Stolz paced in his den, the clicking of his feet silenced by the soft padding of moss. So much had happened in the past moon, new pack members had joined, and most of all, Elektra had been sent by his father. He knew that he had to call a meeting and announce her arrival, as well as let some of the other pack members meet. Cammie had just joined their rank as a Dame, and he didn't know if she had ran into anybody yet. He smirked, they would be in quite a surprise when they ran into her. She was quite the feisty one. His mind then switched to Sayang, the beautiful dog that had joined his ranks. She was pregnant, and he wanted to check on her and see how she was fairing. Then there was Scabir, a quick thinking wolf who was pleasant to converse with. Nodding his head, he trotted out of his dead and into his territory. He knew where he would go, there was a clearing that they could meet in. He did not want to call this meeting at Treffen Cliff, that was for calling a meeting to all packs or hearing about wolves problems. With his mind made up, he broke into a full out sprint.
When the large male reached the clearing he looked around, his ears moving to pick up any signs of movement. All he could hear was the rustle of prey and his own breathing. Good. Standing in the middle of the clearing Stolz lifted his head, a powerful howl slipping from his lips. It hung in the air and danced in the wind, a powerful baritone calling forth all of his pack members. Once his song was finished, he lowered his maw and licked his chops, dancing from paw to paw in anticipation. This was the first meeting held by him since he had claimed these lands, and he was a bit nervous. His vivid green eyes scanned the horizon, his tail and head held up high. He was proud of his lands, proud of what he had come here to do. Ravensbruck was a better place now that he was here, he could feel it in the air.
As he waited, the male began to pant. The spring air had began to chase away the snow, and now it was all gone from his forest. The heat was beginning to become stronger, bringing up new life from the earth. The prey would be plentiful... Stolz trailed off, a thought springing into his mind. Food! That is what this meeting needed. Dropping into a crouch, he crawled towards the edge of the clearing, his mouth dropping open to take in the smells around him. The sweet scent of a fawn tickled his fancy, and he knew it was only a few weeks old. The meat would be tender, perfect for Sayang and her unborn pups. Without any further thoughts, he crept forward.
The multi-coloured male marched back to the clearing, dragging his prize with him. He knew that the smell of fresh kill would bring his pack to him even faster. His stomach growled, and as he reached the center of the clearing he dug into the fawn. The meat was tender and sweet, just as he knew it would be. He took only a few greedy gulps before pulling back. He needed to save some for the rest of Koravelle. Licking his now red muzzle, Stolz sat down and waited.

Scabir
Koravelle was...strange.
Strange in the regard that Scabir had very little to do, that was, besides from patrol the borders. So far, nothing exciting had happened. Not that his life had been exciting before Koravelle, either, and he certainly wasn't complaining..having a purpose was much better than wandering about aimlessly, sometimes trespassing on claiemd lands. In fact, Scabir felt a bit..important. He knew that he was one of the many pair of eyes that belonged to Koravelle, and strangely, he took his job seriously. He did not take many things seriously at all, but when it came to his new pack..Scabir found that he was becoming more and more determined to prove his worth. Never before had Scabir felt like he had been worth much, or like he had a job to accomplish. In fact, he had felt rather useless for quite some time. But now, he had a very important purpose, and he wasn't going to be the one to mess up his duties.
One spring day found Scabir patrolling, as usual, striding up the lengths of Koravelle's borders, eyes peeled for any strange activity. It seemed as if it would be another worry-free day when suddenly, a howl pierced the silence. Scabir paused mid-stride, glancing backwards, deeper into Koravelle. It had certianly sounded like Stolz, the King and someone who Scabir found himself actually liking, strangely enough. With a single backwards glance at the border, he turned and hurried off, weaving around trees and leaping over underbrush as he moved towards the sound. A rabbit scurried across his path, terrified as it leaped away, but Scabir paid it no mind. He had eaten earlier, and his stomach was still plesantly full. Despite how much his food intake was picking up, however, full days of sprinting along the borders kept Scabir in the slender shape he needed to be, as he performed his duties best when he was lighter.
