"Hell is empty and all the devils are here."
this is me in the flesh,
NAME: DecimusNICKNAME(S): NonePRONUNCIATION: Deh-sea-musPOSITION: Dominor
taste the sky,
AGE: 4 yearsGENDER: MaleBREED: Great Plains WolfHEIGHT: 42 inchesAPPEARANCE:Standing at a towering 42 inches, Decimus is certainly no small wolf. With a pelt that is a mixture of black, dark grays and browns, and silver, his appearance is as dark as his personality. Black blankets the brutes back, where it is darkest upon the tail. It fades to dark gray and then finally to silver as you move down his body, with his face being mostly gray save for the silver-white markings around his muzzle, almost appearing as if he is wearing a mask. He is muscular beneath his thick pelt, with a coal black nose and eyes that are a bright gray. He stands with his cranium held high, always, as if he could physically hold himself above others. Indeed his height usually accomplishes this, and he uses it to his full advantage by drawing himself up straight and proud.
thoughts that make me go insane,
PERSONALITY:There are no qualms about it: Decimus is, inevitably, unhinged. Due to a traumatic past, the brute has come to believe that he i responsible to serve as a messenger of retribution and redemption. He believes himself to be invincible, although he truly is no more than a normal wolf. He does not believe that he himself is a God, although he does like to think that he does their bidding and serves his purpose on the earth. Normally Decimus is annoying arrogant, bigoted, opinionated, and cruel. He has difficulty dealing with positive emotions or affection, as he was never shown any form of love when he was young. The only type of feeling Decimus truly enjoys is pain – both inflicting it and receiving it, although he does not enjoy large amounts of pain, as it makes him feel “too mortal”. He believes that pain brings one closer to the Gods themselves, and no matter how twisted his logic may be, he sticks to it. He is extremely domineering, and his respect for females is significantly less than his respect for others; he enjoys their submissiveness to him, and nothing more. He is condescending to nearly everyone, and has an extremely dark sense of humor that tends to make those around him uncomfortable.
all over my shoulder,
FATHER: CortezMOTHER: TammeraSIBLINGS:Odelia,Colm,Kamala,DarinHISTORY:Tammera was very young when she conceived her first litter, barely old enough to carry them. Although she was a Great Plains Wolf, like the father – Cortez, she was on the smaller side due to her youth, and experienced difficulties with the birth. She met Cortez when she’d wandered away from her pack one day, impressed by his size and power. He was a smooth talker, and she was naïve; when he raped her, she allowed herself to be convinced that she had consented, and even agreed to leave with Cortez. Without so much as a word to her family, Tammera went with him. They traveled for days on end, and when it became clear to Tammera that she was pregnant, she gleefully informed her mate. She was met with rage, and he verbally berated her over her stupidity. It became a regular occurrence, with Courtez bringing her food and affection one moment, and then turning cold the next.As the months wore on, Tammera grew heavier and heavier. Cortez began to tire of her, claiming that she slowed him down and that he truly had no interest in the pups. Tammera woke one night to find herself very much alone – Cortez had gone, and she would never see him again.A week later, after struggling to fend for herself, Tammera gave birth. Young, terrified, and alone, she crawled into the nearest den she could find, where she struggled to birth her five pups. When it was done, she was ill for some time, unable to go and find food for her pups. With each day they weakened, even Decimus, who was the second largest brute of the litter. The smallest, a male named Darin, died first. Tammera forced herself to hunt from that moment on, providing milk for her pups, who slowly but steadily grew stronger. With each passing day, Tammera found that she grew less and less fond of the pups. She began to realize that they were a product of rape, and that she’d followed an abusive male so far from home. Most of the pups took after their father, with dark fur and silver eyes. It made her loathe them all the more. For months she tolerated them until they were old enough to hunt on their own, although the still yearned for their mothers affection, which she never gave to them. One bright morning, Tammera began to take the pups one by one down to the nearest river, where she drowned them. When only Decimus and his sister Kamala remained in the den, the two began to grow worried for their siblings. Their mother returned, acting strange and erratic as she demanded that they both follow her to the river. They did so hesitantly, and upon spotting the bodies of their siblings, the two attempted to flee. Kamala was caught by Tammera, but Decimus managed to escape, his sister’s cries still ringing in his ears.Alone and young, Decimus hid by day and traveled by night, attempting to put as much space between he and Tammera as possible. His mind began to play tricks on him, whispering that there was something in the shadows when there was not. Many times Decimus brushed pelts with death, narrowly escaping the claws of a mother cougar and often times going without food. He began to grow delusional as he grew into his massive size, telling himself that the only reason he lived was because the gods had willed it. That was why his siblings had died, Decimus decided one day. They were imperfect and therefore culled, but he was the only one who had escaped. He had been victorious. The years passed slowly, and Decimus grew to an adult, nearly the size of his father and the spitting image of the brute, although he did not know it. Although his youth faded, his delusions did not.
