Adali Lost. That’s what the white wolf was right now. The female had been born into slavery and unlike most, she welcomed it more than those around her. Understood it more than those of the same rank. But this was wrong. All wrong. These sickly, dirty wolves around her weren’t part of her pack. They weren’t her sister or her mother, or her leader or anyone she’d grown to know in her young life. Nothing smelled the same. Instead of the beautiful scent of fresh air, the stench of countless filthy wolves hung heavy around her, as if she were repeatedly being slapped in the face. Where was she? And why was she here?
The unknown, which she greatly feared, caused a whine to escape from deep within as she called out “Arabel?!” for her sister. Her light brown eyes searched in a desperate attempt to spot anyone familiar in the crowd. Anyone she may of known. It was a failed attempt.
And then she was shoved into the ground.
A noise that sounded like a mix between a snort and a sneeze erupted from her as her face and chest impacted against the mucky ground, her coat now soiled. There was pressure placed upon her side as the rest of her body slumped to the side. “Quiet, sklavin, you’re disrupting the peace” a dirty brown wolf spat at her, though she wasn’t sure what ‘peace’ he was referring to. This place was chaos in her eyes. But she kept silent, ears pinning back and tail tucking. Adali didn’t know who the stranger was, but he was obviously of a higher rank than her. Pleased with her submission and silence, he walked off to discipline another just as upset as her. Though not before shoving the side of her face back to the ground.
A few things were now clear to the she-wolf. One: she must have been separated from her family. Two: Someone had knocked her out and drug her here, for she couldn’t remember actually journeying to this place. And three: she had no idea where the hell she even was.
Just as the female was getting back to her feet, the same brute that had shoved her down just minutes before was back and shoving her along, obviously not to concerned with a slave’s wellbeing. Quickly getting the message, she scampered in the direction in which he demanded she go, only to see a large rock looming far above her lowered head. Almost to willingly, she climbed the path up to it behind a seemingly never-ending parade of wolves that appeared and even smelled worse off than she.

TORTUGA Well, this is certainly...different.
Tortuga sauntered through Auktion Rock as if he owned the place, simply so that his arrogant behavior covered the surprise that he truly felt. Never before had he been to this filthy, bleak place. Never before had he had any reason to. Things were different now, of course. He could remember it like it was yesterday, mating with Kasimira and finding himself suddenly thrown in the middle of pack life - as an Alpha, too! It had been confusing and new, but Tortuga had adjusted well. So well, in fact, that upon noticing that the Sklavin Korie had been missing in action for some time, and then realizing how very...tame pack life had been as of late, Tortuga had made a decision.
He was going to take a trip to Auktion Rock.
That was how the brute found himself striding through the area, weaving through broken slaves and furious Dominors. Many of the Sklavins caught his eyes, but for all the wrong reasons. Too thin. Too weak. Too lifeless. What was he looking for? I don't know myself, he thought, lashing his tail back and forth wildly as he moved. Perhaps deciding to come here in search of a new Sklavin wasn't the right decision to make. Maybe he would return home without a surprise for his mate, keeping all news of his little journey to himself. Just when he began to grow truly frustrated, however, something caught his eye. A flash of white.
Tortuga faltered mid-stride, coming to a hesitant stop. There, being pressed violently into the dirt, was another wolf with beautiful ivory fur, a matching color to Tortuga's own coat. Although her coat had caught his attention, something else about her held it as she was herded off towards the large rock protruding in the distance. Her fur was not hanging from her bones, and she didn't seem to be shattered. She just seemed...confused. His interested piqued, Tortuga hurriedly resumed moving, his pace now a quick trot as he followed after her.
She joined in the line leading up the path towards the rock, and Tortuga decided that now was the time to intervene, before she caught the attention of every other Dominor present. Moving into a brisk but easy lope, Tortuga glided silently in front of her, stopping and drawing himself up proudly. He gave her a quick look over, satisfied when he realized that he had not been wrong. Her eyes did not scream 'damaged goods'. Her coat was a bit dirty, from being pressed into the dirt he assumed, but nevermind that. This was as good as it was going to get.
"You," he rumbled, his voice sliding easily between his teeth and out of his maw. He tilted his head just slightly, cerulean eyes settling on her as he shifted his weight. "What is your name?"
His voice was far from cruel, but his tone made it clear that his question was more of a command than a question. He waited quite patiently for her response, deciding that maybe coming here hadn't been such a bad idea.