His paws slid easily across the leaves as he finally spotted Stolz standing in a clearing before him. Nodding his head respectfully, Scabir stopped a decent distance away, lifting his head to glance up at the sky. He inhaled once, deeply, before looking back to Stolz and the fawn at the King's feet. He could remember clearly the day that he had wandered into Koravelle, not entirely seeking a home, but finding one anyways. He had been drawn to this place simply due to rumors, whispered tales of a tyrant King who ruled with an iron fist and a bloodthirsty lust. Turned out, the rumors were complete and utter bullshit. Stolz was a fair, amusing wolf who wasn't cruel at all. Far from a dictator, Stolz had openly welcomed Scabir. Although it gave him a weird feeling in his stomach to admit it, Scabir appreciated that. A lot.
"Came as quick as I could," he said with a sly grin, glancing around. He assumed that others would be arriving, others that he had yet to meet. It was clear that Stolz's howl had been meant to call everyone forth, and admittedly, it made Scabir a bit nervous. He didn't do well around others, but he was definitely going to have to learn.

CAMMIE The warm sun and the chilly breeze that swept through Koravelle was a nice mix, or so Cammie thought. She found herself lolling about under some sort of tree, head on her paws, eyes half-closed as she hummed softly to herself. So far, she hadn't met anyone else. She had only been her perhaps a day, and she was still awed and amazed, although she would not admit it. Koravelle was beautiful, and secretly, she was glad that Stolz had recused her from the disgusting hell hole, otherwise known as Auktion Rock. Before she had known it, her short-lived slave life had been put to an end, and although the idea of being introduced to a new pack made her slightly nervous, no one would know that. After all, who really ever saw Cammie when she was anything less than perfect? She snorted. No one.
Somewhere in the distance, a howl sounded, and Cammie's eyes widened, alert. As the howl wore on, it quickly dawned on her that it was Stolz calling. For a moment, she did not move. Finally the howl ended, and Cammie realized that already she would be meeting the rest of the pack. A soft sigh slipped from her muzzle as she slowly sat up, unfolding her long legs and climbing to her feet. She stretched, red-orange body extending before returning to a more natural posture. Shaking herself, she glanced around before starting off at a slow walk, as if she were leisurely strolling through a park of flowers. She was certainly in no hurry, despite the calling. Cammie got where she was going on her own time, and on her own terms.
Finally, after a while of her slow stroll, she heard a voice ahead of her. It was unfamiliar, and with a frown she moved into the clearing. The first thing she noticed was Stolz, standing before a small, dead fawn. The second thing she noticed was a scrawny stranger, who turned to look her up and down. Holding herself proudly, almost arrogantly, she turned her attention back to Stolz, honey eyes flickering as she smiled slowly, her tail swaying back and forth. Her head tilted to one side, ears flickering as she edged closer. Not too close, her mind warned, and she stopped a foot or so away. Don't forget that he is both your King and your superior, as much as you may not like it. Yes, she remembered that. She had, in fact, toned down her flirting very, very much. That was the least she could do. She could not, however, keep her eyes from quickly wandering over Stolz body, and then turning to do the same to the other male. What could she say? If they had xy chromosomes, Cammie was probably going to get a little close. Not to say that she was easy, however. Cammie was always, always difficult.
"You called," she began in her low, sultry voice, "I came." That was all he was getting, for now. Cammie didn't speak much, but when she did, people tended to listen.

Elektra Elektra had become quite bored over the past weeks. She had decided to remain in her lands and look over them, but nothing had happened while Stolz was away, and she had found herself in their den more often than not. The day found her sitting in a den, not the one she and Stolz shared, but close to the border of their territory. She was lying in the back, away from the suns rays and in the shade, gnawing on some creatures bones. It had been a recent kill, but it had been stripped of it's life giving flesh, and Elektra was attempting to get the marrow out from the thin white bones.
She sighed softly as she worked, her mind wandering. None of her packmates had stopped by here, and Stolz had been off on Alpha business. Lekk's decision of staying here had been on her own, whether or not Stolz had approved. She had done a few patrols, adding her scent to his marks, but that was pretty much it. Giving up on the bones, she stood, stretched, and padded out of the strange den, looking about her with bright eyes. The snow had melted, and the day was gorgeous in its warmth and glowing sky.
As she walked around, her mind again wandered. Cuthail was at the front of her thoughts, and they dwelled there devotedly. He was her little secret, and she adored him more than anything else in this world. She shifted guiltily, looking about her for Stolz, waiting for him to snap at her about him. But she was utterly, emptily alone. A sigh escaped her maw, and her guilt once again shifted. She was hurting Cuthail. His heart was breaking with every day, and she did nothing to stop it. If Lekk had been wiser, she would have let him walk away. But she failed to do that, and she had failed him.
