CHALANDRA Dusk had just slipped over the land as Chalandra strutted into the Einheit lands. Her tail was raised as normal, her blue eyes searching. For the past few days time had moved ever so slowly, inching along as she made her way across the lands from her night with Zy. He'd proved to be a fun accomplice, both as a flirtatious devil and a witty jock. She'd used her feminine charms to woo him quick enough. Quick work, with a brute who was oh-so willing.
As the female passed the border, the unmistakable scent of male hit her nose and she stopped for a moment, considering her options. It was a fresh scent, only a day or two old and without a trace of anything female. Lovely. Ever since her last encounter, she avoided anything resembling a she-wolf. Of course, if she found a particularly cute guy, she wouldn't just say no... She knew she could flirt her way to what she wanted easier than anyone and hopefully her skills would come in handy. Growling with a subtle pleasure, Chalandra slunk forward, her ears pricked and alert.
The air was much warmer than it had been recently and Chalandra let her gait lengthen as she shook out her pelt. It was a lovely night for some spring romance, with the soft coo of the birds and the pale glow of nearby lightning bugs. Excited, Chalandra let a soft bark slip off her lips, pulling it into a sexual growl near the end. That was sure to send his senses reeling before he even got here. Now she just had to wait.
The land was a strange combination of grit and sand and Chalandra scrunched her nose disdainfully as she sat down. She flexed her claws impatiently as she stared out into the night, her fur sparking anxiety as she pushed down the urge to leap into the night and find her lover now. There was no doubt in her mind she would have her, but she wouldn't seem so desperate about it. She would play the sexy, helpless traveling female whose only wish was a place to spend the night. Perfect.

Absinthe The thick set male grumbled with pleasure as he strolled through his territory, muscles rippling under heavy fur as he moved quickly and silently. His sunset eyes glinted in the fading light, a dark smile curling over the brute's maw. Einheit was his. It belonged to him, and to nobody else. And that alone filled him with power, with a strength that no one would dare pry from him. He was an alpha, and no one was to say any different. Absinthe's scent filled the turf, his musk warning others to stay away. As of yet, no one had challenged him, but no one had come seeking to join, either.
His smile faded as the sand shifted under his paws, unease settling in the pit of his stomach. He was alone here, in Einheit. What was the use of having land if there was no pack to keep? The harsh desert would prevent any weaklings from joining, but for the moment it seemed that the nearby wolves were too cowardly to face the heat. His maw shifted, lips raised as he growled softly. "Just you wait. Wolves will come. They always do."
A distinctly feminine bark sent Absinthe out of his inner turmoil, his senses pricking as he stopped, looking around. There was something to that sound that had him on edge, his fur prickling as his head swiveled, trying to catch sight or scent of the intruder. The fae had seemed utterly confident in her calling, as if she knew what was to come. He pinned his ears back to his skull as his nose caught her scent, flirty and alluring. He snorted, setting his pace to a ground eating jog as he followed the trail, his eyes trained for any signs of life in his barren desert. The wolf may be a female, but she was an intruder all the same. Absinthe would make no mistakes. If she came to challenge, then he would kill her. It was that simple.
A pale grey figure came into view, and he approached, stiff with authority and menace. His tail raised automatically, eyes narrowed as he quickly walked towards the girl, planting his feet directly in front of her. He was assaulted by her blue eyes, peircing and cunning, and her scent swirled around him. Absinthe shook himself mentally before raising his lips, emitting a soft, rumbling growl. "What business do you have in Einheit? Speak, girl. I don't have all night."

CHALANDRA Oh, now wasn't he the charmer! Almost immediately the female felt the tension in his coming strides, the hard attitude, the curiosity beneath it all. His emotions tinged the air with a surreal feel and Chalandra moved to meet him, her eyes following the lines of his body as he approached. Strong, well-built.
It was all too clear that he was the Alpha of the land, with his dominant posture and thick scent. He smelled thoroughly of the grit and rocks of the terrain and Chalandra shivered in response. She'd landed herself a spot with the Alpha! If she was lucky enough, there wasn't a lead female yet. Heck, if there was, she'd easily play the secretive, sklavin mistress. The silver female fluttered her lashes and opened her mouth to introduce herself--a fraction too late. Growling, his voice came to her roughly, questioning her motives.
"What business do you have in Einheit? Speak, girl. I don't have all night."
Taken aback, Chalandra's eyes grew hard before softening. Maybe he didn't appreciate her bold way of going about things. Ha. He'd learn to love it soon enough. Persistent, she replied with her ears pulled back, a look of mock bewilderment on her face.
"Is that how you greet a prospective member?"
There was a hint of contempt in her voice as she sauntered forward, engaging her hips if only slightly. She wasn't sure about actually joining Einheit, but it seemed a fair enough line to at least spark his interest. She wanted him for the night, that was certain. Anything further than that wasn't set in stone by any means. She prided herself on being a freior, free to roam, free to do what she wished. She alone was in control of her fate. If he wanted her to stay, he'd have to prove himself, make a good impression.
The clock was ticking away for him. For her, there were minutes enough to make him want her. Chalandra stepped forward to walk behind the male, flicking her tail underneath his chin playfully as she made her way. She let a soft growl slip off her lips as she moved, their fur close enough to brush. Heart racing and her emotions bubbling, the female cooed her intentions.
"I was simply looking for a place to spend the night. If you'd rather not have me, I can always go somewhere else..."
Letting her voice trail off, Chalandra cast a look back at the Einheit Alpha. Would he accept her plea and offer her a place to stay? Personally, she couldn't imagine him turning her away... Brow quirked, Chalandra waited for the verdict, her blue eyes flickering the beginnings of a nocturnal lust.
Let's create a little fun, darling.

