(Kindle is set up for Phantom; no stealing)
Kindle could have laughed at the irony of his predicament if it was not so frustrating. The dull orange and sooty grey wolf found himself at the auktion block, which he had planned, but rather in the wrong position. He had been planning to work here, not be a sklavin to be sold here! He had travelled imagining how entertaining it might be to have a fluctuating number of wolves to constantly scare and torment. Dealing with the same wolves all the time is one of the key reasons he’d left the pack, to find others who would be entertaining. Deceiving, manipulating, scaring, and just generally tormenting other wolves was one of the best ways to pass a day.
So now the wolf was to be taken by whatever dominor wanted him to be their means of amusement. A long suffering sigh as he was sure to keep his head tilted downward, his eyes looking upward, trying to get a look at some of the other wolves without them getting a glimpse of his watchful bright amber and dark brown eyes. Those eyes tended to stick out and drawing attention to himself was the last thing he wanted, at least until he found a dominor who looked exactly like what Kindle wanted. He needed a dominor that didn’t appear to find pleasure in torturing those weaker than themselves. Someone whom he could deceive, someone who could eventually become his Sklavin. It was hard to not look amused at the thought, quickly turning his head away from a passing dominor not wanting them to notice his lapse in his little act. His smile likely looked sadistic and would not work well with the submissive role he was trying so hard to play.
It was a true pity he wasn’t working here. He could scent the fear in the air, terror and see that some no longer even cared of what happened to them. Kindle bet he could make them care, make them wish they could run away from terrors they had never imagined. He bet he could do that without even touching some of them. Kindle just sat there though, head turning off, body shifting to look away from the more aggressive wolves. Unfortunately that seemed to be most of what he was seeing here. He was confident that he could manipulate any of the wolves, but that didn’t mean they wouldn’t have fun injuring him until Kindle had them in his trap.
His thick coat worked against him with the blazing sun, but that at least he was use to and so it didn’t overly bother him. Still, he wouldn’t have minded a day with a bit more clouds. Another Sklavin was put close to him and then left alone considered not worthy of being noticed. His eyes flicked towards it and then appeared to talked to himself, though he was quite sure the sklavin heard him just fine.
“How did I get myself into this mess? Why am I still alive, better off dead than here.” A short pause, letting his body shudder before he spoke again, “Maybe I can make them kill me fast. Better than what I’ve heard some say will happen to you. They…,” he whimpered ever so softly, “they punish you if you look at them the wrong way, or attack you for no reason other than pleasure. They said, said they saw a wolf who never quit shivering, who’s eyes were distant and he just didn’t respond anymore. So many scars, so many places there was no longer any fur, staggering all the time…”
Momentary pleasure was found in feeling the wolf was staring at him in horror. Small pleasures helped to pass the time. This should keep him for a little while at least.

Just a little more, come on and satisfy me
Darling light, oh such a dreadful bliss. The brute snorted in a quiet snarl that damned Kasimira! Those accursed elders! They wouldn't know how to judge a fight had a pup gone against a bear! he thought with a growl through clenched fangs. It's time to find myself a new toy, otherwise I am going to SNAP! his mind rumbled. "Kasimira better watch her back! Next time I won't lose to her" the brute snarled under his breath. Granted he'd cause the most damage in the fight, he had got a good night's rest knowing that he lost fighting at his best, and that the fae won, because the elders saw her the better competitor. Hopefully he left her with quite a few permanent scars, and that leg. He hoped that leg would be a reminder of just how inferior the fae was to him. With that thought in his find, it brightened his mood, but couldn't dampen the fury that still boiled deep down. his chest burned as if someone had dipped his heart in liquid nitrogen, forever frozen.
Just a little more, come on and terrify me
As the brute marched up to akuton rocks with not his usual regal trot, but a heavy untamed glare, and a feral snarl upon his lips. This wolf looked more beast than alpha. The other dominors scrambled from his path, those who where unable to move quick enough were shoved brutally aside, or clamped between his jaws, and tossed to the ground. All of you, every single one of you are Sklavin! Bow before the true master! the brute thought with a deep growl. He sat apart from the roaring pack of Dominors, a headache brewing from their constant calls. A rumble started in his chest, and quickly began to rise until it became a cross between a snarl and a roar. "Be silent! Silence your snapping maws, and actually take some pride in your your choosing, rather than showing off how well you can flap your chops!" he snarled. A heavy silence fell over the crowd, and all eyes were on the frustrated alpha. The brute looked toward the group, who quickly lost interest in the hatred of his gaze, or became terrified at the sudden hostility the brute held even towards his own kind.
