A multi-coloured wolf pushed his way through the trees, his tail and head held high. The scent of many wolves crossed his pallet, one scent in particular tickled his fancy. It was a dominate scent, she was claiming her land. A wide smile spread the wolf's lips wide as he rubbed his scent along the trees. This was his land now, and his smell would tell her as such. He was here to tell her that a new ruler had moved in; he was King of these lands. From what his Freiherr's had picked up this Alpha was named Hayashi, and different from the others. She treated her Sklavin well, unlike some other Alpha's in these lands. His lands. He crossed the boarder and into the land of Durkell. Long, dried grass brushed across his belly as he paused, lifting his head towards the sky. A long, powerful howl shook his throat, a dominating note held within it. If this didn't get her attention, he would simply march into her camp and talk to her then. Stolz wanted to be fair to the reigning Alpha's, talk to them away from their other pack when he told them that he was now over all of their heads. He had walked here from far lands, built up a pack from nothing, and now all he had to do was alert the other wolves.
Lowering his maw from the sky Stolz stood in place, his ears perked and alert. She would come, she had too. He had just challenged her very hold on these lands. Of course, he wasn't going to throw her out. No, she would still be able to lead her pack, but he could step in without a moments notice. He would mediate problems, and expected wolves that were to become mates come and see him and see if he approved the match. He was even considering passing a law that all marriages had to be matched by the King and Queen Tsarrin. Only little things. With a snort of derision Stolz waited, having all the patients in the world. He could stand here all day if need be. The great wolf was in no rush. This was the first pack he was visiting, and he would slowly make his way across the lands and brush his scent throughout the forests. Then he would return to Koravelle and stay there, sending his Vizekönig as his stand in if need be. But other than this visit, he expected the Alpha's to come to him. He didn't want to leave his pack for this long. Looking over his shoulder the brute huffed, wishing he could return now. But he needed to wait, he had four more lands to visit after this.

The birds sang, and the rabbits ran about, awakened by the signs of morning. A light breeze had picked up, but with the warm sun, the day wasn't as chilly as previous ones. But as soon as Hayashi opened her sapphire eyes, she knew this morning would be different. There was an odd feeling in the air, clouding her senses. What could be wrong? Hayashi stood up, stretching her long limbs with a yawn. The fem took a look behind her, scanning her eyes over the sleeping bodies in the den. She hoped they would be okay without her; hopefully, this wouldn't take too long, and she'd return without them having to worry. Following her instincts, she smoothly trotted out of the den and into the silent forest, ears perked, head up. The alpha had been prowling for some time, sniffing each tree to see if someone had been here. So far, nothing was askew. As Hayashi leaped over a small stream, a howl had hit her ears, faint, but still sharp. It had a purpose. Her eyes narrowed with a snort, her muscles bunching as she took off, fur flying with her steady gait. She weaved through trees, bounded over rocks, and jumped over stumps, all in a blur. A challenger? Or something more dangerous? Although these were her thoughts, she couldn't suppress the hopeful feeling that was fluttering in her tight chest. It seemed impossible, but possible at the same time. Xercese. He had come back before, found her before, right? She shook her head, disappointed in herself. There was no way he'd come back. He was probably happy with lands and a family, Mirage at his side. That mangy mutt Mirage, pulling his strings like a puppet ... Why would he return? However, she had heard something about a King, but she wasn't sure what he would be here for ... Hayashi slowed her pace, going along at a quick walk. As she rounded a large tree, something caught her eye not too far off. She walked faster, her limbs stretching. Who could it be? In moments, the stranger was now in plain sight. He stood tall, his ears perked, gazing to the left of her into the woods. He was large, but by his posture and smug look, she knew his ego was much larger than that. She silently emerged from the brush, stance just as high and mighty as his, blue eyes narrowed domineeringly. She gracefully waltzed forward, placing each paw with precision, almost with attitude. " And who may you be, stranger? Quite polite for you to come here." Her tone was playful, sarcastic, but there was a hint of anger and wariness. No fear was present in her body as she approached, coming to a smooth halt across from his figure. Hayashi didn't care who he was, she ruled these parts, not him. ... and in my last days I'll still be standing strong . [/blockquote] [/size] [/color] |

The wolf waited with all the patients in the world. He was in no rush to do this, although he did have a bit of an urge to get back to his lands. Glancing over his shoulder slightly he wondered how his Queen was holding up with the rest of the pack. He still didn't know why his father - whom he had beat in a battle - thought he still had a hold over him. He sent a female to be his Queen, apparently hand picked by him. The male huffed, then turned back as his ears picked up slightly movement. Stolz glanced around, looking for the cream female. He was looking the wrong way, and when a voice sounded he glanced over at her, a smile forming at her kind words. "Well hello there. Beautiful day today, is it not?" he barked, dipping his head in respect as the alpha approached him.
Clearing his throat, he settled on his rump. "You may have heard some whispered about me. I am Stolz, and I wish to talk to you about why I am here," The male searched her face, watching out for signs of anger. "As you may know, I have named myself King. I wish to come and tell you myself that I am not here to take over your lands or your pack. No, you will still be Alpha of this land. I wish to change little, but there are some things that I would like of you," The male paused again, allowing Hayashi some time to absorb what he was saying. "Now, I would like for you to bring any major problems to me and my Queen, either ones that you cannot handle or ones that you simply do not want to deal with. If newly mates wolves could come see us and receive our blessing, that would be great. If all pups could be brought to us on their first birthdays, I would love that. I would like to learn the scent of all the new wolves in these lands, as well as their names. Me and my Queen will be acting like a father to the land of Ravensbruck. We are here to teach and to guild, not to stand over you."
Taking a deep breath, Stolz snapped his maw shut and wagged his tail a few times. He knew that this was a lot of information all at once, and he hoped that she excepted it well. He didn't want any problems...
