ENEKO
"when the devil came to visit me
he said son i am your enemy
fear me
but it came to my surprise
i was drawn by the fire"
he said son i am your enemy

but it came to my surprise
i was drawn by the fire"
this is me in the flesh,
NAME: Eneko
NICKNAME(S): Neko
PRONUNCIATION: En-E-ko
POSITION: Free-roamer
taste the sky,
AGE: 3 1/2 years
GENDER: Male
BREED: Timber Wolf
HEIGHT: 32 inches
APPEARANCE:
Eneko possesses a coat painted in various hues and shades of grey. The top part of his body from his brow to the beginnings of his tail is mostly splashed in a dark grey, with the lower half of his body fading into a far lighter grey or an off-white. His ears are short with visible wear and tear on both yet a small chunk taken from the right ear. His tail is short and bushy and mostly the same color as the lower half of his body, but tipped in dark grey. He possesses a more blunt muzzle than some of his kin, with stout legs and large paws and an overall compact, yet well proportioned build wrapped in a thick pelt. His eyes are a pale blue and the male carries himself with a lackadaisical stride that still manages to portray the confidence he typically displays.
thoughts that make me go insane,
PERSONALITY:
Eneko has always been a confident wolf, having been raised by a mother who made sure her pups knew the world at their paws was there if only they went looking. The male has rarely remained in one place for too long, going to and fro around the lands as the seasons pass. He can be restless even at the best of times, brought on by his mother's inconsistent movement through his puphood. The saying "old habits die hard" would probably be appropriate when it comes to this itch to always be moving. He can sit still, sure, but remaining within a small vicinity for a prolonged period of time has never been his forte and even popping from one place to another and back again is better than curling up in the same place for more than a few weeks. There is little deep reasoning for this - it is purely habit.
He is a respectable wolf by first appearance. While confident, he does not typically oose arrogance. He is polite while not sugary sweat towards strangers, instead preferring to skirt around them if no interest is piqued. Other brutes are a concern of his and will typically go avoided unless they threaten him in some manner to begin with in which case anything could erupt. He has a short fuse hidden somewhere beneath his typically relaxed exterior and when discovered it can blow up and wreak havoc. If felt unavoidable, he can easily become a far more volatile wolf than normal. Individuals he's had previous unsavory encounters with he may go out of his way to provoke, especially other males. However, he prefers to avoid fights all together and most physical violence that comes from him is from self defense or defense of someone he cares for.
He seems more prone to friendship with the female gender even when it remains platonic. Having been raised with his mother and sister, it is in his nature to gravitate towards females for any form of companionship and he feels less hostility towards them. He's a flirt by nature and an easy one-nighter as it takes little encouragement on the other's side to grab his interest. Even so, he enjoys forming attachments to most even when it is not returned and may become over-protective over those he finds he likes. He can be a control freak in extreme situations - not over another themselves, but over what happens to them.
all over my shoulder,
FATHER: Unknown
MOTHER: Seneca
SIBLINGS: Allace (sister)
HISTORY:
The early years of Eneko's life were fairly uneventful. There was never an occasion where he met his father and never found a reason to ask, instead wandering aimlessly with an ever-moving mother and litter-mate sister. They would hunker down in one place for a week or two before moving off in search of... something. What Seneca was after, Eneko was never quite sure, but he followed like a dutiful son. This instilled in him a need to always be moving. While outside interactions with other wolves were a rare thing due to his mother's skittish behavior around strangers, he was sure he learned a fair amount about the world from his small family.
Seneca was perfectly happy having her two offspring follow her from one place to the other, even as they grew and aged. She assured them that they could make it on their own, though always clung to their company. However, in time Eneko decided he wanted to make his own way in the world and grew tired of going left when he wanted to go right. And thus, he left one day with brief farewells to soften the blow. Regret for abandoning his family followed him relentlessly for quite a while, though it was too late to go back by the time it grew so strong. What became of his mother and sister after his departure is unknown to him, and he is nearly afraid to find out even though he thinks of them quite often.
It was during his fresh new independence that Eneko came to realize how very different the world was outside the confines of the small world his mother had built for them. It took little time to figure out he didn't typically enjoy the company of half those he encountered, met with frequent hostility. He has clung to attempting indifference towards those he does not know, especially other males as he'd had part of an ear torn off during a particularly hostile encounter. He has a chip on his shoulder he can't shake off because of it, no matter how valiantly he tries. While capable of defending himself he prefers to avoid trouble, often remaining alone yet always longing for company.
