OOC Hey! It's Ruki! :D Been workin' on a new skin, which is why I haven't posted much, and it's finally done! Mostly anyway. Change it to Umber Fields and you should see all the fun. There are bound to be a few kinks in the display, so please tell me if there's anything wrong, or if something just looks odd to you, like if the font's too small. :C I'm thinkin' it might be. Staff ppl should pm me with 100x100 icons. Also the mini-profile circle images are 125x125. I thought they were 100x100 at first, but no, I forgot about the circle border edits. |D Couldn't have gotten it done without the codes from the people in the credits, so silent shoutout to them. Staytuned for more weird updates. Might do some re-arranging of the boards. Anywho, hope you like it!
OLD: 4/04 Ruki says: NEW SEASON! Spring has started! We might start advertising places again now that midterms are over for all of us, and posting is back up. Not exactly OOC news, but Enheit Alpha Sinead has PUPPIES. If you wanna adopt the last one, the adopt thread is HERE! Ody and Raven have their own rules for this, so read them and adopt a pup if y'all want. SPRANG BRAAAAKE.
2/26/15 WHY HELLO! Guess who it is again. Ruki. I've been busy condensing rules and tips into a handy updated guidebook here on THIS PAGE! with the help of my fellow staff buddies. It's super important to read and make sure you get all the fun info down. The newest rule is about ALPHA ACTIVITY, so be sure to read the Lands and Territories section. The gist of it is that yall leaders gotta post once a week. If you don't POOF. No more land for you. This is a new rule, but if you haven't posted within the next few days and haven't been active in a while, you best get on that 'cause yo' land's 'bout to be snatched.
IC Spring is here at last and the land is beginning to flourish with new life once more. Young animals are plentiful and slowly others are rousing out of hibernation. April showers rain down, and springtime flowers are budding out from their winter beds. SPRING will last from April 1st - June 1st
AGE: two years GENDER: female BREED: arctic wolf HEIGHT: 24 in. APPEARANCE: amethyst is an extremely small wolf for both her age and breed. most wolves by her age would grow to be at least 26 inches, where she is hardly pulling 24. not only is she small in stance, but she is rather thin with a thick coat that seems to hide it. she has a very lanky, yet somehow slender appearance - long legs and bushy fur. basically, she is a walking cloud. even for her small and skinny appearance, she is rather beautiful. her coat is a stunning and clean white that always carries the sweet scent of herbs. she has milk chocolate eyes that seem to catch every movement. her coat is naturally long and built for the cold weather, but seems to thin out just a hair when it comes to the warmer climates. because of this small form, she is not a strong wolf, basically, she's real weak.
Overall: amy really isn't your average wolf, but she isn't much different either. she fits into the normal wolf category as she eats, sleeps, and fights for her survival, but different in that she cherishes the life of others and spends her time educating herself on healing methods. amy is a weak wolf and she knows it. she wouldn't stand a chance in a battle with any wolf that was mature and because of this she is easily submissive and won't even try to defend herself. she is that one puppy in the world that has been kicked too many times. even for the abuse she has suffered, amy is still a very sweet and loyal canine, however just a tad bit timid. she has never harmed a soul - except prey for survival - and rather looks toward stretching lives and helping in any way she can. amy doesn't like to be on her own. she enjoys having a pack to rely on for food and shelter, as well as a higher authority, or a leader, to give her a path to follow and a purpose.
FATHER: unknown, deceased MOTHER:ember SIBLINGS: no siblings
amethyst had a great life growing up. she was born to a very loving mother in the heart of a pack that took pride in doing good for each other and just trying to thrive in the world they all shared. her father had died in a battle with rogue's a few months before she had been born, but she had heard he died honorably, and could only look up to him. unlike most of the other wolves in her back, amy did not find a thrill in hunting innocent animals or fighting to defend the land, instead, she found pleasure in saving her pack the only way she could think of - protecting them from and healing their injuries.
from her birth it was obvious she wasn't meant to be a fighter. her thin legs and abnormally small stance screamed weaknesses, but no one looked down on her for it. she was an enthusiastic pup and was just a thrill to have around the territory. her mother figured she would turn out to be just like her - a hunter and the leader (as her mother was) when she was old enough. however, amethyst had other plans. she couldn't kill the innocent victims with the group, she was too kind and found that it was unfair for a pack of wolves to attack a single animal. there was no chance of survival.
instead, once she was old enough she began to hunt her own food. (around a year.) she would find a sizable prey for herself - squirrel, rabbit, ect - and hunt it herself. that way, it was just her in the prey, plenty of room for escape if it was fast enough. in her mind, she was giving it a chance, a fair fight, rather than one that completely outnumbered the victim. of course, she shared in pack meals, but she wouldn't hunt for the pack, only for herself. of course, by the time she needed a rank, she looked pretty useless to the pack. she was pushed to the rank of omega and used as the play-toy and stress reliever of all the other wolves.
a wolf could only take such a beating before they finally broke. and amy was weak both physically and mentally, which had ever running off to be on her own much sooner. by the age of two, she had educated herself in healing methods. she helped the strangers she came across, saved the lives of even some animals she should consider prey. but, in her mind, it was about the peace and beauty of life. and if she were ever to stand for anything in the world - it would be just that.