Take my life and then I'll feel okay
the brute looked up over the rocks, finding nothing of interest. As the groups emptied and filled he still found nothing between the fluctuations. Finally something of interest appeared in front of him. And a smirk appeared on his lips. Phantom mad his way up the rock silent as a mute. The sklavin moved immediately, not wanting any part of him, certainly nothing like his show he put on for the other Dominors. Finally he came to his target. A young wolf, a wolf from his past, his scent had been almost erased completely, but his pack's old marks still lingered on the poor creature's pelt. As the dominor crept closer, he took his regal stance lifting his damaged tail even so, and holding his proud head high, as a signal of his status. once he reached the poor ashen looking wolf his bent closer to whisper in his ear with a sly, devilish grin. "How are your parents?" he whispered. "Still conniving, and tricking their way up into to world?" he continued just a bit louder. "You filthy Sklavin!" the brute snarled. yes i know exactly who you are he thought, as he backed away for a moment to look down on his new slave. And you are exactly what I need to relieve some anger he thought, with a sadistically vile grin upon his lips. "Follow" he commanded as he made his way down the rocks.

It certainly wasn’t hard to notice Phantom as he vented his anger about the rock. The wolf was doing quite well over making sure every wolf there knew he was in bad spirits and apparently none here wished to challenge that anger. Whether that was because of a reputation he had, or jut by how furious he appeared Kindle wasn’t sure. Either way it was best to make sure this wasn’t the one who chose him. Turning his head away to watch another set of brute’s Kindle noticed how a silence seemed to form in the air. Not only had the brute shut up, but apparently no other wolf dared to speak after the tyrant. The silence lasted for longer than Kindle felt comfortable with. His tail twitched one way then the other.
The silence gnawed at him, demanding he see what was going on. Time seem to passed far too slowly so that he eventually gave in to the urge to see what was happening. Look at those wolves, staying far away from…from a wolf that was starting to look all too familiar. Phantom? Memories flashed back in Kindle’s mind, of the young wolf that stole his time with his parents all too often. What was he doing here? Kindle had often wondered what had happened that night and many possibilities had crossed his mind. None of those possibilities had ever included seeing him again in the future. It wasn’t that he’d bothered to wish Phantom dead, just that he was glad the wolf was gone and wondering how much his parents had assisted with his disappearance.
Kindle’s shock and surprise at first had him showing very little reaction, just watching Phantom as if he was a part of some nightmare that he could only view, not interact. However when the wolf stood straight in front of him Kindle felt his fur bristle up, lips twitching in response to the threat that was all too apparent in the wolfs eyes.
"How are your parents?" "Still conniving, and tricking their way up into to world?" "You filthy Sklavin
There went the last moment of thought that perhaps he had lost his mind and this was a different wolf that just resembled Phantom. After all, he had filled out more than from when he saw him last, and there was far more anger in him now. Kindle knew his parents were no saints, but as to what in particular Phantom was talking about Kindle could only assume it had to do with the night he vanished, but it was a guess.
“Phantom…” the words were whispered, with more confusion than anything. Little tended to shock Kindle and yes that had certainly done that. He wasn’t even sure how to react at this second. It was as if he knew there were feelings somewhere inside of him, feelings he could almost touch but it was like they were locked away behind a pane of glass.
Follow"
Kindle did as asked, and was silent those first few steps, as he finished recovering. Then, after those few steps he froze watching this bit of his past. “What are you doing here?” A hesitant pause and then the question popped out, “what happened that night?” probably wasn’t the best time to question him, but after not knowing for so long, it seemed to need to be asked immediately. Hell, who was this ghost of his past that thought he could command him anyway? Phantom was no one special! He never was! He was suppose to have been alpha some day and then he left. Nothing special about him since he ran off. Only thing special about Phantom was that he’d get him off this rock and then when they were alone he could challenge him. He would win, then he’d be free again and Phantom would be his! Now that would be fun. Phantom had stole some of his parents time from him, but Kindle would be sure to make him apologize, every single day.

Just a little more, come on and satisfy me
The brute was at least able to get off the rocks with his little 'companion', but at soon at they touched level ground the runt had the audacity to open it's mouth and speak. Instantly questioning him about his past. The brute remained quiet, this was not the place to discuss the past. Certainly if it involved relations with a sklavin, his reputation was already taking a hit from his loss to Kasimira, he would not embarrass himself infront of such a large group of dominors. "Be silent! all will be answered once we've returned to Einheit" the brute growled. Phantom continued on, he was pleased that he'd be able to exact his revenge upon the damned betas, even if it was indirectly to them, he'd exact his revenge upon their offspring.
