this is me in the flesh,
NAME: WaterSinger
NICKNAME(S): Water, Singer
PRONUNCIATION: Water-Singer
POSITION: dominor
taste the sky,
AGE: 3
GENDER: Female
BREED: Grey Wolf/Timber Wolf
HEIGHT: 28 inches.
APPEARANCE: Black fur ebbs from the healthily-damp nose pad, complete with black leather, towards the fluffy black tail hanging neatly between lightly muscled back-legs. Along her ribs, faint mottling of silver and red fur provides a rather light counterpoint for her predominantly dark body. ‘Singer stands a proud twenty eight inches from ground to shoulder, her eyes a gleaming gold in the shadows of her fine-boned head. Built for speed, her legs take up most of her height, slender and fit for running. Her coat hangs heavy on her bones, making her look as though she were a further ten pounds heavier than the ninety pounds she carried with pride. Every step this proud she-wolf makes is graceful and flowing, much like the shadows her coat takes after. It’s not to be said that she was without flaw- glimmering across one golden eye and the black fur surrounding it is the faint silver of scar tissue that can be found under her jaw also. Darkness doesn’t linger in her though, her eyes lit up from within by amusement and good humour.
thoughts that make me go insane,
PERSONALITY: ‘Singer is a light-hearted she-wolf, with a personality that is completely at odds with the way she looks. A pup-loving individual, she possesses a keen sense of humour that at times will take morbid, sarcastic or even self-deprecating twists. She’ll mock someone to their face, before sauntering up to them with a confidence her slender body shows and apologising as sweetly as she’s able to…but don’t think of her as a fool to be trodden over. She has a temper on her, one that flares up as soon as the wrong buttons are pushed- namely if she spots someone pushing around a slave that doesn’t deserve it. Her teeth may be sharp, but her wit can be sharper and her insults rather cold. She’ll hold a grudge, never doubt that. Anyone who wrongs her will either find a prank played upon them or even at the mercy of her acidic tongue as she harangues them.
all over my shoulder,

HISTORY: WaterSinger was born as the only surviving pup in her litter, and the proud parents held off naming her for days; weeks, until her personality peeked through and every time she attempted to howl gave her a name…a rather unusual one. WaterSinger grew healthily within her pack, cossetted as she went through the training one of her ilk required- hunting and roaming to learn a territory. Her dark coat led to the darker wolves in the pack showing her how to use the shadows in order to become a better hunter. She was softly-spoken and swift to anger- consequently, she was quick to apologise, too.
Of course, in a story like hers…there had to be a male involved. Idur was a rather stunning looking white and grey wolf, with the barest hint of black speckled throughout the grey and he pulled her from her family when she was almost two, coercing her with soft words and gentle touches…and like any young pup, in the first blush of love, she fell for him. Hook, line and sinker, she was his. Her every thought was passed through his first and she was enslaved to him when she didn’t need to be. It was when he attacked her, seizing her entire face in her jaws that she changed and became aware of what she was becoming. That was the first, and last time, he laid tooth upon her, and she attacked back, driving him away. Having such estrangement between herself and her birth-pack, she reinvented her personality, becoming harsher as she roamed for a pack that would suit her.
