Dresna I'm burning bridges shore to shoreCreeping away from Irrsin had long ago lost it's thrill. Dresna weaved in between trees, each step crunching loudly in the autumn leaves that coated the forest. She could hear the falls far ahead of her, the sound just a faint trickle as opposed to their normal roar. It was a beautiful early morning, with the sunlight illuminating the bright red-orange leaves and the air so crisp that inhaling felt good. It was the first day in some time that Dresna hadn't been assigned border patrol, and she wasn't entirely sure why. Zy had likely done something to misbehave and had been stuck with it, or maybe her parents had decided that they would instead. Either way, she certainly wasn't complaining. It had been so long since she had gotten to wander. The sound of the falls was growing steadily louder. Dresna moved from a smooth lope into an eager gallop, her muscles burning in the best way as she charged through the trees. Only once the falls were directly ahead of her did she slow to a walk, and then to a creep. Cautiously, the snow white she-wolf poked her head out into the open, her ears tipped forward, straining to hear anything other than the roaring of the water. Coast looks clear.Quiet as a mouse, Dresna slipped from her cover, down the path towards the clear pool below. Her paws crunched on gravel as she slid closer, hips swaying, tail wagging. The water was cold against her paw pads, and with every step that she took, tiny fish darted for cover. Staying only ankle deep, Dresna made her way to the opposite side of the pool, where rock covered her on one side. She had long ago learned that this was the best vantage point. While she would not be able to see anyone from above, she would certainly see them if they came out of the trees or down the path. More at ease now, the slender heir plopped down on the shore, breathing in deeply. Things had grown significantly less stressful in Irrsin now that the earth was healthy and the pack thrived again. While a leadership position was still not her idea of an ideal life, Dresna had come to terms with it. Kind of. Still she found herself dreaming, dreaming of freedom and adventures, dreaming of her siblings and the fun she could have had with them, dreaming of a mysterious brute that stole her away. The last one, of course, was entirely fictional. She had barely so much as flirted with a male, Zy excluded - and he was always excluded. She had grown up with the silly sklavin, and more than anything he had taught her how to flirt. Yawning, Dresna adjusted her position so that the sun shone on her back, warming her pelt. While it was obvious that she wasn't meant to have an adventurous life, a girl could still dream. [/blockquote]

Eneko Eneko had seen much in his short three years. He'd traveled from the barren wastes of Einheit to the dazzling forests of Regnen and everywhere in between and beyond. Sore paws had long since grown into calloused pads, worn from incessant wandering. And yet, never had he laid eyes on the falls of Kanzeln or heard her mighty roar. When he had first discovered the place, the deafening sound had been something of a hindrance to his mind. The male disliked not being able to get an angle on his surroundings, and the noise was definitely disorienting to those not used to it. However, he had found himself growing fond of it quite quickly for one sole reason; he was tired and weary, and the cascading waters had turned into somewhat of a lullaby that kept the problems of the world at bay. The rest of the world didn't matter here.
How long he'd been passed out in the surrounding shrubbery of the pool was anyone's guess. Eneko wasn't even sure what had stirred him back to consciousness. It most definitely was not the sound of an approaching wolf, as he could not pinpoint such silent approaches in this locale. Yet when he opened his lids the first thing he that greeted him was the radiant white pelt through the blanket of autumn leaves that would surely join their kin upon the forest floor within the coming days.
He had stared, unmoving but observant, at the stranger. She was a pretty thing, to be sure, and quite different in coat than the grays and browns possessed by the company he had most recently been relishing in. Eneko took to merely watching her at first, unsure if he should reveal himself or if he'd rather stare a little longer. There was always a chance she'd flee. In the end, it took only subtle sway of hips to get him on his feet.
Slowly he had stepped from his cover, blue eyes flicking between the she-wolf he suddenly longed for the company of and the rippling pools of water. His approach was relaxed and anything but threatening and only momentarily interrupted by a stretch that he simply couldn't fend off. The male put off a direct approach, however. She looked rather young, he found, though was unfazed by this. A slightly nervous glance around followed, as if assuring himself there was not another brute in the vicinity he may anger should he speak to her. Confident of their solitude, he sat himself at the water's edge a solid few yards away.
It was only now that he completely focused his attention on the female, gazing at her in a soft manner before darting his eyes to the pool and back gain. "Seems I'm not the only one to find some form of comfort in this place," he hummed, "do you come here often?" His coat was coarse and appeared as if he'd just had a roll on the forest floor (minus the leaves) and goodness, his ears looked as if he'd found himself in one too many brawls. Not at all the sleek and well-groomed brutes she may have been used to. He prayed to whatever Gods were listening that she thought him decent.

