborn pup.
”Well, well, well,”
The sound was muffled in the brute's groggy mind, echoing off the den's walls as nothing more than a jumbled whisper of words. It took him a moment but he started, lifting his head with the jolt of his entire body. It took a long few seconds for his vision to focus and narrow in on the familiar form that had joined him in the darkness. Well, darker than the blinding sun, he thought. His gaze traveled from the tips of her claws to the points of her ears and everywhere in between that he could see, before meeting her own. She stood there, in all her glory, before him. He suspected she might be surprised to find him there, but he did not yet find himself overly concerned. "Sin-," he began with her name, a name that tasted so lovely on his tongue, when he was quite suddenly interrupted.
”When did your sense of entitlement grow so large, Eneko?”
This earned the she-wolf brief silence before, just as abruptly as she'd appeared, he was grinning. It wasn't unlike the devilish grin he had used on Dresna, though he didn't suspect it would have quite the same effect on the Einheit alpha. They'd known each other for some time now, and she'd had plenty of that time and plenty of opportunities to acclimate to his ways. "Forgive me," he decided to play along with her scolding. He supposed she could have sounded far more upset than she really did and Eneko reckoned it was safe to proceed. "Long days and long nights alone and all that. Can't blame me for seeking out your pretty face. Waiting at the borders would only prolong my suffering." He said it with a slight hint of amusement but the thing about Eneko was that he didn't tell white lies or false compliments. If he said something, he truly meant it.
As much time as he spent alone in his wanderings like a feather on the wind, he was quite the sociable creature. He wanted her not to be upset with him. The idea of Sinead, alpha of the only place in which he found such comfort, throwing him out for trespassing, was one that twisted his stomach. And goodness, he'd seen her angry and felt her tension. Perhaps not always towards him, but he'd been witness. His heart ached at the brief thought that he may have upset her, and not only for his own selfish reasons. Rolling over upon his back before her like that of a submissive slave, he tried valiantly to fight off that mischievous grin that had become somewhat of a trademark. It was both meant as a joke and a ploy to save his own hide and to please her. His eyes locked onto her, gauging every little reaction he could possibly muster from the she-wolf. He had yet to infuriate her it seemed, so he continued to brave this path. "But I understand if you must punish me for my intrusion," there was a flirtatious undertone to his words, so obviously there that it was clear he wasn't really trying hard enough to conceal it. Perhaps he hadn't employed as much caution as he could have.

show me what it's like There was a brief moment after Sinead spoke that Eneko gave no visible response. He didn’t stir, didn’t even open his eyes, and Sinead was stricken with a horrible thought: was he even alive? But then blessedly his eyes cracked open, his body jerking as he struggled to focus on her. She waited patiently, her face a mask of cool detachment despite the way her heart still pounded from the little scare. It took a few long seconds for her words to sink in, but she knew the exact moment that they did, all thanks to the very familiar grin that he flashed at her. She nearly returned the motion, narrowly stopping herself in time. Not yet. "Forgive me. Long days and long nights alone and all that. Can't blame me for seeking out your pretty face. Waiting at the borders would only prolong my suffering."Unable to prevent the heavy that fell from her lips, Sinead rolled her glistening eyes. It wasn’t that she didn’t believe Eneko, because she knew better than that. But the fact of the matter was, he was such a charmer, and Sinead had stopped falling for his flirty quirks long ago. Well, almost. There was still something so attractive about a big, hulking brute like him, even if she’d matured beyond girlish crushes. She could still remember the days when she was as green as a pup, going red as the desert sun beneath her fur whenever he would toss her a compliment. She’d tried to play coy then, but now she wasn’t playing anymore. Back then, she was all front and no show…but she’d long ago grown into her shapely hips and sultry voice. She was a lady, a queen. Yet much like her, Eneko had grown, too. She always felt like she was playing a dangerous, thrilling game when he was around. A game that she enjoyed very, very much. "But I understand if you must punish me for my intrusion.” His words jerked her out of her trip down memory lane as he threw himself onto his back, submitting. While his words were deliciously deep with more than a dash of flirtatiousness, his gesture was sincere. He was actually