Adali It was noisy here. Not like the confrontations that sometimes erupted in her old pack. No, there were no sounds of fighting right now, but there were plenty of whines and shouts of the strange dominant wolves like the one that had shoved her to the ground. But at least they weren’t yelling at her anymore, and she could keep moving along in line quickly. Where exactly her and the rest of those in front and behind her were being taken, she did not know. There was however hope that it would get her out of this place.
She lifted her head a bit to stare at a skinny slave in front of her. The sight was horrifying to the female, for it looked like a walking skeleton. Adali herself wasn’t the most well fed wolf in the world, but she’d never gotten close to being as bad as the other. And, as she glanced around, she was finally noticing that such severe malnourishment seemed to be the norm. A shiver of fear rippled through her spine. Would she soon be like them?
Before a gasp could escape the confused and surprised female, a figure was suddenly thrust in front of her and her attention was snapped off the underfed ones around her. The new wolf loomed above her, and she instantly found herself lowering to the ground in order to appear small and unthreatening. Her ears went back, tail tucked beneath her and head held almost as low as her body. The never-ending line moved around them.
This one was obviously not a slave. He was to muscular and powerful, and definitely cleaner. His coat seemed to be a similar, if not identical shade to hers, and the only other ones she had seen it on before were her sister and mother. The thought of them, nowhere to be seen, saddened her. But she did not show it.
"You"
Me? she thought, wondering what in the world this individual wanted with her. He wasn’t her alpha. Her alpha was a much darker wolf. But was he still her alpha? Someone had obviously dragged her and left her here. Had he gotten rid of her? What had she done wrong to deserve being discarded into a dump such as this? Had she said something to anger him? The thought of upsetting someone she had served tortured her. A quick look around confirmed her suspicions that he’d thrown her into this stink pit and probably wasn’t planning on returning for her any time soon.
"What is your name?"
Her eyes snapped back up to the one in front of her before she’d even realized they’d drifted. “My name is Adali” she answered smoothly, her voice quieter than she’d wanted but still audible… hopefully. She wanted to ask this stranger who he was and what he wanted, but knew better than to speak unless spoken to. As was the way in her old pack.

TORTUGA She immediately cowered before him, the little white female, appearing to shrink physically until she was half his size. Tortuga felt a pang somewhere in his chest as he sometimes did upon observing Sklavin. Before, as a Freior, he hadn't any reason to claim Sklavins, and they had no reason to bow to him. He had never been bothered by the whole process of Dominors owning slaves, but never before had he himself claimed one. Seeing this female cower before him made him feel...odd. But he had to do what he had to do. Buck up. You're not a simple Freior anymore.
My name is Adali.
Her voice was quiet, smooth, and respectful enough. Tortuga nodded one thoughtfully, moving to circle around her. Nothing about his movement was threatening or meant to intimidate her, simply to observe. She didn't appear as if she had been here long, and she didn't carry herself like a beaten, abused animal. But sometimes Sklavins were very good at hiding their past, and Tortuga briefly wondered where it was she had come from. Had she ever been claimed by a Dominor before? Ah, so many questions...he would come to that later.
"My name is Tortuga. Refer to me as Sir when speaking to me, always." This was easier than he had originally thought. There wasn't much to it, in fact. He came to a halt before her again, tail swaying back and forth as he stared down at her. Her cowering was starting to get to him, and he snorted. "You can straighten up, Adali. You haven't given me any reason to harm you, therefore you have no reason to cower."
Ah, maybe he wasn't fit for this Dominor thing. He was, after all, a bit of a softy. Oh, well. If she showed him any resistance, he would show her that he wasn't all pleasantries and rainbows. Smirking a bit, he shook himself, realizing that he had been idle for a moment.
"I think it's safe to say you'll be coming with me, but before we depart, I have a few questions for you," he said, glancing sideways as a few Sklavins shuffled around them. His eyes returned to her thin, twinkling merrily, almost as if he was amused. And he was. Never in a million years had he imagined himself standing before a Sklavin, demanding information from them before leading them back to his pack. Then again, he had never imagined himself settling down with a gorgeous fae and having pups with her. Strange, wasn't it, how life worked out. Strange how his mother had been right.
"Have you had any previous Dominors?"

Adali He circled her, and for a moment Adali felt like a peace of meat being eyed by a vulture. Though, a quick glance at his face eased her worries. By the looks of it, he wasn’t planning on ripping her to shreds for no reason, though she would have been used to being used as a casual chew toy. But in fact, there didn’t appear to be any ill intent evident on his features. He was simply inspecting, looking. For what, she wasn’t sure. This whole thing was new to her, and she still didn’t understand why she or he were even here. She longed to remember coming here, but she just couldn’t. She’d simply woken up in this place.
"My name is Tortuga. Refer to me as Sir when speaking to me, always." "You can straighten up, Adali. You haven't given me any reason to harm you, therefore you have no reason to cower."
The brute’s words surprised the female. Her alpha - well, old alpha by now - had constantly demanded she stay on the ground in his presence. One wrong move and he’d of pounced and asserted his dominance. She wasn’t used to being told to get up. But true to her nature, she did as told. “Yes, sir” she said, raising herself up most, but not all, of the way. Though still made sure her head definitely wasn't held high. She made sure to still crouch just the slightest. It was almost a habit of hers. She couldn’t ever remember standing to her full height.
The female found herself quietly glancing around, as if in search of something. Where was her old alpha? Surely he didn’t mean to ditch her here? She’d been a good slave. Always did as told. Her mind whirled as she tried to think of a reason for her being here. Had she eaten to much of the remaining scraps of the last kill her pack had made? She had taken a few larger bites than usual…
"I think it's safe to say you'll be coming with me, but before we depart, I have a few questions for you,"
Wait, what?! She stared at him for a long moment, a look of surprised taking over her features. No, no, no! This wasn’t right! How could she go with him? She needed her old leader back. Her old Dominor. The one she’d known her whole life. Maybe he’d think twice and take her back! All this change was so sudden. Too sudden for Adali. She’d never been one for change. Though the more she thought about it, the more she realized she’d have to deal with it. The more she realized this new wolf, Tortuga, was taking her away. Now she’d never get back home.
"Have you had any previous Dominors?"
Her light brown gazed dropped to the ground as she nodded. “I’ve had one, Sir. I was born a sklavin of his pack. He... he left me here” she informed him, having a hard time getting over the fact she’d been abandoned.