Dresna Movement detected out of the corner of her eye screamed that she was not alone. Dresna lifted her head quickly, her ears darting forward, alarmed. A large, scruffy looking brute had stepped out of the very bushes, it seemed, nearly giving her a heart attack. Shifting, she shuffled into a sitting position, angling her body so that her back was not entirely to the wall. She was always conscious of her position and escape routes, always cautious, as she had been taught to be. And yet… this male seemed anything but threatening. He moved towards her slowly, yet not directly, seating himself a fair distance away from her at the foot of the pool. She saw nothing alarming in his eyes when he looked at her, nothing troubling when she met his gaze. Tilting her head, she waited, expecting him to speak. He didn’t disappoint her. ”Seems I'm not the only one to find some form of comfort in this place. Do you come here often?”More than he likely realized, his words put her at ease. While she wasn’t entirely relaxed, Dresna unclenched her muscles and smoothed her down in the few places that it had bristled. He hadn’t followed her here; he simply had found his own way, just as she had. After glancing around quickly to assure herself that he was the only surprise she would find, Dresna met his gaze again and dipped her head in acknowledgement. ”Whenever I can,” she replied in her high, clear voice. She gestured at the water with her muzzle as she went on. ”There’s just something so…relaxing about the sound of the falls.”At least she wasn’t the only one who thought so. From the looks of it, the stranger had been quite relaxed, wherever he had been hiding. There were flecks of dirt and twigs in his fur, and his ears…she squinted at them, taking note of the notches. He certainly wasn’t the type of brute that she normally associated with, but then again, he was the type that looked like he had seen his fair share of adventure. Maybe he would entertain her with stories for a while, stories of wherever he had traveled, if he had traveled… Down, girl. You don’t even know his name.”I’m sorry, how rude of me,” she said suddenly, shaking her head and laughing at herself. Even when she was away from Irrsin, her manners and etiquette did not fail her. ”I’m Dresna.” A heartbeat later, she regretted it. What if he recognized her name? It was entirely possible. Who knew how long he had lived around here? The very last thing that Dresna wanted was to be recognized and treated differently, but all she could do now was hope. Trying her hardest to chase her worry from her mind, she turned her bright blue eyes onto him, waiting patiently for his name. He certainly wasn’t anyone that she recognized. He was handsome, she had to admit, in a rugged sort of way… [/blockquote]

Eneko The she-wolf had seemed startled by his presence at first, yet calmed quickly enough to ease him. He disliked unnecessary confrontation and for the slightest moment he had been worried she might growl at him and tell him to go away. Eneko did not want to leave. Not just yet, at least. Perhaps after he got to know this stunning creature and had his fill of socialization, he could disappear once more. Maybe he'd even go crawling back to Einheit.
"Yes, it is very relaxing. I must admit I passed out for a while," chuckled the male, not fighting the slight smile that graced him or the good-natured twinkle in his eye. The stranger seemed to bring out the better side of him already, something he was most thankful for. She seemed neither conceited as some females were nor over-aggressive. Had she been nothing more than rude or abrasive, he most likely would have turned and went on his way.
The variation in personalities that Eneko had encountered on his adventures was staggering. He had made his fair share of enemies that he wished to leave behind, friends he hoped he may someday stumble upon once more and, on occasion, lovers. He so missed their warmth. This snow-white female and him seemed to be off to a decent start already and he briefly wondered which category she may fall. Eneko did not take interactions lightly and, for better or worse, he had made it a habit of getting attached quickly.
Perking his ears at the introduction and counting his graces for such swift progress, the male found himself pacing a step or two closer before seating again. "Dresna?" He tasted it on his tongue for a long moment, rolling it over and relishing before deciding he quite liked that name. "That's a lovely name," he was sure to compliment, pausing for a moment before sliding her a look that quickly morphed from merely friendly to something with a hint more mischief. "A lovely name for a lovely lady." He couldn't help himself, yet there was no deceit or lie underlying his words. He was honest.
Circling his space once before lowering himself to the ground, the male relaxed by the shore in a casual manner with his head lifted, as if there was not a thing in the world that could phase him and wholly confident in his being. It was mostly a mask, of course, one everyone wore at some point or another when fending off their demons. His were not for the world to see, however, and he made sure of it. "My name is Eneko. Glad to meet you. Are you from around these parts?"