worried about her anger. Fighting off a laugh, Sinead drew herself to her full height, lifting her head high above his as she stared down her snout at him. ”I don’t know, Eneko…” she said, letting her voice trail off. It echoed, bouncing off of the stone walls as she stepped towards him. A stream of sunlight glanced off of her fur, highlighting the golden hues hidden among the silver and white, and revealing the particles of dust that danced just inches from her frame. ”You’ve really overstepped your boundaries this time. I haven’t seen you in months and you come waltzing into my territory, make yourself at home in my den…” She stopped, not liking how sharp her voice had suddenly turned to supposedly be “acting”. Perhaps it did irk her a little, but then again, it was just how Eneko was. Had she grown so cold and calculating in the last few seasons that she treated her friends so horribly? Before she could answer her own question, she allowed a slow, seductive smile to pull at the lips of her maw as she leaped forward, biffing Eneko on the nose with one of her paws before dancing back. A girlish giggle filled the silence as she tilted her head at him, making it perfectly clear that her anger had been a ruse. Well, mostly anyways. Did he know how closely he had toed the line of anger and forgiveness? It seemed to be getting thinner and thinner these days.”Gods, you great brute, where have you been?” to dream in black and white

got a rhythm and it's all you need so everybody come and rock your thing The she-wolfs gaze lingered on his own for a long moment, staring down at him in a fashion that had him both concerned that he'd misjudged the situation and internally squirming for her to return the flirtatious undertones of his words. He had to resist the great urge to lift himself up and place a chaste lick to her cheek, desperate in his own doubt to appease her.
”I don’t know, Eneko…”
She moved closer and he decided it best to remain where he was on the ground despite the proximity sending an all too familiar jolt through his body. As if to combat the automatic and seductive effect she had on him just by her nearness, however, her tone grew sharp and quick. His ears drifted back with every word until he looked as if she'd beaten him down with a heavy stick. This was... new to Eneko, as he had never before been on the receiving end of an alpha's verbal scolding, and she was not even alpha over him. Suddenly, he looked upon her in a new-found light and understanding. Life, for Eneko, had been nothing more than a grand adventure sweeping him across the landscape. Sinead had ruled over this place for a while now, and yet only now did he suddenly see how far she'd truly come. Even through his own mild frustrations, he could not help but be proud of her. "I am sorry. I missed you." It was a simple, honest confession, delivered in a surprisingly delicate manner.
Something swept across his nose quite suddenly, drawing him out of the fond gaze that had softened his eyes. A feminine, girlish giggle echoed off the walls around them and Eneko quickly jumped back to his full stature with a smirk. He bothered little with shaking off the red dust that now coated the greyish hues of his back, merely relieved that the momentary tension had broke.
He was on his feet just as she danced away, partially following with a step or two as if it were only natural for him to do so. Maybe it was. Eneko had been chasing her tail for some time now, perhaps more than any he had chased before. It could be said that he grew attachments to others too strongly and too quickly, flocking to them like a bee flocks to nectar no matter how many times it drank its fill. Sinead had been especially intoxicating to him, for she was the one that had his wandering paws returning. Luring such a roaming brute as himself, time and time again, was a feat in itself. Maybe that was the reason he felt so very comfortable in this place, because of her familiarity. It was perhaps the only familiarity he knew in this drifting life.
”Gods, you great brute, where have you been?”
Thoughts drifted to a certain stark-white she-wolf, lush forests, a coarse coat tangling with a soft pelt... no, no, NO. Dresna overwhelmed his mind and he suddenly found himself wondering if he were trekking the same path with her that he'd already trekked with Sinead. Eneko knew immediately that this was not a place for his thoughts to wander to right now and he forcefully shoved it into a far corner of his mind as if it were never there to begin with. Instead, he employed a well-practiced and lingering gaze to fix onto Sinead and with cautious steps he continued his approach. "Why? Are you admitting that you missed me?" He smirked with a knowing gaze that masked hopefulness. He wanted her to miss him. He wanted her to want him here. "I took a long vacation on the beach," he finally rewarded her with an answer. It was not a lie, but no reason to mention Dresna. Not yet.