Just a little more, come on and terrify me
The brute looked out into the desert as the Akuton rocks continuously slipped away becoming smaller and smaller on the horizon. Phantom whipped around to face his new sklavin "I'm surprised you even remember me, but it's not that much of a shock considering you were part of that traitorous brood" he growled. "Yes, I'm Phantom. But you will only refer to me as master, or lord now, am I understood? You are MY sklavin, and I am going to enjoy making your life hell!" the brute said in a sadistic roar. "You want to know what happened that night?! Your parents attacked me in my sleep! The supposed 'loyal' betas of my father's pack played us both for fools! They attacked me, and chased me from the pack lands. The pack thinks I've run away don't they?" the brute snarled, he then chuckled at his next thought. "they are probably perishing at the paws of those pitiful creatures that you called parents!" he barked lashing out at the sklavin's right eye with his claws hoping to leave a nice clean mark, and draw some blood. The brute rotated on his heels after this action, and continued on his way with a cold glare on his visage. "I care not, they got what they deserved. If they cared they would've bothered to look for me" he said in a low growl as he stalked off.
Take my life and then I'll feel okay
Glaring light hummed down on them, beating their pelts with it's fiery whip, but the brute was already fuming. He had found his antidote however, a nice little toy for him to resolve all his problems over. "You are sklavin, a slave, a toy to entertain your master, get used to it you spoiled pup. you'll find there are no ties between us other than that. That pack mate you knew...your parents murdered that night." he said coldly heading out over the hot terrain. "You'll follow me, if you don't want anymore trouble." he barked as his pelt began to turn to shadow as the light engulfed him.

Kindle sneered but stayed quiet at Phantom’s command. Not so much by any silent threat, but just because he had more than enough to think on as it was. It was probably going to take a while to tame Phantom, and actually it was rather questionable if he could beat this wolf in a fight. As he’d noticed earlier Phantom had filled out well, and his anger did make him seem rather dangerous. Well, lots of wolves suddenly seemed far more challenging than they actually were once they were pissed off. Kindle was by no means a lousy fighter, he just preferred winning a fight by tricking the opponent.
So, Phantom got what he wanted, a quiet Kindle if he assumed that was because he had ordered it, that was fine. Wrapped up in his thoughts he did come to a rather abrupt stop when Phantom turned on him. Now, he certainly had a lot of passion when he spoke.
I'm surprised you even remember me, but it's not that much of a shock considering you were part of that traitorous brood" "Yes, I'm Phantom. But you will only refer to me as master, or lord now, am I understood? You are MY sklavin, and I am going to enjoy making your life hell!"
Such a temper! It wasn’t like Kindle had ever done anything to him. Perhaps all this rage would work to Kindle’s advantage. If you get one angry enough logic leaves them and they can make a lot of mistakes, and possibly not even care they are making them. Was Phantom such a wolf? He hoped so, for all the time this wolf stole his parents away from him!
. "You want to know what happened that night?! Your parents attacked me in my sleep! The supposed 'loyal' betas of my father's pack played us both for fools! They attacked me, and chased me from the pack lands. The pack thinks I've run away don't they?"
So there it was. The answer he’d been waiting for. Of course Phantom could be lying but Kindle doubted it. He had never known the details and yet it fit quit well into what Kindle did know. He doubted any wolf could fake the amount of rage Phantom was showing at any rate. Did he feel sorry for Phantom. It would be upsetting he imagined, if one you trusted suddenly turned on you. Well, then maybe he should have never looked to Kindle’s parents in the first place. Kindle didn’t want to consider Phantom’s side of things to deeply. Not after having been so bitter to him for a good while. So, now he was over Phantom, had no longer cared about the wolf’s part in his life, and so of course now he would show up again.
"they are probably perishing at the paws of those pitiful creatures that you called parents!"
Kindle was about to snap out a retort when the paw suddenly came at him, he tried to jerk back, squeezing his eyes shut at the last second and snarled as he felt the nails hit flesh.
"I care not, they got what they deserved. If they cared they would've bothered to look for me"
“The pack was doing just fine when I left actually. My parents seem to have a taste for power, if they wanted to kill off the pack, I imagine you would have been their first victim.” The words were said with venom, and a smile that said he found it all quite amusing. "As far as you not caring, you seem pretty worked up for someone who doesn't care. Angry at me? I didn’t want you with us in the first place! Father had little enough time for us to begin with, and then you came along and he had even less time. Same with mother. So, you blame me when it was all your fault for getting in the way to begin with. Apparently if you let your parents die, and then let yourself get chased out of the pack, maybe that’s just proof you were never good enough to be an alpha.” There was no longer any amusement in his voice, just hatred as those memories came back.