Dresna "Dresna?"She held her breath, waiting, wishing, as he repeated her name and shuffled a few steps closer. She didn’t know why it was so important to start with a clean slate, for him not to recognize her, but it was. She had learned long ago that when brutes learned that she was the heir of Irrsin, future alpha, they tended to show interest in her for that fact alone. She didn’t wish to be around someone who only wanted her for what she had to offer, however. She had grown so sick of that… ”That's a lovely name. A lovely name for a lovely lady."Dresna practically breathed a sigh of relief as the brute put her fears to rest, simultaneously flattering her as well. Had it not been for her thick fur, he easily would have been able to see how her skin flushed pink. She had been called lovely and beautiful before, but something about the sly look in his eye and the way he spoke made her feel like a naïve pup all over again. Focus, Dresna. Don’t make him think that you’re a child."My name is Eneko. Glad to meet you. Are you from around these parts?"Eneko. She repeated the word over and over in her mind, committing his name to memory, relishing it. Something about the brute seemed…different. Putting her thoughts aside, Dresna focused instead on his question, wondering how much she should tell him. She obviously couldn’t lie about who she was forever, but…for now, he was better off not knowing. It wasn’t as if it would make a difference, anyways. There was always a chance Eneko wouldn’t even know who her parents were. ”Oh, yes. I’ve lived here all of my life,” she said, which wasn’t a lie. If she could stick to these half-truths, maybe she wouldn’t feel so bad. ”My parents met here at these falls, actually. I heard them talk about it so much that I came to see what all the fuss was about one day, and I fell in love.”She smiled fondly at the memory, before tilting her head towards him, smiling coyly. "My mother had the right idea. It seems like handsome brutes frequent these falls."She gave a playful flick of her tail, before realizing that now was her opportunity to ask him about his own adventures. He seemed so much more experienced than her, so much wiser and a bit older. Without realizing it, Dresna shuffled closer to him, leaving a small gap between their bodies for politeness sake. ”What about you?” She asked eagerly, a sparkle in her eyes that betrayed her curiosity. ”How long have you been here?”There was always a chance that he had lived here for a while, too, but Dresna doubted that. Something about him seemed so foreign, so new, and her heart fluttered with anticipation. She had originally come here seeking solitude, but now she found that she didn’t mind his company at all. He didn’t poke and prod at her like most people did, didn’t demand to be told things and stick his nose where it didn’t belong. It was…nice. [/blockquote]

Eneko He watched in elation as the she-wolf shuffled ever nearer to the point Eneko longed desperately for her to close that gap entirely. Her willingness to share in conversation and company surprised him, somewhat, though he was not sure why. Eneko was not the big bad brute that mothers warned their daughters about. At least not in the typical sense of the word. He did not go out of his way to break hearts and certainly had never forced himself upon anyone. He grew attached to those he enjoyed easily, and yet had a certain habit of leaving them high and dry for prolonged periods of time. Some might say he had commitment issues, and this was partially true. While he was not afraid of commitment, he also was not always sure how to be committed. At times it flew right over his head that he might have been a horrible friend because he always left.
He raised his front half from the lounging position he had settled in minutes before. It was increasingly difficult to sit there, but he did not wish to intrude on her personal space, either. Instead he was left with observing her for a long moment, drinking in the luxurious coat that wrapped her slender body and making no attempt to hide his staring. Her coat gleamed so flawlessly that it created a stark contrast to the ruffled, coarse fur he possessed. The very fact that she was obviously from an entirely different world than his only fascinated him more.
The female seemed to be playing along with his games, much to his glee. She even returned the flattery that he had offered her. He burned lightly with desire, which was not extinguished with where he took the conversation next. He was enjoying this. "Is that so? And they are still together?" He had asked, before allowing the ghost of a smirk to form. "Sounds like they had quite the wild night. Plan to follow in their footsteps?" It was difficult to tell if he were merely joking or being serious. And was he suggesting that she repeat history with himself or some other male she might happen upon in the future? He left this interpretation up to her, knowing full well which he preferred.
"Myself?" Eneko was genuinely surprised by her question, and seemed to give this a good amount of thought. "I only just found this place yesterday and I admit, most of that time was spent asleep," he finally chuckled. "I'm from nowhere, really. Been moving from place to place since I can remember." For him, it was easily shrugged off as normality. He was never quite sure how many went to and fro about the lands as he did, nor had he given it much thought. "I think I may have been born in a cave, though. Somewhere far from here," he added in a passive manner, almost as an afterthought.