It was quiet. The the wind had finally decided to die down and sweep calmly along the pebbles and crevices, and there was a strange absence of life. Merona's blue eyes warily scanned the horizon from her perch. Nothing was out of the ordinary. The morning had grown and risen as it always did. The sun had sprouted from the ground with those petals of light, those rays that drifted across the barren land time and time again, and Merona laid patiently in wait as she always did. It was a beautiful morning for simply breathing, and the subtle activity was something the she-wolf had taken to doing while on dawn patrol for her pack (however small it's ranks currently were).
It was her nature to wake up early, and it was easier in this place, where the temperature was either freezing winds or blazing flames. It was also considerably easier to fight off sleep in a place she hadn't quite come to trust--even with the lack of hiding places in the territory and even fewer pack mates to work alongside. The loss of Vernado, while made dull by time and space, still plagued the back of her mind on long nights when the skies cried too loudly and shadows lurked just behind her frame. He had been a wonderful alpha, and Merona found herself comparing Sinead to her old savior time and time again. In her actions and her words, in her compassion and in her lack of it. Sinead was a fair dominor to her, but then again Merona realized she'd never stepped so much as a toe out of line in order to find out otherwise.
With her thoughts on Sinead, Merona yawned wide before stretching her legs in turn. Right, left, right, left. She stood and gave a hearty shake before staring once more out towards Einheit's glistening horizon. Her alpha would definitely be up and at it by now, and the she-wolf gently considered the hunting possibilities that laid before her. Lizard would be easy to find, but not exactly fulfilling for both herself and Sinead. And I can't forget Chalandra--that is, if she decides to show her face...
Merona shrugged her shoulders, resigning herself to the fact that lizard was the only reasonable thing to find at this point. She hadn't seen any rabbits in days with the drought, and birds would be too tricky and time consuming to catch on her own. Unlike her home back in thick forests of Regnen, deer wasn't even a remote possibility here. Pulling her shoulders into a more definite stance, Merona leaped off her perch and slunk furtively across the pebbled ground. Her eyes darted this way and that, trying to pick up the quick, distinctive movements of flashing scales and wiggling tails.
It was only after a short while that she'd gathered three lizards; two were rather skimpy in size, but Merona's legs and chest were burning from the effort. Lizards were unique in that fact--they were a bother to hunt for all the chasing and dodging around. Their quickness was not to be understated, and although Merona had been successful this particular morning, there had been many previous hunts that had gone empty. It would have to do for now. The she-wolf gently picked up her catch and headed back towards the dens at a slow lope, her eyes scanning for either Sinead's or Chalandra's frames against the rocky backdrop.
The heat was picking up as the tan she-wolf reached the dens, and she huffed loudly through a lizard-stuffed mouth as she padded inside the coolness the cave provided. She blinked quickly as she moved, trying to force her eyes to adjust faster to the darkness. Such a difference between worlds, she thought to herself. Bright heat and sweltering temperatures up there and a dark, almost damp coolness down here. She trotted faster as the fresh scent of Sinead crept in between the aroma of lizard, secretly relieved that her alpha was indeed in the dens and not scouting on some further border.
Merona burst into the den a little faster than she'd meant to, skidding slightly to the left and right into another wolf. Ooof! Startled by the presence of not only one but two wolves, the lizards dropped from her mouth and her paws scuffled awkwardly against the other wolf as Merona quickly backed up, her hackles raised at the unfamiliar scent. She realized Sinead was indeed the other wolf present and moved to her alpha's side with a glint in her eyes. She wasn't sure who this stranger was, but to corner an alpha (let alone an alpha like Sinead) like this was certainly a bold move... Baring her teeth and snarling internally, Merona looked hesitantly to Sinead for affirmation.

show me what it's like "I am sorry. I missed you."