As she spiraled down in a tumult of guilty thoughts, a howl broke her concentration, and she looked up, ears pricked. It was Stolz' howl, and he was calling the pack together. A smile flicked across her face. So, Stolz was back, and he was finally calling a pack meeting. For the first time, she would be able to meet her pack members, and they would know who she was. She felt like a pup claiming to be an alpha, without knowing any of her subjects and they not knowing her. She snorted to herself as she leapt into a fast gait, eating the distance quickly. She followed her nose to the meeting place, and came to the clearing rather quickly.
The trees broke ahead of her, and she slowed down, taking a deep, calming breath. Her head lifted as well as her tail, ever so slightly, to show she was in charge. Her paws carried her into the clearing, nodding to the wolves already there. A male, whom she had scented before on one of patrols. This must be Scabir.. There was also a female there, a maned wolf. She had never seen nor smelled her before. In fact, Elektra hadn't even known she was part of the pack. She shrugged mentally. Oh well, there was nothing to do about it now. She walked automatically to Stolz' side, plopping her butt on the ground in a graceful movement. She vaguely noticed the fawn in front of her mate. She was concentrating on his face instead. His maw seemed clear of anger, clear of shock. He doesn't know.. Good. She smiled at him softly. "Hello, again, Stolz."

SAYANG Beneath a small layer of morning frost awoke the slumbering, spotted creature. Her breathing was slowed from the previous night, her eyes blinking open wearily. She'd heard something in the distance, something calling. It had overridden her pattern of almost nonstop sleep, dragging her wearily into the world of living, the breathing, the feeling. Mind boggling under the weight of comprehension and vague noises, Sayang laid in the dampness of the surrounding grass and old, decaying leaves. Just a few more minutes, then she'd somehow rouse herself from the drowsiness and see what all the commotion was about...
A gentle kick resounded from inside herself and the dalmatian grunted in response, lifting her head quickly in surprise. Cautiously, Sayang peered at herself, half expecting to see another wolf prodding her with a claw or curious muzzle. Neither was true. It was only the swollen stomach that rumbled a protest, the significance of what had happened clicking in rapid succession. The pups. Roughly a week and a half had passed since she'd joined the highly rumored and fabled pack of Koravelle. Her presence and addition had seemingly gone unnoticed and Sayang had slipped in and out of the main areas silently, unwilling to be approached about her rank or position, much less about the growing lives inside her. Stolz constantly gazed at her and her protruding stomach as if she was a creature on display, an abnormal being that had been, for one reason or another, accepted into his royal pack.
Over the days she'd been in the pack grounds, Sayang had noticed a difference in herself. Around the King she was unnaturally self-conscious, yet not fearful. His sight didn't cause her to cower or step back in anxiety over a possible onslaught. Stolz had been kind in all respects, defying all her expectations by uncountable lengths. She had been looking for a safe haven for her pups, a place she could use as a refuge, a sanctuary. Thoughts and nightmares still lingered on Phantom's whereabouts, his plans to take her back to Einheit, and yet she was finally at peace. The gods willing, she would never have to see that beige fur and those glaring, demanding eyes again. That alone, was more a blessing than she could ever thank anyone mortal or immortal for.
Yawning, the female grudgingly rose from the chilly ground, her hips swaying as she accommodated for her swollen stomach. It was then that hunger seized over the she-dog, her mind feeling faint as she steadied herself over the ground. When had she eaten last? In all honesty, Sayang couldn't quite remember, the past few days blurring into a whirlpool of lost memories. She'd been sleeping so much that she hadn't much time for anything else. Hunger had been higher than normal and she'd only had the energy for small rodents that were slow enough for even her lumbering body to catch. Regardless of the past days' events, she had to find something to eat. In a daze, the female clumsily started forward, shaking her head in an attempt to clear the fog from her mind.
As she traveled through the forest, Sayang grew slower and slower, barely lifting each paw high enough to not drag the ground. She was a burden to herself with the weight of her future pups, a headache started viciously in the back of her head. If the hunger hadn't been enough, she now had to deal with this nonsense. Praying for a miracle, the dog continued on, her gait pitched and wobbling. Pain ripped up Sayang's stomach and a yelp of surprise jumped off her lips. Contractions? Now? Hunger rumbled through her insistently, expanding her throbbing, screaming headache. Just make it stop... Overcome by fatigue, the dalmatian fell to the forest floor, her breath coming heavy as another contraction swallowed her previous pain, replacing it with fear as it fled down her spine. It would only be a matter of time now.