Dresna The longer that Dresna sat and talked with Eneko, the longer she found herself relaxing, growing comfortable in his presence. The way he looked at her, with his eyes roaming slowly over her entire frame, made her feel so…grown up, so desired. Fighting a shiver that was starting at the base of her spine, Dresna inched even closer, the tips of the ivory hairs on her side brushing lightly against Eneko’s flank. They were only inches apart now, but Dresna couldn’t bring herself to push any further. Not yet. "Is that so? And they are still together? Sounds like they had quite the wild night. Plan to follow in their footsteps?"”They’re still together,” Dresna replied, before pausing, considering her next words carefully. He was smirking at her in a way that made her heart pound, and involuntarily, she returned the motion. Her lips pulled up to form a flirtatious half-smile, her bright blue eyes narrowing suggestively as she tilted her head to one side. ”As for following in their footsteps…I’ve thought about it. Especially recently.” With the emphasis on the last word, Dresna raked her eyes across his muscled frame. Let him take that however he pleased. Flirting so openly and shamelessly gave the Irrsin princess a thrill that she hadn’t felt in months, and never from a male. She had daydreamed of rugged brutes stealing her away, adventuring with her, taking her places that she had never been, but never had Dresna thought she’d actually find one. As Eneko spoke, however, she felt her hopes awaken. He had traveled, and from the sounds of it, he had traveled a lot. It was the life she longed for, the life she would never have, and just hearing about it set her mind alight again. She was envious, but at the same time, incredibly curious. ”What’s the most beautiful place you’ve ever been?” She asked, slightly breathless. Embarrassed at her behavior, she tipped her ears back and angled her muzzle away bashfully. ”I’m sorry if I’m prying. I’ve always loved stories about faraway places, and adventures,” she explained. ”I’ve never ventured far from my home. Never anywhere that everyone else in the area hasn’t been, anyways. I want to so badly, but I suppose that’s not the life for me.”She shrugged nonchalantly, trying to force down the wistful longing that had awaken and ached in her chest. Almost as if she couldn’t help it, she was leaning towards him again, trying to patiently await the answer to her first question – if he chose to answer it. Already her thoughts had wandered far away from Irrsin and her family. Instead they were focused on this new, mysterious brute that she had encountered. The gods must have smiled on me today. I wanted adventure, and here he is. [/blockquote]

Eneko His eyes wandered shamelessly over her frame the nearer she inched. Oh boy, did they wander. From her tail to the tip of her nose and everywhere in between, he drank her in like a wolf that hadn't seen something so delicious in a long while. Eneko did not want to seem desperate nor as if there were only one very obvious thing on his mind. Except, there was, for the most part, only one thing on his mind right then and her growing proximity did nothing to help his desires. And her words - her words only ignited his yearning until it was nearly insatiable.
Finding all fours, he circled the she-wolf once, steps gradual and slow because he was both busy admiring her and because he did not want to frighten her off. "The most beautiful place?" Reiterated Eneko upon seating himself on her other side, so close their fur brushed and he could nearly feel the electricity between their bodies. How difficult it was to keep his mind on a track capable of comprehending her questions. It had been too long since he had felt this alive.
He considered her words for a good moment. What was there to say? 'The most beautiful place is anywhere you are,' would have been the line a desperate rookie might have used. While he may have been desperate, he certainly didn't think himself as low as a rookie. And so, the male decided on the good old fashioned truth. "Hangen Mesa. You can see almost everything there. It's like the whole world placed at your paws," he smiled fondly at the memory of that place.
”I've never ventured far from my home. Never anywhere that everyone else in the area hasn't been, anyways. I want to so badly, but I suppose that’s not the life for me.”
Eneko turned a smoldering gaze on her once more, regarding her with fiery passion that he had not felt in quite a while. "It can be your life, if you wish it to be. You could come with me. I can show you the mesa and beyond," he offered this so fast it surprised even himself, his breath brushing over a soft ear as he spoke. Despite his own surprise, there was a lingering honesty in his voice. And yet he placed a single paw upon her back in such an intimate manner that Eneko would not have been shocked if the young female skirted away from the touch. However, he did not advance further than that yet, staying any movement to gauge her reaction.