They were sweet words. Honest, but...sweet. It brought a weird feeling to Sinead's chest, as if she didn't have enough air. How long had it been since she'd seen such a welcome, friendly face? Playing the part of the no-nonsense alpha was certainly what she did best, but...sometimes it was nice to be appreciated. Even if it was by a brute like Eneko, who seduced female after female with his ruggish, masculine charm. Not that Sinead could blame the simpering ninnies that trailed in his wake, but there was still something so satisfying knowing that it was her that he returned to, time after time. Even if she could lay no claim to him - not that she would ever dare try - he was still hers, in a way. With a male like Eneko, Sinead had learned long ago that it was better to let him be wild and free. Tying him down would never work, so she let him come and go without really minding. And, to his credit, he'd never tried to stake a claim on her, either. She'd once been as carefree as he was, unable to be found due to constant roaming, unable to be tamed. And while she still didn't intend to settle down with anyone in the near future, she'd matured a little since he'd last found her. Selfishly, she hoped he noticed.
"Why? Are you admitting that you missed me?" He advanced towards her until he was only inches away, pinning her with that smoldering stare of his. "I took a long vacation on the beach."
His answer was fairly delayed, which immediately had Sinead on her toes. She knew him well enough to make her wonder exactly which harlot he'd been vacationing with, but before she could ask, she pushed her possessiveness away. It had become a habit ever since she had claimed Einheit to assume that everything and everyone she desired, specifically in her territory, was hers. But now wasn't the time for that, so she simply smiled slowly and inched forward until they were nearly nose to nose. She could feel his breath mingling with her golden-gray fur as she looked up at him. "I might've missed you," she said, her voice dropping to a soft, throaty murmur. "Maybe you should--"
Before Sinead could finish her suggestion, a blur of cream and tan rolled by, right into Eneko. Leaping backwards as quickly as if she'd spotted a viper, Sinead danced away, narrowly avoiding stepping on a pile of discarded lizards.
Wait. Lizards?
Peering more closely at the wolf now scurrying away from Eneko, Sinead was relieved to find that it was Merona and not some foolish intruder. Or, even worse, Chalandra. Just the thought of the coy little vixen if she spotted Eneko made Sinead boil, but...no. It was her other sklavin, who she personally favored much more. Merona was at her flank in an instant, teeth bared in a silent snarl as she glanced back and forth from Eneko to Sinead. Unable to control the pang of pride that wormed it's way into her gut, Sinead shook her head quickly at the she-wolf.
"It's alright, Merona. He's an old friend."
It was amazing, really, to see how quickly Merona reacted to a threat on Sinead's behalf. The alpha had never been one for mushy feelings, but she shot Merona quick glance of approval before turning back to Eneko. While she wasn't mad at her slave for interrupting, since Merona had no way of knowing who Eneko anyways, Sinead was a little disappointed over their interrupted moment. But this was better. Now Eneko could see that she truly was an alpha.
"In case you didn't catch that, this is Merona. She doesn't speak, so don't think her rude," Sinead said. She found that it was easier to clarify Merona was mute during the introductory stages, to avoid any misunderstandings or misplaced aggression. "Merona, this is Eneko."
The pride was evident in Sinead's glimmering eyes as she looked from Merona to Eneko. Now that she'd gotten that out of the way, she could only sit back and watch, to see how the two reacted to each other.
This might be amusing.

got a rhythm and it's all you need so everybody come and rock your thing Eneko focused on the she-wolf before him, his eyes seeing only her in the darkness of the dens. The sights, the sounds around them, all but the perfume of her scent and her form were lost to the brute and his muscles tensed with anticipation and longing. It had been weeks since he'd felt another's closeness and the prospect thundered in his heart. He gauged her reaction with a locked gaze that refused to waver, keen to any small movement or detail. They slid over her body as she stood there, from her delicate paws and up her legs to her hips, chest and finally her blue-green eyes.
