The wolf had enough of her damn stutter. It was one thing to carry it when she was scared, but for every word she said? It made it hard for her to communicate and made her embarrassed. It only added to her position of Sklavin, and she wanted it gone. It would help her move on from her past, to forgive the wolf's that gave her this impediment. Sure, she could be asking for her scar to heal or for her to hear out of her right ear, but neither of those things bothered as much as her speech did.
A plump rabbit hung from her jaws as she trotted up to the waterfall. She had heard that it please the wolf god's more when they were brought something in a form of offering. She had nothing else to offer, so she had been out hunting all morning to find the fattest bunny that she could. It was difficult for her to hunt, with her hearing off and all and rabbits being so quick, but she had finally got one. The sun was already setting by the time she made it to the waters edge. Dropping the rabbit on the ground, she looked up to the sky. "I-i-if anyone's li-listening, I w-w-w-ould like to as-sk y-y-you f-f-for a bl-blessing. M-m-my w-w-w-ords, m-m-my s-s-stutt-tter. I am pr-praying t-t-to you t-t-o ask y-you t-t-t-o t-ta-ake it a-away f-f-or m-m-me."
With her words done she sat, her black tail curling around her rusted paws. Her heart was hammering in her chest, her weight dancing from paw to paw as she waited. Would her wish be granted? Would one of the wolf gods here her and take pity on the same female?

EPERNA [/center]
It was a pleasant, peaceful day, the wind caressing and tickling her side lightly, the sun's rays lightly kissing the glittering crimson fur along her spine. Eperna strolled slowly through a path of tall wheat grass, the pale stalks brushing tenderly against her legs. Her sides rose and fell steadily, her paws thudding dully against the hard ground as she moved forward, her movements so graceful and light that she nearly appeared to be floating. Her ears flickered back and forth, tail swaying ever so slightly as she walked.
The words quietly broke through the silence, and Eperna came to a halt, golden eyes flashing with interest. It was Echo who called to her, the delicate Ethiopian daughter who had suffered so dearly. With a sound resembling a loving whisper, Eperna turned and disappeared, the wheat swaying gently in her wake.
She appeared before Echo, who stood near the falls, a chubby rabbit sprawled at her feet. Eperna smiled, the action so loving and kind, as if Echo was one of the most important beings in the world. And she was, to Eperna. All of her children was so treasured, so loved..Slowly, Eperna inclined her head, daintily gesturing towards the rabbit with her rich crimson muzzle.
"Thank you, my daughter," she said softly, before gazing at Echo with mirthful, shining eyes. "You have been through so very much. Your courage and strength are of the highest capacity.
Falling silent, Eperna nimbly stepped forward, brushing her ashen nose along the length of Echo's scar. Then, stepping back, she beamed at her daughter wolfishly, the air seeming to shift and vibrate around her, pelt sparkling gloriously as she slowly began to fade from sight.
"Be proud, Echo, and speak firmly now. Have faith in yourself, as where there is darkness, there must be some light."
Steadily and surely, Eperna's form faded from sight, the wind moving more spiritedly with her absence.