Dresna When he moved to circle her, instead of worrying, Dresna relished the attention. The way his eyes roamed his frame made her shiver, and when he sat down very near to her, she found herself leaning towards him. The scent of him flooded her nostrils, masculine and earthy, tempting her more than anything else ever had. It was hard for her to gather her thoughts long enough to listen as he mused over her question, turning it over in his mind until he finally had an answer for her.
"Hangen Mesa. You can see almost everything there. It's like the whole world placed at your paws."
She nodded along with his words. Dresna had never been to Hangen Mesa herself, but she had heard her pack members speak of it, and she could only imagine how beautiful it was. There was another pang of yearning that rushed through her, fiercer than ever. She wanted to see these places, she wanted to be there with the world beneath her, feeling the wind brush lightly through her fur. She wanted it so very badly she could practically taste it.
"It can be your life, if you wish it to be. You could come with me. I can show you the mesa and beyond."
Eneko's words seemed to speak to her very soul, his warm breath tickling her ear as he spoke. He was so close to her, and once more, she trembled with desire. His paw on her back was startling, but welcome, and she did not move away. His words had painted a picture for her, so clear and vivid that her breath hitched. She wanted it. She wanted him.
"You can show me a lot of things," she said very softly, peering up at him coyly. Her words surprised herself, but they fueled her, pumping courage through her veins.
The morning was descending into afternoon as she stood and placed herself before him. Her heart pounded hard in her chest as the sun warmed her back; she had never done anything like this, but then again, the flames of desire had never licked at her skin so fiercely. Feeling like a dainty young she-wolf and no longer like a pup, she cast a beckoning glance over her shoulder at Eneko, her eyes blazing with blatant longing and need. There could be no mistaking what she wanted, she was sure of it, and she was almost certain that he wanted her just as badly.
Here, beneath the warm summer sun with the falls roaring in the background, Dresna felt alive.

Eneko Eneko could hardly believe the offer he had extended to the female. Come with him? Hah! Since when had he been one to chaperon fairly young and inexperienced she-wolves? Heck, how many of them had he had the chance to encounter? His life had been laden with females quite the opposite than this one. Females that were well versed with restless brutes like himself and happy to bed down for a short period of time and harbor no quarrels when he disappeared hours later, as if he had never been there at all. Not females with obvious inexperience and paws which had never stepped far beyond the borders, unfamiliar with heartbreak and males seemingly oblivious to it. Except, the prospect of this gorgeous and oddly intoxicating individual following him wherever he may want her was a shockingly tempting idea to his current psyche. What was he going to do after? And damn it, why should he care? Never had he been the type to turn his nose up at such a prize.
The thought was whisked away and he was overcome with such deep lust and pure need that the male didn't care for much else at that moment. To hell with being any ounce the responsible one. He never possessed much of the quality, anyway. And with her rousing gaze cast back at him, the almost non-existent hesitation displayed dissolved as if it had never been there in the first place. "You can show me a lot of things," her whispered words sent a blazing fire straight through the entirety of his body and Eneko was finally lost of any rationale and instead replaced with the desire to show her everything.
--ooo--
Any sense of time had been lost on the brute. Indeed, all he was aware of was the pounding of his own heartbeat and the familiar sense of bliss and complete satisfaction that washed over him. He'd parted with the she-wolf not a minute before, but had yet to speak a word. If he had allowed himself to curl up under the same brush in which he had occupied earlier, he might have. And yet at the same time he felt awake and alive. There was a certain lazy, yet somehow far overconfident zest to his stride when he stepped two or three paces away. It might have appeared he was leaving already. And then he looked at Dresna as he regained himself and all of a sudden she had a name again and Eneko was finding the thought of wandering off an unappealing idea.
He liked her. He had decided this even before their "adventure", sure, but now he really liked her. The male strode back towards her those few strides, a look adorning his features that suggested he would very much have liked to have another go. He circled her once and then stood by her side, his fur mingling with and brushing her own. He liked being close to her. He wondered if he looked good next to her. "Would you come with me?" He asked, a certain husk to his voice as he whispered to her, though he wondered if she truly harbored enough affection to actually wander off with him. "Or show me your home land. Can't say I've seen much of it." Oh, how he loved new places and new things. Eneko sent a quick flick of the eyes over her frame and their surroundings. What had he gotten himself into?