There was a possibility that she'd figured the underlying secret hidden beneath his words and he wondered if she'd care. She held no claim over him, just as he held none over her. Though he certainly was sure to make it clear the doors were open should she want him, Eneko hadn't necessarily come here expecting anything specific from Sinead. No, his path just seemed to curve back to this place. His reasoning was that he felt comfort here and allowed his paws to carry him in search of this feeling. She had no obligation to accommodate his unwavering desires. Yet even so, there was always that glimmer of hope that perhaps she'd be inclined to return his affections. Sometimes she did, sometimes she didn't, and he always let her make that call. She stepped closer, stoking the heat that was the smoldering fire within him with that simple motion. His loins burned with each and every word and Eneko was very much anticipating her acceptance to his advances.
Quite suddenly he was being rammed, the force in his side sending him stumbling over a step and with it went his breath. He kept his footing, however, and immediately stedied himself to face his would-be attacker. Lips curled over sharp canines and a growl was thrust from his throat, echoing off the walls. In the split second of confusion he'd steeled his legs and placed a step in front of Sinead. Eneko wasn't sure what he was doing in that brief moment, only that he was overcome with the urge to defend himself and the she-wolf. And yet before he could do any more the blur of creams and tans was beside her. This stranger's ivories flashed right back at him, though silence was all that met his ears as she did so. His gaze danced between the two she-wolves and realization quickly took hold. Ears which had been flattened rose once more, his maw falling away from the snarl it'd been wrapped in for that short time.
The brute could not help the wave of disappointment that washed over his entire body. He looked upon this other female with a mixture of irritation and curiosity. How could he not be curious? Because she was female, and such a thing always tingled his fur. And then his eyes downcast to the pile of discarded lizards that lay between him and the other two. His stomach suddenly rolled and he felt more ravenous for a full belly than for their warmth. Lizard wasn't exactly a delicacy but Eneko never had been fickle about his food. There was doubt there, though, and his eyes returned to them. They obviously weren't expecting company and he dare not touch one of the small morsels.
"Pleasure," he said upon Sinead introducing him. This... Merona, as she was called, surely was interesting. He'd never met a mute wolf before and the idea of never being able to speak wasn't pleasant. What could anyone do without words? What would he possibly do without words. His eyes cast back to Sinead. "Not that I'll be getting any of that," in any other way it might have sounded sour, but Eneko offered it with a layer of amusement in his tone. Tentatively, he moved forward, around this new face as if to inspect her. His eyes roamed her shamelessly but where his paws lead him as he did so was to Sinead. He stood beside her, leaning closer to speak, "you going to offer me anything?" He purred this in her ear, but was sure to shift his gaze to one of the lizards so as to convey what he was suggesting. He was ravenous, in so very many ways.

"It's alright, Merona. He's an old friend."
A small, hesitant glance darted between Sinead and the strange male as Merona considered the pair. That was all it took. Flattening her ears in apologies, Merona took the quiet liberty of tucking her tail a little lower. From the tension that suddenly gripped the room, it was obvious she'd interrupted something of at least mild importance.
"In case you didn't catch that, this is Merona. She doesn't speak, so don't think her rude,"
A brief lapse of silence followed before Sinead motioned at the strange male for clarity.
"Merona, this is Eneko."
Eneko. It was a different name, but strong and distinctly male as she sounded it out inside her mind. She surveyed the male with a piqued interest for a few moments, narrowing her blue eyes as she studied him. He looked so familiar. But from where? Merona stubbornly racked her mind, trying to place him amongst her scattered past before coming up empty-pawed. It was something about the way he held himself, something about that coat color...
"Pleasure,"
Whatever she'd seen before was lost when he spoke. His voice was rough and deep, thrilling some hidden part of the she-wolf who's existence she hadn't been fully aware of until now. She instinctively felt his gaze rake over her, questioning and examining how she handled herself now that he knew she was mute. It was a typical response. Merona shrugged it off with a flick of an ear before further emboldening herself to match Eneko's striking gaze with her own flash of blue. She lingered there, blinking once, twice. And yet, this kind of behavior in front of a dominor, let alone Sinead, was atypical for the she-wolf and as soon as Eneko shifted his gaze, Merona was swift to remember her sklavin courtesies. She dipped her head low and pulled one paw into her chest as she'd been taught moons ago by Erus, hoping against hope that Sinead hadn't seen the way she'd met Eneko's stare.