Absinthe Absinthe saw her eyes harden and gave a smirk, as if challenging the fae to grow angry. His eyes glinted in the fading sunlight, and he rolled his thick shoulders, heavy pelt gliding over the muscle. The brute watched as the females face change, bewilderment lifting her fragile features. Her maw opened, and the words she spoke hit him in the face.
Absinthe's brows lifted, ears cocking in curiosity. So she wanted to join Einheit? A smooth chuckle rolled out of his throat, a smile breaking his hard face. "Prospective member, eh? You don't seem to be... Einheit material, lass." His dark eyes locked on her as she began to move around him, her fur brushing his body. The tip of her tail brushed his chin, and his eyes narrowed. What was she up to?
Head turning to watch the fae's movements, Absinthe felt his hackles raise ever so slightly. She was... tempting him. And by god, it was working. He shook his head slightly, but found himself eagerly awaiting her next move. She spoke again, and he found a smirk change his face, eyes rolling in mock annoyance.
"I am not known to be a charitable wolf. But, since you put it so nicely.." Absinthe turned to face the girl, his eyes locking on her crystal orbs. There was something there... Almost.. need. "Perhaps I can allow you, for one night." He gave her a smile, as if he were being extremely generous. "What is your name, lass?"
The brute sat, his eyes not leaving the fae as dust rose from the heavy impact. A slight breeze ruffled his fur, cooling and heating him up at the same time. The desert was a harsh place, and only the strongest would survive. So what was this, a petite little female, doing here? He certainly would not send her away. Not tonight, at least.

CHALANDRA "Prospective member, eh? You don't seem to be... Einheit material, lass."
At the male's condescending voice, Chalandra's head jerked meet his gaze, her grey neck fur ruffled, if only slightly. He obviously didn't realize who she was. Or what she could offer him. Sigh. Brutes were so thick sometimes. She'd practically spelled it out for this one and he was still walking in the dark. Blue eyes blinked at the male, deciding instead to take it upon herself to consider his muscles slowly and rather blatantly for a moment as consolation.
Although he wasn't the most attractive wolf she'd ever met, he wasn't hard on the eyes in any sense of the phrase. What intrigued her most, next to the muscles of course, was his eyes. They were a subtle shade of glistening amber, flickering orange in the right light. Right around the edges was a tint of pale grey, highlighting the mixture of colors against his darker brown fur. It wasn't a look of obvious beauty, but they were exotic and contrasting, daring her in the low, dying light of evening dusk.
She might as well forgive him. He had something she needed as well. And besides, as long as he didn't become a repeat offender, there was no harm done. Chalandra let her facial expressions soften, keeping her tongue in check as the Alpha offered his final decision.
"I am not known to be a charitable wolf. But, since you put it so nicely.."
Chalandra's eyes sparkled mischievously through the gathering darkness, a smirk playing on her features. By the way his eyes so eagerly searched her own, he was only seconds from giving in to her pleas.
"Perhaps I can allow you, for one night."
Score. The damsel in distress play was always a sure fire shot. To reinforce his good decision making, she inwardly promised herself to have him begging her to take up a more permanent residence by tomorrow morning, if not before. Chalandra fluttered her lashes before opening her mouth to respond, only to be cut off again by another one of the male's questions.
"What is your name, lass?"
"Chalandra."
The one word response was cool and concise, paired effortlessly with a sultry look from her emboldened blue eyes. Not exactly reprimanding him, but a reminder that she wasn't to be run into the ground like a sklavin. She was a freior, one who could leave at any time, and as much as it would pain her, she would exercise that right to the fullest extent if the need arose.
As the Alpha moved to sit, Chalandra retraced her steps to greet him more formally, her tail lifted higher than before to show a sense of excitement and, but not too high as to anger her new patron of the night. As she spoke her thanks, the grey female carefully placed a few licks on edges of the male's mouth. Enough just to taste, and certainly enough to show her true desires under the word plays.
"And I thank you for the considerate offer. I must say, I simply wouldn't feel right staying if I didn't give you something in exchange."
More veiled intentions, and a wink of the blue.
"There must be some way in which I can repay you."
Now it was his choice. Chalandra shifted her body closer to the male's own, nudging him as if he needed encouragement in coming up with a suitable solution. Hopefully he'd figure her sweet, little game out all on his own and they could get down to what they both had secretly been hoping for from the get go.