Just a little more, come on and satisfy me
The brute was already fuming. the rage that bubbled underneath was only held back by the gates of his sanity and pride, but this wolf obviously held now respect for him. Perhaps it'd like another to go with the one over it's eye. Every word uttered from the Savage's mouth was a brick against the gate holding back his rage, and this gate was only build to withstand so much. with his rage pounding on one side, and the creatures vicious notes slamming against the brute was going to lose it. And lose it all over this dreadful little sklavin. Shut up! I've done my father proud! he screamed at himself. Those filthy sklavin you call parents were weak! they saw me as a threat, and thus had to get rid of me! yes, this is what he knew, this is what he assured himself of. "Silence! They were weak! It is exactly as I know! You're filthy parents were weak, and saw a true threat to their plans rising, so that had to eliminate it to ensure they could continue without flaw" the brute roared over the voices, any voice, everything.
Just a little more, come on and terrify me
The brute leaped at the sklavin clamping down with powerful serrated fangs. He forced him to the ground pinning the brute before he could finish his entire rant. Phantom was going to force him to listen to the truths of this skalvin's new world. "You are a slave understand this and know that I will NOT tolerate these outbursts. Your life will be ended before you even get the chance to live it!" the brute snarled. "Now pay attention for I will not repeat this. My MOTHER died bringing me and my siblings into the world. My FATHER died proudly leading our pack to victory in a territory war! And I live to proudly carry on their legacy and lead MY pack, Einheit to greatness! You know nothing of the complexities of higher status you whelp! do not talk as if you know what the pack had been through, what I have to live up to! you are a pup, a whelp, a skalvin! nothing more, and never will be anything more." the brute said clamping his fangs closed even still, nearly choking the life out of his toy for a brief moment before releasing him.
Take my life and then I'll feel okay
The brute shoved the sklavin to it's feet, and commanded it to walk. "You'll run into much more trouble if you can't accept your place here. You're not a beta, you are a slave, lower even more so than my omegas. and you in particular are lower than even my female slaves." the brute growled as he lowered himself poised to attack again should the sklavin speak back. "You'd do well to mind your master of you plan on surviving long" the brute snarled.

"Silence! They were weak! It is exactly as I know! You're filthy parents were weak, and saw a true threat to their plans rising, so that had to eliminate it to ensure they could continue without flaw"
A smirk had started to appear on Kindle’s face, several comments coming to mind, but he never did get a chance to voice them. One moment he was there, standing watching Phantom as he went on with his tirade, and the next moment he was on the ground, looking up at the top of Phantom’s brow and his bristling neck fur. He had maybe made him a tad more upset than he should have. If it wasn’t for what a dangerous position he was being put in, there was a lot of promise to be had by someone who had a memory that should cause him so much pain.
Kindle started to pull his lips back to snarl at him, his muscles bunching to try and pull himself up, but it was quickly obvious that would only dig Phantom’s fangs deeper into his neck. While Kindle made a few more attempts to find a way to break this grip he got to listen to Phantom explaining Kindle’s new place in the scheme of things and his parents history. Thoughts came into his mind again of what he could say back, but the thoughts were a bit foggy as it seemed to be getting harder to breathe. His mouth that had been trying to snarl was now wide open to just try and get more air, his chest heaving as his body worked harder to get the much needed air.
It was getting hard to breath. No, it was hard to breath earlier, now it was at a point he wasn’t thinking right. He heard a whimper and realized that heartbeat later he’d been the one making the sound. His paws were no longer under his command as they kicked at the air struggling to find a way to breath. Was he doing more? What was his last thought?
When he was released he just lay there panting, his eyes staring off ahead and yet seeing nothing. His mind seemed to be constantly acknowledging what was going on, but from a few seconds ago instead of the present. Phantom shoved at him, saying something, which a moment later Kindle realized was telling him to move. Oh, he was standing. Kindle shook his head to clear it a bit, blinked his eyes and started walking. There was a time and place to be defiant or to manipulate, but that was for when his mind was functioning properly. Now was not that time.
As he walked he did feel his mind focus better, letting him become fully aware of everything, and think through the meaning of what happened. He took a moment to consider himself, walking with his tail drooping, head low, even his ears seeming to droop a bit. He looked a wreck. He looked probably exactly like what Phantom hoped to see.
“I want to know something.” No defiance in his voice this time, offering far more respect and softness, “why hate me for what my parents did? It’s not like they ever discussed it with me, even after you left, they never told me.” Kindle could have started to regain a more dignified look but he imagined it was best not to do that until Phantom wasn’t quite so pissed. For now his best chance was to talk, carefully talk, and see how much he could rummage inside of Phantom’s mind.