"Not that I'll be getting any of that,"
Surprise was the obvious emotion that rushed through the tan she-wolf, but she held herself stoic, forcing the heat that was quickly rising into her face down, down, down. She had to get this sudden desire (whatever it could honestly be labeled as) under control or risk Sinead's wrath. She'd already burst in on them without warning and her eyes were offending just as easily. Merona took a few respectful steps back as Eneko moved towards her and then subsequently to Sinead. There was no clear indicator of the pair's relationship, but what other reason would two wolves, one male one female, be conversing together in the dark for at this hour of the day? A trickle of worry passed through Merona at the thought of what she might have interrupted and for a moment she considered promptly leaving the pair to their previous engagement--whatever it might have been.
"You going to offer me anything?"
Eneko's voice was a haunting, seductive tone as he drawled in Sinead's ear and Merona herself blushed a deep, reckless red beneath her pelt. I'd love to. Pause. I didn't mean that. She chastised herself as quickly as the thought formed, faintly noting that for once she was glad her muteness held her voice tacit.
Between the crackle of sexual tension and her own thudding heart for whatever Eneko sparked in her, Merona's mind suddenly clicked. Her eyes widened as she looked at him, unabashedly comparing a memory of her old friend to the wolf that now stood before her. Vernado. You look like Vernado.

show me what it's like "Pleasure. Not that I’ll be getting any of that."
Eneko’s words caused a shiver to run the length of Sinead’s spine, her fur twitching and shifting just slightly in response. She offered no visible response, save for a flirtatious wink in his direction, but that didn’t mean that her insides weren’t twisting into knots. Gods, sometimes it was hard for her to resist him. Sometimes she didn’t even bother trying, but she couldn’t just roll over for him every time, and she reminded herself of that over and over as she studied him. He was so masculine that it made some deeper, more primal part of her stir. It was only natural, after all; he was a fit male, a handsome one, and her body told her that they would produce strong pups. But realistically, Sinead knew better.
Silence fell over the cave, and Sinead took a moment to glance from Eneko to Merona, just in time to catch the sklavin lowering her gaze from the males. She looked…uncomfortable, but not fearful. And judging by the way she was fidgeting, her glance jumping from up to down and back so quickly that it was dizzying, Sinead had a good guess as to why. Truly it agitated her, which showed in the way her ears snapped back against her skull, but she clenched her teeth tight to keep her mouth shut. The jealousy that burned through her was ridiculous. Merona was a sklavin, but she was still a female, and her instincts were likely whispering the same thing that Sinead’s did whenever Eneko came around. She’d certainly have to keep an eye on her devious little sklavin, but for now…Sinead would bide her time and wait to see what unfolded.
"you going to offer me anything?" Eneko’s suggestive murmur had Sinead glancing back to him, their bodies only inches apart. Could he tell what he was doing to both of them? Could he feel the heat and sexual tension snapping through the air? If he did, Sinead had a sneaking suspicion that he likely enjoying it. She snapped her jaws, clacking her teeth together so close to his cheek that she could feel his fur brush her lips. But she made sure to avoid grabbing flesh, and despite her physical rebuttal, she followed with purred words. ”Depends on what you’re after,” she said, and although she knew it was the food he meant, she raked her gaze across him and smiled. Without another word, she turned away from him, striding to where the lizards lay scattered on the floor. She knew the way she twitched from hot to cold was contradictive, one moment her gaze filled with smoldering desire and the next…total detachment. And yet she fully intended to cause confusion, because if he didn’t know how she truly felt, if he didn’t know whether she desired him or cared little for him…perhaps it would keep him coming back. It was a certainly a game, and Sinead had no qualms about admitting it. But now Merona was here, and she had to rein in her coquettishness, simply for the sake of appearing queenlier.