TORTUGA When she raised herself, Tortuga gave a quick nod, satisfied. She was a pretty thing, for a Sklavin, and Tortuga wondered again if maybe he had a good find standing before him. He thought ahead to their trip back to Irrsin. Perhaps he would take her by the stream once they had passed through the border, allow her to wash herself. Not only did he want to present her to the others with her coat in it's current state, but she was being so very well behaved, and he knew that she must have been uncomfortable...Might as well. No harm done in letting her be clean, he thought, so it's settled.
“I’ve had one, Sir. I was born a sklavin of his pack. He... he left me here”
He nodded, slightly surprised. He had assumed that a life of slavery had it ways of destroying a wolf, but here Adali stood before him, obedient yet whole. Slightly confused still, it seemed, as well. He could understand that. Suddenly being dumped here would have shaken him as well, had he been in her position, especially if it was without warning. She must have been scared, having been torn from everything she had known since birth and deposited in this filthy place...but Tortuga couldn't offer her comfort now, for when she met Kasimira, there would be none.
"It's unfortunate, being left here, but consider yourself in luck. There are Dominors much worse than me lurking around here, and they're looking out for attractive, whole products like yourself. And that is exactly what they would see you as; a product, or an object." Cruel, maybe, but true. He shrugged his shoulders a bit before glancing up at the sky. The sun was high, and although there was a decent journey back to Irrsin ahead of them, Tortuga figured that they could make it before nightfall if they left now.
"I think it's time to take you back to Irrsin now. I'd like to get there before nightfall," he said, musing aloud to himself. He wondered how Kasimira would react to Adali. Would she be pleased by the new addition, or confused by Tortuga suddenly deciding that a new Sklavin was a good idea? Either way, what was done was done. He couldn't leave Adali here now, and he had no desire to.
He gestured with his head for her to follow him as he pivoted towards the path leading away from Auktion Rock, his strides once again confident and long. So far, it had been quite a productive day. He had gotten what he had come here for, and now he was returning to Irrsin - returning home. A small smile stretched across his muzzle as he glanced back to make sure Adali was following him, tail swaying slightly as he did.
ooc - You can post once more here if you'd like, then I'll make a post for them in Irrsin :3

Adali She wasn’t expecting any sort of comfort or even the tiniest ounce of sympathy from this wolf. He was a stranger still and a Dominor. They spat on slaves, bullied them and even beat them. Adali had her fare share of scarred teeth marks under that coat of hers. She knew their kind all to well. At least, she thought she did. And while she never had asked for a better life because this is all she knew, she also knew the cruelty that her old master had used on her often. One wrong move, one toe out of line, and she’d of had teeth coming at her. Her old master had never severely injured her, no, but that didn’t mean it didn’t hurt. But she’d still been grateful to him… until she’d finally figured out he’d left her here, of course. That was a betrayal. Yet as a slave, did she even have a right to claim such a feeling? She didn’t know.
"It's unfortunate, being left here, but consider yourself in luck. There are Dominors much worse than me lurking around here, and they're looking out for attractive, whole products like yourself. And that is exactly what they would see you as; a product, or an object."
Her eyes finally came up to meet his again for a moment, before she was nervously looking around for any signs of another Dominor that might come over. One that might be nastier than the one that stood before her. Could there be one out there even worse than her old? While Adali would graciously serve any that claimed her, she didn’t want to find out. All of a sudden, she was ready to book it out of there with her new master as fast as possible. She’d take what she could get, and it wasn’t like she had a choice. Though given one, this Tortuga fella seemed like a good option. He hadn’t bitten her yet.
As soon as her new master began to head off, she took one last glance around for any signs of her sister or mother. Of course, it was a failed attempt. They either weren’t dumped here like her, or they’d already been dragged off by another Dominor. She hoped it wasn’t the latter.
With a sigh, she scurried after Tortuga, sticking as close behind as she possibly could without invading any personal space he may have had. She decided not to think on what her life might turn out like, for now at least. It was best to take all this change and not over think it. OOC: kk ^ ^