"Stolz... please."
In a last ditch attempt, Sayang feebly shouted a few words into the air, her voice cracking and winded. It wasn't loud enough for anyone to hear her. She would have to go this one alone. Eperna, please, help me.

The male didn't have to wait long, as the sleek male trotted into the clearing. He dipped his head in a greeting, a smile parting his lips. "I'm glad you came Scabir. How are you doing? Is the land treating you well?" he asked. He looked at the fawn near his feet, then nosed it closer to the brute. "Would you like some? I just caught it," His tail thumped on the ground, licking his blood covered muzzle again. He was glad that this wolf was the first to come, he seemed to be the most interesting wolf to converse with. In the little while that he had been here, there had been a few interesting conversations. Scabir's scent was also strong along the boundary of their territory, which he was pleased for. "I want to thank you for all the work you have done here so far Scabir. Our lines have been patrolled well and marked with the scent of Koravelle. I have you to thank for that."
Just then, the manned wolf that had joined their ranks not to long ago entered the clearing. Her words were clipped and short, much like her personality. He laughed shortly, shaking his head at the female. "Hello Cammie, I am glad that you came. Cammie, meet Scabir," he said, turning his head from male to female. It was a strange thing to introduce these wolves to each other. This was his pack, his home and his lands. "Are you hungry Cammie? We can't have our Dame getting hungry," he said, laughing once more. Then, finally, Elektra walked in. She carried herself high, and he felt a small bubble of pride swell in his heart. She came and sat beside him, smiling and saying hello.
Stolz tail thumped on the earth harder, smiling at his mate. It still felt so strange, saying that word. "Fellow pack members, this is Elektra. She was sent by my father to help rule these lands by my side an-" Something was wrong... The male froze, then looked at the wolf beside him. "Come and meet your Queen, I'll be right back," Stolz was about to run away, but ripped off a huge piece of the tender fawn meat before dashing off. Something was wrong... where was Sayang? His howl had been loud, she would of heard it. Then it hit him, her pups. Her pups! His pace picked up until he was full out sprinting, the large hunk of meat dripping blood on his chest.
"Sayang? Sayang!" he called, seeing the dalmatian passed out on the forest floor. He raced to her and dropped the meat by her nose, hoping that the smell would make her eat. "I'm here Sayang, I'm here!" he barked, whining as he bent down closer to the dog. He licked her head a few times, his tongue rasping over her short fur. "I'm here," he mumbled again, concern welling up in his stunning green eyes. Was she having her pups? Right now? Fear clenched at his belly, this was not the best place for her to give birth. But he would be by her side the entire time.

ENDEEM Endeem walked slowly through the grass. Elektra, the alphess who he had met just a few days ago, had invited him to join Koravelle. He had been extremely shocked and surprised at first; who knew a sklavin could get so far as to join the highest ranking pack in the territory? He was still extremely proud of himself for escaping bondage. He raised his head as he heard a howl. Not too sure about meeting the other members so soon, Endeem took his time in reaching the area the howl had come from.
As Endeem came into the clearing, he saw a couple of wolves sitting about. He recognized Elektra, but had no idea who the other wolves were. He assumed that the big wolf being offered a fawn was the Alpha of Koravelle. Endeem couldn't put face to name, or much less remember what the high Alpha was called. Stol? Stell? He didn't know.
Suddenly, the big brute got up, ripping a chunk of meat off the fawn, and dashed past Endeem. What's gotten into him? Endeem wondered. Too late to bow his head in respect, the wolf was far off already, Endeem turned his head back to the other wolves.
"What's gotten into him?" Endeem puzzledly asked the remaining packmates. He turned his head and studied the broken underbrush that the Alpha had accidentally made. Endeem tipped his head to one side in curiosity, then followed the trail.
It wasn't too hard to follow, with twigs and grass lying every which-way. As Endeem reached his target, he saw the Alpha gently nuzzling something, or some wolf, with his nose. Respecting the idea that the Alpha perhaps might need some distance, Endeem remained where he was. If the Alpha sensed his presence, however, Endeem had no idea what to say.