Scooping up the lizards, Sinead turned back to the two, dropping one in front of Merona, another before Eneko, and then the last at her own feet. Without saying a word, she stretched and lowered her body to the floor, silently nodding her permission to Merona to eat before starting on her own food. Eneko needed no permission from her, so she offered none. He would do as he pleased, like always.
When she was finished, she glanced from Merona to Eneko, considering. ”It wasn’t much,” she said to the brute, ”but we’re facing a bit of a drought right now, and lizards are all we have. Thankfully Merona’s gotten decent at catching them. Einheit might starve without her.”
It was a light jest, with just a trace of a compliment to the sklavin laced within the words. It was Sinead’s way of letting Merona know that she wasn’t upset with her. Yet, anyways.
”So you’ve come from the beach, and now you’re in the desert. Where to next, my vagabond?”

got a rhythm and it's all you need so everybody come and rock your thing Eneko was not oblivious to the tension lingering in the air and he savored it with each and every breath. So palpable was it that the confined space was thick, spurring his various cravings. He noticed Merona's gaze finally left him, the way her tail had tucked at the realization that she'd potentially interrupted an intimate moment between him and her alpha. Hell, if she'd only arrived a minute later he'd still have what he wanted, unless Sinead was shy because he certainly wasn't. Eneko was still disappointed by the sklavin's sudden appearance, but if he'd had it his way the pair of them would both be shuddering beneath him in his wake. He didn't think Sinead would go for it, though.
For a while he wasn't sure whether he wanted to growl in frustration at the lost opportunity or bask in their presence and everyone's sexual frustrations. It was definitely his environment. Even the clack of Sinead's teeth, oh so very close to his face, had a jolt traveling straight down his spine and spreading in his loins. He wasn't sure the implications of it but Gods, he could play the game of dominor and slave if she wanted to. But then she was moving away, leaving him only with the purr of her words. He let that same, mischievous glint lock onto her form as she turned away, shamelessly sliding over her hips and then to Merona. She was looking at him, wide-eyed, though he wasn't sure what for. He stared back at her for a moment, almost questioningly. What had her looking like she'd just discovered the meaning of the universe?
A lizard could suddenly be found at his paws and he jerked his gaze downward. Despite the testosterone clouding his mind, the brute was quick to devour his share and spare that moment to enjoy the morsel. It certainly wasn't much and Sinead was quick to echo this same thought. He grunted in response. A drought, eh? He wondered if that's why she still hadn't taken a mate (not that Eneko minded the absence of one) or considered pups. Would she settle down once the rains returned to this forsaken land? He hoped not. Eneko probably wasn't the male to give her that, yet the thought of another draped over her back stewed any irritation he had. She wasn't his, likely never would be, but Eneko always had a distaste for his own gender. Rude and bullish seemed to make up the majority of them and he'd had his share of unsavory encounters with other brutes. This place was all the more welcoming knowing he was the only one.
”So you’ve come from the beach, and now you’re in the desert. Where to next, my vagabond?”
Glancing back up to her, he didn't have to think on that to come up with an answer. He'd be going back to Dresna, as he'd made her a promise that he would return. Funny, now that he thought on it he'd never made that promise to Sinead and yet he always came back. "My vagabond," she had called him, causing something inside to reignite that fire and a strange clenching sensation within his chest. "Northeast, more than likely. Maybe Kanzeln. Nice and secluded that place is. Lots of... privacy," he shifted to look at Merona as he said this, though there wasn't any contempt in his gaze. "Unless you need assistance?" His eyes were on Sinead again and this time there were no underlying suggestions. Eneko never had to deal with a drought before. If the lands he was in were desolate and dry, he could move on to greener pastures. He wasn't sure what he could do that would help, surely he could not call forth the rains. Big game could be a specialty, as the brute was no pushover, but such a thing was almost non existent here. Perhaps he could just keep the lonely ladies company. "In any way possible, of course," there was that flirting tone again. He grinned at the Einheit alpha once more.