Dresna Bliss. That was the one feeling that curled in Dresna’s chest, nestling close like a burrowing animal. Warmth flooded her weary bones as Eneko’s weight lifted off of her, her slender legs trembling so much that she forced herself to sit. Being with a brute had been nothing like she had imagined, and everything she had longed for. She had expected to fumble around, embarrassed and inexperienced, but with Eneko it had been…amazing. He had made her feel dainty with his body settled over hers, had made her feel beautiful as his muzzle brushed her ear. He had set a fire in her very core, had awakened things that she had never known slumbered inside of her, like passion and longing and fire. Was this what she had heard the she-wolves in her pack giggling and whispering about, then? This feeling of liberation? Even her sore muscles felt deliciously satisfying as she stretched her neck, trying to gain control of her breathing. She couldn’t look too flustered, after all.
Movement made her lift her muzzle, only to find Eneko’s back turned towards her as he moved several paces towards the forest. Immediately, panic slammed into her with enough force to take her breath away. Just like that, the warmth was gone from her as a single wild thought flashed through her head. He’s leaving…just like that? Eneko had been the first male she had given herself to, and for a moment her stomach turned as dread gripped at her insides. Had she done something wrong? Had she disappointed him somehow? Here she was, panting and shivering like a fool, and he was already looking for a way to escape her. God, how had she messed up so terribly?
Suddenly he stopped and turned, his eyes flashing in that wonderfully devilish way, a grin pulling at his muzzle. That was the Eneko she had melted beneath just moments before; with a soft sigh, she relaxed. It was ridiculous how quickly fear and desperation had gripped her, if not slightly unnerving. Affection was a confusing thing that Dresna hadn’t quite grasped. But then he sat beside her, his side brushing hers and sending her pulse skyrocketing; just like that, her doubt was gone.
"Would you come with me? Or show me your home land. Can't say I've seen much of it."
A image flitted through Dresna’s head with his words; a daydream, really. She could imagine crossing the Irrsin borders with this hulking, brutishly handsome male at her side, her fur practically radiating his scent. Kasimira and Tortuga would be livid, surely, and just like that Dresna knew that she couldn’t take him there. And she couldn’t tell him. Not yet, anyways. Not so soon after they had shared such an intimate moment. Later, she promised herself, before giving Eneko a slow, warm smile.
”I don’t think I’m quite ready to leave you yet,” she admitted, her blue eyes flickering with mischief as she jerked her head in the general direction of the only place she had in mind. ”Have you been to Freiheit Shores? I’ve been once, and I’ve been dying to go again. The ocean is so beautiful.”
The last time she had been there, she had encountered Marzell. The memory was still too difficult for her to process, so she shied away from the thought, pressing herself closer to Eneko instead. Maybe one day she would be able to tell him about Marzell, and Adelina, and even quirky Zy. One day…

Eneko Eneko had been completely oblivious to the panic welling up within Dresna when he'd taken those few steps away, though it was not purposely overlooked. He'd grown far too attached to several she-wolves in his time, sauntering back and forth across the lands and somehow always ending up with old friends and old lovers. He had a caring nature about him. He valued the relationships he formed, though one wouldn't guess it given his current lifestyle. He didn't like to think himself as a breaker of hearts. No, he could just be blind. Despite this, none of the others were on his mind right then. He was too focused on this creature. She captivated him more than any he had stumbled upon before.
Despite being unaware of her momentary panic, he had caught her flustered trembling and subtle efforts to collect herself after their little romp. The brightly colored female was so new, so fresh, so unlike his well-versed she-wolves dotted across the land. He couldn't help but flash a devilish grin her way. He wanted to keep her, even if it meant trailing her back to her own home. As it turned out, she had a different suggestion for him and Eneko was none the wiser about her hesitation. It wasn't often (or ever) that anyone offered to take him home to meet the parents.
”Have you been to Freiheit Shores?"
All Eneko could picture right then was this gorgeous she-wolf dancing through the lapping waves. Her coat clung to every delicious curve of her body and maybe she even shivered once or twice. Perhaps the chill of the coastal winds would send her back to him, begging once more for the warmth of his embrace. Yes, he quite liked her idea. "Not in some time," he managed to sound mostly unfazed by his imaginings, "but I'd love to see it again." It was the truth, actually. Eneko had always possessed an eye for the scenic. He loved the sweeping vistas one could find throughout the lands. He didn't add that it was only a bonus that he'd have her to add to the ocean's beauty. What a cheesy line that would have been. Eneko wasn't sure if he was ready to be that much of a hopeless romantic.
When Eneko found his paws, he discovered his own legs were slightly weary. It was amazing how one could feel so sated and yet so hungry for more at the exact same moment. And there was something about the company of a pretty and fascinating female that fed his pride. He turned for their destination with a new-found confidence in his stride, assured of his place in the world even if just for a short while. Who knew how restless he would grow come the passing of time, if at all. He cast her another devilish look over his shoulder, enticing her to follow.
